Doesn't happen often in the NBA...a SWEEP! ...in the finals...as the Golden State Warriors proved their dynasty is amongst us...their 3rd out of the last 4 seasons ...and proved once again, that team play USUALLY prevails...terrific ball and player movement...as good as defense is played in that league, too...but, as most fans do, people just follow the ball...and that's just fine...however, the Warriors do the 'behind the ball' stuff that few other NBA squads...do... Kev Durant and Steph Curry carried the load from the outside, which opened up the beautiful passing inside...then, GS took turns on controlling LeBron ...especially Iggy and KD ...there you go... the Title ... It was divulged after the game, some 45 minutes or so, that LeBron had a hurt right wrist ...that he messed up after the colossal game one loss in Oakland...he banged it on the 'whiteboard'...'it could have been broken'...but, he wanted to let everyone know, that he played on...

Game number 4 in the NBA Finals ...and it could be the last of the set...as the Cleveland Cavs have to find a way to get a victory...adjust their defense, to throw confusion in the eyes of them Warriors...in lieu, I mean by Ty Lue (the Cav HC), er, trying the doubling of Durant...may lead to easy buckets to the ever efficient motion O that Golden St uses...sooooo...listen Ty, double some, fake it some, put LeBron on KD some...mix it up...and then hope beyond hope, that Curry and Thompson are clanging their shots...and...then they have to get the calls...ALL the calls... hmmm, let's not go there... Oh yea...the all telling point spread on the game?...4 1/2, the LOWEST of the series... Shocking news out of France...the very popular cooking...

Thanks to the infamous duo of my generation, Sonny and Cher ...for the blog title today...yes, saw them in concert way back in the 60's at the Salem (Oregon) Armory ...as they sang one of the classics... 'I Got You Babe' ...to this day, one of my all time favorites... Game 3 in the NBA Finals ...talk about the beat going on ...as the Warriors won it, and are threatening an unheralded SWEEP! ...this was done, as Curry was having a dreadful nite shooting the rock...missed as many 3 balls, as he made just a few days before...I was shouting at the screen, 'QUIT SHOOTING!' ...but... Kev Durant was having an awesome game...pretty much carrying the team...with dagger after dagger. ..ie, a monster 3 pointer, eerily similar to the one he hit in LAST year's final... But ...one must question defensive strategy by the Cavs ...who were doubling up on Curry...and, as the game wore on...were successful in taking his points away...but, you MUST make in game adjustments ....

The norm in the NBA is to win at home ...in the Finals, that theory can become tricky...this is a best of 7 set...of course, the longer the match goes, the more the interest...and the pixel stations lurve it ...like in this case, if the team with the home court advantage...the one with the better regular season record...Golden State...wins the first 2 games in Cali, which they did...puts huge pressure on the team, 0-2, them Cavs, to win at their site in Ohio...I suppose all this I just said, is common knowledge and petty... However, there is a way to change momentum in sport ...and that is to win convincingly! ...happened back in the day...way back, when the Portland Trailblazers won their ONLY crown ...down 2 and they won game 3 in Orygun...and turned it all around against the highly favored Dr J's Philly 76ers...our leader was the infamous, Bill Walton ...gosh, that was a great time for the city, state and the beloved followers... Back to now ...the 'analysts' are...

Had a skip day , as I went a golfing yesterday...early tee time, like 7:19...actually fun to get back out there...hope the miss, didn't screw up your daily routine...soooo... grab yourself a cup of Joe, or tea, or whatever you drink, while we talk together ...let's get it on... POTUS's latest attorney, Rudy Guliani , was a guest on the 'new' Cuomo Show...politics and the like...hmmm, well, pretty much only that...and sure enough, I think he just may be from the Demo side of things...Rudy took some tough Q's and danced around them beautifully...like a good lawyer can do...talk...of course, the key question was about whether or not, Trump can REALLY pardon himself ...back in the Watergate days, the then DOJ ruled that the President COULD NOT! ...sorry to Richard Milhouse Nixon , but that was the end of your time in the White House ...how is it different now, I ask you?...the underlying is just why are we talking about this, anyway?...what is imminent?... Morning, ya'll...we've been having some awesome weather. ..finally...as we went over to Petco for a Padre game...last nite ...in shorts and tees...well, in Padre jersey attire...so NICE!...top it off, that the boys played well, and won it 8-2 ...let's get going... Game number 2 in the NBA finals...the point spread is 11 1/2! ...take the Cavs and them points...geez...there is a good, er bad, chance that Klay Thompson will be out ...after the cheap shot hit by J.R., took Klay's leg out...and he has a high ankle sprain...had them, and it is a no no to move...'game time decision' is the last I heard...and Iggy is out again...just adds up to a close game, and all the Cleveland blokes are ready to go....because of all that, TAKE the points ...watch, that, too...the spread may drop... Tiger was the feature of the Golf Channel, as he moved UP the leader board at the Memorial...I had to go, and missed his final 3 holes...where he gave back a couple of strokes.....
