Like I had a bit of a premonition... Pop , alias the coach of the San Antonio Spurs... directed his team to an OT win at LA ...using his depth to get er done...the major difference between the 2 squads...still, the Clip Show , had the game won ...and Griffin, their stud PF, dribbled the ball away ...eegads, what a nonchalant act, with the game in the balance in the last few seconds...one of them games that you don't get back... big advantage for Pop ...so says me... In the baseball world... the Pads closers couldn't close ...as the O came from behind...yet again...and were ahead 4-3 in the 8th...gave up a dinger...game tied...and then used the oft ripped Kelly ...in the 9th...bad idea...we have better in AAA...and then we had a bit of Buddy Ball ...crazy schemes...one out, runners on the corners...and we intentionally walk the next guy...what?...the stage was set for a DP...and Colorado sent up a lefty...we should be countering with our lefty...nope, not Buddy...he mis-sign...

So what do you do when your star point guard, fails to show up...so to speak...and plays as if he doesn't care...or, gives much less than he is capable...or just POUTS! ...as what it appears that the Mav's PG did last eve in their loss to the Rockets...and finally, the coach had to sit him ...and go with a back up replacement...bizarre...is there bad blood?...happened after the player got his 4th foul (out of 6)...and he never returned to the game ...post game questions?...the coach sloughed them off...in this day and age, you'd think you'd never see it in the bigs... very disappointing... Did you see the cruise ship having to deal with 30 foot waves?...eegads...some vacation, huh... Or the Orygun farmer convicted of killing men, and serving the bodies to pigs! ...oh my, really?...reminds me of the HBO Series, "Deadwood"...really?... In this day and age of sports, all one says and does is in a FISHBOWL ...you think that you can go to Vegas and whatever happens there, stays there...not...NOT!...the advent of the cell phone cameras, is the "truth"...think back to the times before...the Sinatras and Kennedys...oh my, you could list many, I am sure... If you are famous, for whatever reason, someone...yes... SOMEONE will film you...just ask the NHL boyfriend of the nasaly Erin Andrews...not only filmed, but arrested...some drug talk...er, incident...and we are not talking about paparazzi...just ordinary folk...recognizing and snapping... The Pads had a laugher in their 1st game in Colorado...scored 9 in the 1st 2 innings...and off they went to a big W...this is the real deal, kids...of course, expect a one run game today...always happens after a big score, the day prior...always... Morning kids...hope you have a great week planned... the Pads are in Colorado for a 4 game set...fresh off of another series win in Chi-Town...very cool...not the best of baseball, but somehow found a way to win... Two dingers did the trick...and some decent pitching...and off we go... the Rockies have been getting slammed on the road ...and I'm sure they are happy to be back home...if you go by who does what to whom, the Colorado hurler has more success than the SD's...when the teams meet in the Rockies...well... this is a DIFFERENT team for sure ...we'll see... The round one of games are done for the NBA blokes ...and the good? ... the Clip Joint dominated the Spurs ...hmmm...as they played as well as I've seen...however, the 2nd unit was terrible...partly cuz the  2nd group of SA is dang good...almost as strong as their 1st one... the bad? ... the odious Blazers ...who looked anything like a playoff team versus the Grizzlies ...Aldridge scored a lot...sho...

OK, it's time to get your NBA playoff fix...for the next month and a half...they started up yesterday...and mostly went by script...the exception was that the Wizards (yes) beat Toronto in OT...the other?...that Golden St struggled against New Orleans...inside play...hmmm...maybe I'm off on a sweep...today the Blazers vs Memphis...and yup, I have continually bad mouthed the PDX coach...still do...the Grizzlies in a rout... The Hawaii gals T ...where it came down to OT...and the South Korean kid holed out from the fairway for an eagle!. ..does that country not dominate the ladies?...I mean, really!...why is that?... The guys are in South Carolina ....where another non-winner appears to be breaking through...the blokes are all over the map...nobody dominates, nor does a country...well, maybe the US...hmmm...maybe not...that's called waffling, my friends...
