The House of Blues ...hosted the one and only... Zombies ...OK, you may not remember them...led by Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent ...and believe me, they can still sing and perform...well, really well...and their bassist was with them from the beginning, too...the little guy on the left in the pix...he also was with the Kinks for like 15 years... The tix we bought also included a meet and greet the artists...so yes, we met and had a pix taken with the two...nice guys...about my age, I reckon... My oh my, Colin can still wail ...and the songs like Time of the Season, Tell Her No, Hold Your Head Up, and the most famous of them all, She's Not There ...were done masterfully....and like they did, ah hem, 50 years ago... Too bad the Philly team got whipped by the Vegas team in the LLWS...and not a good outing for MoNe ...it's OK...as, like the blokes from Around The Horn say... at their age, the loss should be followed by a bowl of ice cream...and move on... The Pads got ...

Hey... YOU! ..yes You...how is everything going?...a feel good story about the Little League WS ...the Philly team has a star pitcher...no big deal, right?...as to get there, you have to have at least one...the exception this time is...the hurler is a GIRL! ...what?... MoNe ...eegads, she has one name...ONE NAME!...this is way cool...and the team is on the tube, with her on the mound today...you have to catch it...I have seen her throw, and she is a good one...the times are a changing... Don't tell that to those peops in Mizzou ...as the demonstrations are right out of the 60's...and the items of concern are the same thing...I hope calmer heads prevail... I hate to connect this, but the death of the reporter in Iraq is deplorable and inexcusable...and the way that some people deal with life is inhuman...how do we handle this situation?...is it an eye for an eye?... Moving into the debacle in Cleveland ...with the immature Johnny Football...his backlash continues...imagin...

Morning kids...chances are you never heard of the town Ferguson, prior to the unrest there in the past two weeks...it's a suburb of Saint Looey...which has grown to be more than 67% African-American...a relatively small community...home to the lead singer of the Doobie Bros, Michael McDonald...well, that's where he was born...BUT...this town is packing a powerful punch into our media show...as an unarmed Black, was shot 6 times...and died thereof...by a White policeman... the people there have had it...and are demonstrating against their claims of racial profiling... And for the last few nights, the police and law enforcement sections of the area have banded together to quell any disturbances...they are there in case things get out of hand...so far, I am giving a pro-police type of scenario of the happenings... Last night I was watching 3 stations covering the problem...CNN, Fox, and MSNBC...and the visual was dangerous, scary, and bewildering...all at the same time...one...

So one of my golfing buddies, who I have been playing with for like 3 years now...finally asked what I did for a living...and when I told him, he laid on me "that's why you are always debating me" ...from the other side...let's just see what's been going on with some of your latest repub Prez candy men...like the Gov Perry from Texas...think that his legal probs in his own state won't come back to haunt him?...or your gurl, Sarah , her absurd rants about, well everything...just subdue her to a Fox forever girl...and no more than that...and Guv Christie , he who has been dealing with all of his bridge gates...fuggit about him...I keep asking, who you got cooking for your side?...I don't see it... Can you tell much from the pre-season games in the NFL? ...if you  can, you (Bolt's fans) should be real worried about the defense that is in place...hopefully, there are guys that are being rested...cuz what's on the field is turrible...the LB's a...
