ZIP ...went the Pads in an embarrassing event in DC...Buditch outdid himself...leaving his starter in to bruise like no other...teach the kid a lesson...Robbie Erlin...as he was getting hammered by the Nationals...and rather than get him out of the situation...he left him in to get a taste of the bigs...let him suffer through 8 earned runs...hey, I know a bunch of the old school managers would do this...save the rest of the arms of the bullpen...in an 11-1 debacle...I find it disgusting and am appalled by the actions...oh yea, and Gyorko struck out 3 times until he finally got a hit...this team has to be on the far end of positive...if you know what I mean...and...what major league team has a .145 hitter batting 4th this late in the season?...you guessed it...the mighty Pads... BOOM ...as the owner of the Clips went over the line...as he brought racial lines back into play...as his comments about not bringing Blacks to his games....well, it's a new low to a guy that sets the ba...

And the train has stopped in the capital city...of the country... Barnum and Bailey ...and we did not disappoint...with plays that a high school coach would get fired for ...inept base running...tumbling outfielding plays on routine balls...failing to bunt when the time is demanded...improper stepping up to the umpire's blown calls...and the list goes on...and get this... the Pads won! ...and not without the tough part of sport...losing some blokes to injury... 3B Headley (hmmm) and LF Smith ...each with muscle type pulls... Headley has gone immediately to the DL , for at least a month...which is NOT necessarily a bad thing...and lordy... 2B Gyorko...is wallowing in a minor league type of play...hitting .132 ...he did get a hit...and scored a big and winning run...but...it was a dreadful single to right...wait..let's take anything from him.... tremendous pitching by the way ...and the guy that usually is in Q, Tim Stauffer, had a great 2 1/3 innings ...maybe I'm too hard on...

In a case of pure dominance... the Portland Trailblazers did the unbettable... beat up the Houston Rockets...in Texas! ...gosh this is great fun...as the normally mild mannered Clark Kent, LaMarcus Aldridge, turns into the real Superman ...not the fake one that the Rockets have, in Dwight Howard...BUT...you know how down I'm on LA...he seems to fade in the stretch...on a regular basis...he has grown my friends...and... PDX takes a 2-0 series lead into the Rose City ...for two... The game itself was old school...as Houston started to go to Howard...exclusively ...and he was tremendous...scored 19 in the 1st Q...but...he got tired...and really left the rest of the Rocket blokes out of it...and for the life of me... if you can find a moment that their other star plays ANY defense, other than grabbing who he is trying to, the bearded wonder (?), James Harden...and lordy, does he not travel a bunch that doesn't get called?... The Blazers spread it around ...but, the 46 and...

In a most dramatical win... the Blazers upset the Rockets in Texas...and the key?... the hack a shaq ...in this case, the hack a turrible shooting center...and get possessions of the ball, when there is no other way...let's get real here...if you are such a star...you need to spend countless hours finding a stroke from 15 feet...it's like a golfer missing a 5 ft putt, nearly EVERY time...OR...getting your coach to bench the bloke, and actually...DO SOME COACHING!...ha ha...in the NBA?...naw...anyway, some very nice critical plays by the two stars of PDX... LA and Lillard ...and the former had 46 points...what?...mega...and Damon carried the team at the end...offensively...very cool and did not see this coming...hip hip... Tonight's game with the Clips and the Warriors should be a beaut...expect a much better one...as the officiating crew has to be better...HAS to be...and the physical play will be fun...if GS can do it again, well, this series will be over...and shocki...

Morning all...I'm talking games for the 2nd day of the NBA playoffs ...well...the 1st 3 games yesterday, were all won by the UNDERDOGS! ...and the Sonics, er Thunder, held serve...a huge day if you are in to betting these bloody things... OK, I am really interested in the Rocket/Blazer game ...as the form looks to be sketchy...I mean...the referees have their own agenda...diff than the regular season...so...maybe PDX has a a chance...and then the Heat...who have stumbled along quite a bit in the last month... will they follow the pattern of the Pacers?... Padres ...well now... won 2 straight against the suddenly powerless Giants ...hmmm...Buster Posey mired in a one for 22 slump....nice!...we got timely hitting again...and the pitching staff had another very good outing...and go for the sweep at noonish today...hip hip... the negative?...we trotted out old broke down Headley at 3B ...and he was, well, turrible...if we must, put him 7th...I digress... the real positive?...Bud...
