CRAZY HORSE

So the NFL wants to clean up the language that the players use on the field...hmmm...no more racial slurs...er, not many call each other redskins...I don't think....but other words are used...referring to the black players....who call each other THAT NAME ...often...it's a brutal sport, kids...and lots of guttural  blurt outs happen...and as mean as you can be, it will be offered...even by the best of the best...it's an outlet for some of them blokes...you have no idea what these guys say...much different from the NBA or MLB...which is so visual and audio friendly...I respect the idea...BUT... until you change the racial "Redskins", this falls out very shallow... In our quest for the perfect food , or foods...we tried the Whole Food's pizza ...eegads, I was paying for it all night...not exactly sure what I ate...but I had a horrible tummy...and actually had to cancel my golf this am...back to the drawing board...probably too much garlic, which tears me...

This day will always be about our 35th President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy ...how he was taken from us...regardless of whom...or by how many...the fact that he was the essence of our country ...here and abroad...so sad... I know, I have covered this the other day....but... CNN did a couple of extensive shows on the murder...and how Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone killer...believe it if you want...but there was one eery clip they had in the Dallas Jail on Saturday the 23...as chaos reigned down on that area...and the press was interviewing the Sheriff...and in the foreground, milling about...none other than the next day killer, Jack Ruby ...very peculiar... Read a bit about what it was like down here in SD ...as per usual, all sporting events were either canceled or postponed... JFK was just here at SDSU...and like most places, endeared...and one thing that caught my eye...the border was closed down...hmmm... Thanks to those of you who commented on my apparent decline in awaren...

Well, not THAT one...but, still it is a good Friday... WOW!, it's Thursday! ... thanks Leila, for the correction ...morning kids...as we get ourselves up this fine am...and guess what?...it is raining here in SD...what?...yup, it does that here, too...for those PNWers...got to get out and play golf yesterday and didn't get hit by this wet stuff...my mid irons were off, or I'd a had a very good one... There were a whole gaggle of NBA games last eve...and cuz I have the NBA Package , I watched parts of many...the entire state of NY, has bad teams, very bad...I don't know why that humors me, but it does...NOBODY talks about the SA Spurs, who only have one loss thus far...and the mighty PDX Blazers have got their streak to 8!...as they finished their road trip in Milwaukee...the Bucks could be the worst team in the history of the recent version of the league...oh my...and the Clips were at the very tough Rick Adelman's Minnnnneeeesssooota Wolves....and CP111 took ove...

Occasionally Crazy Horse touches a nerve...a very hot topic for many conservatives...enough for a couple of people to say that they would never read my blog again...what?...well, they told me so on Facebook...and yup, they were gone, baby, gone...and I have been a naysayer about the former VP, Evil Dick Cheney ...for a gaggle of reasons...his behind the scene maneuvering of this country through the Iraq Debacle...and his involvement in the country's other police force abroad, Haliburton run...mercenaries...the list goes on and on...and now...again... his view on same sex marriage... He has had to skirt the issue for some time...because... he has  a daughter that is Lesbian ...and got married...and he came on strong forever, as an opponent of such a thing...and then changed his opinion...and said he welcomed the new addition to their family...hey, this is a private thing...and good for him and them...BUT... politics has got in the way... He has another daughter...straight ......

Last summer we had the chance to watch the great "original" Beach Boys perform...out at the Sleep Center in Chula Vista...at least, the ones that are still living...and it was a magical night...it was their 50th Reunion...and they actually had released a CD of new stuff, that had some great tracks ... "That's Why God Made The Radio" , their feature...which, at the time got me thinking about... 50 years ago... They released an album (it is what it was then) called "Little Deuce Coupe" in October of 1963...I think but a month after issuing "Surfer Girl"...striking while the fire is hot...who would guess that they would last as long as they have... I was but a lad of 16...a believer of pretty much every thing that an adult told me...which in that genre meant everyone older than 18...ha ha...and certainly a politician...which, I never, ever, paid much attention to....or watched on TV...which I never, ever watched....too busy being a kid.....

Marvin Gaye ...but that's not the same meaning I have for the phrase...I mean it's the WILD WILD WEST! ... the Pac 12 turned itself up, back, around, and down...as the lovely USC Trojans did the unthinkable, upset the Stanford Cardinal...did NOT see that coming...coupling that with the Ducks methodical V over the Utah "Utes" ( I guess that's better)...and UO has the path to the north Pac 12 Title....capitalize north?...and Zona , must have been caught looking ahead to the Duckees, as they got beat by the lame Cougs...what?...and the Beavs ...well...lost to a better team in the Sun Devils...sorry OSU fans, but it's true... Well now, this is good for the local scene, but destroys the league nationally... and fuggit about a BSBCS title chance ...so make the best of it...and (UO), finish things off right at Arizona and at home, vs the Beavs...and you get a PAC 12 Title game with ?...prob ASU?...still a lot of work to do...
