The Electoral College ...yup, that one...meets on Monday to do the formality part of the vote for Prez...there are those Demos that are holding out that there will be a revolt...and the members of it, will change their ballot over to Hillary...nope, won't happen...it would be the coup of all time for this country and deem this constitution, worthless...get over it...the USA doesn't want her as Prez...12 years of rejection should suffice... As we near the day of... Christmas ...I'm going to take you all on a mini-autobiography... a mini-auto , if you will...what has made me tick...over this almost 7 decades of celebration of the day ...well, at least the season...what inspired me to do this?...what I wrote about yesterday... Dolly Parton's view on 'Being home for Christmas '.... My parents were teachers out at a boarding school in Oregon...that was established by the Federal Government for 'Indians' ...starting back at least in the early 1900's...the concept was to make them 'Indians' more like, er be like, the conquerors...white...in fact, my parents were products of the schools themselves...here's the rub...I didn't know I was an 'Indian' , too...they never talked about it...and I didn't ask... The employees of the school all had housing available for them...I'm sure at a great rate...and most everybody who worked there, lived there ...it was a great p...

Think alike ...one thing about the Xmas season , it goes so fast...whenever I drive out to the course, I have to be THE one that listens to Christmas music ...love love love it...makes me feel good...and the intro to Dolly Parton's 'I"ll Be Home For Christmas' , is a 5 star choke upable...you MUST find it and listen...also a time to think about the parents and all...maybe the family thinger...and yes, of course, Happy Birthday to our son...Dr Cristopher Allan Joseph Shepard... He got the 4 names , just like me...and they are the same...why?...well, I was to be a Jr...my dad thought better of it, and added Peter...in Cris's case, my dad was Allan and Marsha's dad was Joseph...so we put them in his middle ...there you go....so when Cris and Leila have a baby...it can be ____AJ Shepard, too....but, it's up to them...ha ha...duh...I am not announcing anything...it's just a thought, kids... Morning, kids...I'm in the middle of back to back days at the course...getting ready for a T this Saturday...me bum thumb?...the same...but, I just release the hand at impact...works OK...if you are asking... This is an exceptional week for us...as during this time, 36 years ago...our son was born...which changed our lives forever...for the good...with that said, we wish our son, Dr Cris , the best birthday wishes ... we look forward to being with he and Leila for Christmas ... Who was that team in PDX last night?...looked nothing like the mess that they were on the road...as they had a super team effort in defeating the Thunder (Soopersonics)...BTW, the star of that team, Russell Westbrook...is a bonafide specimen...but also a jerk...has to be a lot of fun coaching him...similar, but a bit diff...is Boogie...from the Kings...oh yea, GS survived in New Orleans...you know, everyone gives their best effort agains the Warriors...which is cool...and fun to watch...you have th...

You know...I have been like real serious the past few days...way too serious...there are a few directions you can go on a daily basis... frown and make everyone around you, down ...or, smile, and be infectious ...a lot of it has to do with how your body feels, too...but, it's not everyone else's problem, now, is it... so let's make a pack today ... cheer everyone else up ... I think about this, when we were at a party the other night...most of whom we did not know...I think...of course, there were some...why would we be there otherwise, right?... I saw this pair of peops that were in the area where no one was mingling ...and normally, I would just note that...I did otherwise... I went over and started up a conversation ...turned out they were quite interesting...and were high school buds of the host... My point is this ...we don't take the time to branch out of our shells, much...maybe you do...we have a number of these types of things this month....right?... m...

Just to make your mind go back a bit...like to the late 80's ...when the banks...ie, Savings & Loan companies...were filled with money making schemes...that many were not legal...'Junk Bonds' and the like...where they used $ from the investors for other means than 'investing'...and, the companies went bankrupt...and the people who had their money in 'em...lost it all...many were retirees.... Anyway, one of these was the Lincoln S&L ...headed by this dude, Charles Keating ...who found a way to escape the eyeballs of the Federal Regulations Board...by donating large sums of money to some key Senators ...who, then would meet with the Fed Brd, to influence it to drop any charges on Keating...he  so blatantly replied to a question that about whether his tactic would work, "I certainly hope so" ...or words to the effect... One of these Senators , was the Vet out of Arizona... John McCain ...calling it one of his biggest mistakes of his life.....
