CRAZY HORSE

In a very ho hum series to date...not the issue in game number 6...each team had it won, and let the other back in...and then, the pitching wore out for the Rangers ...and the hero turned out for Saint Looey in none other than David Freese ...a bloke out of the... Padre farm system ...who was traded back in '07 by KT for Jim Edmonds ...OK, not a play station error, but a bad SD move, nonetheless...good for the Cards ...and now, there is a one game playoff for the title... nice drama ... Geez, I can't wait for the event of the year... the Breeder's Cup ...way back at Churchill...and I'll try to find a place to bet the ponies...the cool thing about them, is that any horse can win any race...it's true... You like the America's Cup ?  It's happening here in the bay and it's so interesting to watch...well, it is when your on one of them sail things...we did so a year back and just sailing with the wind power only is awesome... Tonight is our Hallow...

Well, how are you all doing out there in blog land?  It's been a fantastic week for me...albeit, that the Padres are going in a different direction with their GM...as the play station GM left to work with his buddy in Chi-Town...good for everybody!  But not before he was trying to bring in the broken down pitcher Lackey from the Red Sox..who just happened to have Tommy John surgery this week...why with Boston?  Stinks to high heaven, and I'm glad he is way gone...maybe with more money to play with, he can do his thing...not a fan... The bizarre tale of T.O....says he's ready to get back in the NFL...has a workout and nobody came...and then it's said he tried to commit suicide...sad, really... I just can't figure out the GOP...they like one, one week, then the other, the next....and don't think they are sold on Mitt...but who?  Changes daily... Go figure the stock market...is it so fragile that it depends on what happens in Europe?  I thought that China was dr...

I watched the Prez talk on the Jay Leno Show last night...well, look...he can talk with the best of them...and is going to be hard to defeat next year, GOP...so charming and has the "it" factor... So did you know the World Series game 6 was postponed?  Rain in Saint Looey...but it... Snowed in Denver ...what? There is this blog rag (not mine) that picked Alabama and Stanford as the combatants for the BSBCS title game... Survivor tonite...missed last week so in a fog... Chaz out on DWTS...the right move... X Factor ...mildly interesting...hate the banter between the judges... Adrian Gonzalez was quoting the faith he has and how he leaves it up to God to let him win or not... The NBA is teetering on losing the entire season... The latest GOP polls...Romney, Cain, and Newt... I really dig the new show "Revenge" ... We are cold tonight...but are looking at Santa Ana's the rest of the week... LiLo is making money the last way she can do so...

Back when the QB's called their own plays and the emergence of the AFL , there was this star out of Baylor that the Dallas Texans drafted to make their franchise the top of the heap... Francis Marion Davidson ...but, he had a nickname, Cotton ...and he led them to prominence in a fledgling league...ended up getting out of the pros....went into coaching and then...wooah...came back to the league for 7 years for the... Oakland Raiders !  To this day, one of their better ones, right alongside Daryl Lamonica, George Blanda, Kenny Stabler ...and on this date...back in '64, he threw 5 td's in another team's boot of the Broncos ...yeh... As dismal as the Bolts were this past Sunday, they still lead the west...I still think the game smelled...and nobody can tell me differently...next up at KC ...on Monday nite...fav by 3 1/2...what?  Doesn't that seem goofy, too?  Should be 9...I just don't get the NFL.... The collegiate lines are out... the Odd Board , as I call...

The BSBCS ranks have LSU as their top dog...I'm OK with this as they whupped the Duckees to start the season off in Dallas...and have maintained their elite status...I have watched all the candidates and Alabama and Oklahoma St. (my sneaker pick) are the front runners...and how do you judge Boise?  They are good, but...and the Cardinal and Duck game looms large...but...USC invades Palo Alto this weekend and the whole thing could go poof...Clemson?  I see fading out of the mix...Kansas St...may just get in the top eight before it's all over...they score in bunches...not in the BSBCS talk, but how bout them Beavs! Is anyone watching the World Series?  I haven't seen the rankings, but my oh my... The gruesome end of Gadhafi was very difficult to watch... Luke Donald, really? You should read the Trib's take on the deplorable Bolt effort (or lack of) yesterday in Jersey... The Ravens give 10 at Jax this eve...what? The LPGA are in their season ending swing in Taiwan...

Haven't written here since we've had company since Wednesday...and it has been fun, yet I did get to watch some games...1st of all let's get to the BSBCS...Ducks and Stanford climb to 7th and 6th respectively...bout right...bizarre finish (ing) of the Badgers at MSU...and Oklahoma getting upset at home...wow!  Geez, the Bolts got bopped at New Jersey...as I had picked...reluctantly...but, there were crazy happenings...very peculiar stuff...a gaggle of mysterious calls..now I would never say the fix was on...but there is a lot of money bet on these games...and what one earth was going on in the last minute and a half of it?  I'm just saying... I think there is good news on the horizon....the Pads play station GM is going to Chicago to partner up with his old Red Sox boss...still seemed odd that the Padres gave up a lot of AG for a little of nuttin...oh well, maybe brighter moves on the horizon... Well, I plan on getting some quality sleep tonight...
