One of the things that the state of Cali does is require your vehicles to have a SMOG check every other year...and it's not a cheap prop...and there are shops that only do that...as you can imagine...it's a pain in the arse...so that's what I may do today...booo.... I can't remember the price of registration in Orygun ...here, it is $113 for reg vehicles, and $121 for the SUV...seems like a goodly sum more...am I right?... OK, I have had enough of this "investigative reporting"...as the act supersedes the reaction, right?...the Ray Rice situation...and what the press is doing, is much like Watergate during the Nixon time...seeking out a coverup by the commissioner of the NFL...when he knew, what he knew, how he knew....etc...you get my drift... The bloke gets $44 million to do his job...what?...OMG!...the Prez gets less than a million...and the commish pretty much has full authority to do what he wants...there is no congress to correct him...or impeach him...so the scribes must feel that it's their NFL duty to act as the "other side"... And many of them, are calling for a dismissal...hmmm...let's see...what really is the issue, is what Ray Rice did...what the commish did, is a far cry from the act...and, if anything, the owners...who pretty much pay his bill...need to deal with it...if in fact, he did anything...seems like every day there is more stuff "leaked"...

I would listen to my mom tell stories about the attack on Pearl Harbor...the beginning of WWII for the US...and cringe to think that awful thing could happen to us...and would have nightmares as a little guy...about bombs dropping...weird, huh...and then...it happened...9/11/01... We had just been in the City the week before...only time that we had...as Cris was looking at Dentist Schools...just so happened we had taken a harbor cruise and I took pix of the city...later on I would go thru the camera and see the twin towers...which I eventually made a photo and framed... Morning kids...this isn't a rant against religion or the like...wait, there isn't anything like religion...geez, what's that mean?...anyway...if you are watching a football, baseball, soccer,...er, you are getting my drift...and when some bloke or blokette, hits a homer, or scores a TD, or knocks a goal in... they run off the field and point up to the sky ...right?...so, I am guessing that they are thanking their God for it...right?...but...you don't see them do that when they strike out, or drop a pass, or miss a kick...so...they acknowledge only when something positive happens?...that doesn't seem right...does it?... imagine a player, dropping a pop up...and then pointing to the sky... Or when the opposing football teams and coaches...have a prayer prior to the game...just who does God favor?...I mean, he (or she) must be split on emotions...so, it must be for the ability to play the game...can't be for the outcome... you know, I don't see golfers look...

Let's do this...the imagery of the pro football player, smacking his girl friend...finally hit the airwaves...and repulsed the nation... Ray Rice...is now through with the league...and is fortunate that more stuff isn't coming his way...brutal...and...if you listened to sport's commentator, Keith Oberman, there was a cover up going on by the league...and many involved should be fired...the story is brewing... Breakfast plus booze plus football...ah yes, the life...as we met up with other owners of the fantasy football league I'm in...this time at East Village Tavern...not the shortest walk...but...the place was packed with others...in their NFL gear...and their passion...talk about noise...had to be 20 TV screens, with all the games going at once...and cheers would erupt from nowhere...turn your head to figure what happened... OK, calm down, I'm just a playing on the ridiculous name of the turrible series...however, I did have mighty negative thoughts during the conclusion of the 1st half of the Ducks / Spartan game...didn't you?...the old thinger, momentum, had switched to MSU...and they looked like they were on their way to a big W...which many of the east coast pundits had predicted ... But... BOOM! ...out came Mariota and the revived quack attack ...and an adjusted defense that did not even have a bit of resemblance to that which was laying over in the 2nd quarter...and, according to in attendance Snooki, the loudest it's ever been at Autzen...went from behind at half to a 19 point victor...and, ahem, covered the spread...thanks to an offside penalty in the last minute...but who's paying any attention to the line?...naw...
