Wasn't there a clown called 'Chuckles'??? ...well, good morning, kids...the weekend is a happening...DC has itself a new conservative Judge, imminently...the beisbol playoffs are going to form...Xmas stuff are in stores already...and today, is Game Day...let's go... The Kavanaugh hearings are done...culminated by the 'in doubt' Repub out of Maine...who got her national claim to fame, her 15 minutes...Susan Collins...in a well orchestrated speech of but a mere 45 minutes on the Senate floor...doing her dangest to show her support for Brett K...that no other has spelled out as well as she did, well, no Republican...and basically, called the accuser, Dr Ford, a LIAR!...under oath, mind you... I dunno, kids...somebody had to be lying...either Dr Ford or Brett K...and whatever the FBI came up with...that was mysteriously kept in the vault...didn't condemn anyone, I guess...seems odd that the two in question...were not interrogated, er interviewed by the FBI,...

Morning, kids...how's the week been for ya'?...here at the home front, we have finally settled in...adjusted to the time zone and all...the little lady has been working all hours and me?...yes, still between jobs ...it's been like purnt near 17 years or so...the right one hasn't come along... Back in DC...the vote on the Kavanaugh Confirmation is to take place today...our 100 Senators have his fate at their disposal...call me the eternal OPTIMIST , but I am holding out for some crossover voting...and making Trump go back to the drawing board...the REALIST in me, sees that the Republicans will be afraid of the backlash of that, and will be intimidated into staying on party lines...he WILL be confirmed, until....the mid-terms...when the Democrats take back the Senate...there you go, OPTIMISM over REALISM ...and then, the present regime will face that nasty term... IMPEACH ...stay tuned for the November vote... Tom 'Terrific' Brady threw his 500th touchd...

You KNOW my fear, that the FBI would be tainted in their investigation of the Kavanaugh Confirmation...by Trump ...alas, the report is done...and released to the White House and the Senators, who will vote on whether or not the bloke gets in to the Supreme Court...and confidently, Donny has let out that there was no corroboration to the stories that the accusing ladies had ....there you go, why do the Senators need to read the report?... This entire process has been an eye opener ...makes me wonder that it should be altered to mimic what the individual states do for their Supreme Court Judges...that is, to have a vote of the people to get in to the office...just like any other, let's say...Presidency...in lieu of the Senate voting for US...what is the fear?...same thing that the country did at it's infancy...did not trust the vote of the common man, thus, the need for the Electoral College... So there you go...we did see our Republic in action...well, as this regime...

Morning, kids...a bit later tee time, er, 8am...so, I have some moments to write to ya'll...and my mind can't get off of the debacle in the White House...just what is HE saying and doing now?...on the road, to try to HELP the Repubs for the upcoming Mid-terms...as you know, he is a goner, if the Demos win the Senate...and the word IMPEACH will dominate the rest of his time in office...so, there you go, why he is where he is...totally self serving and preserving... Trump ...recall my wish was that he just take a week off...say or Tweet NOTHING?...nope, he can't do it...and in his speech at a Mississippi rally...he actually mocked the first accuser of Kavanaugh, Dr Ford...has this bloke no shame?...obviously not...couple that with his acknowledgment that he didn't know Brett Kavanaugh that well...which usually means in the Donny world, that he is about to be fired...weird stuff, huh...out of both sides of his mouth...of course, his talk can be very 'off the cuff...

So, I am back on track...at least for now...we certainly have the FBI in our sights...as they are investigating the pieces to the Kavanaugh puzzle ...right?...without any Trump interference, we all hope...an unbiased search for the truth...with the next possible Supreme Court Judge in the balance... One name that has popped up, back in K's days at Yale...in his alleged heavy drinking times...in college...listen, that part happens...as one gets of age...is none other than a hoopster from there... Chris Dudley! ...who later went on to be a part of the Portland Trailblazers...yes, that one...gosh, he couldn't shoot a lick...a big guy...6'10', I believe...and a legendary horrific FT clanger...45%...then, get this, kids...actually ran for GUV of the state of Orygun!...I can't make this stuff up...well, he is a big supporter of K... Did you catch any of the Monday Nite NFL game last eve?...remember when those were 'can't miss' events?...we would gather...

Let's rock in October , OK?!...I'm a little late today, as I had an early, make that way early, tee time...7:19...which means I leave the Q at 6:19...yup...and it was great to get out to Sycuan and fire the ball at the sticks...and after playing in Maui, I have a new appreciation for the course I belong to ...simply terrific... The highlight of the day, is the MLB playoffs ...where both of the winners in the NL move on...and the losers face each other in the wild card game...I think that's how it goes...but Cinderella beat da Cubbies...the Brew Crew...I do like 'em...in the later game, the Bums are handling Buddy's Rockies...so, it will be Colorado at Chicago...probably, unless the roof falls off in LaLa Land... How is your FF team doing?...unfortunately, the Horse is wallowing in last...already...ofer, still...and me bench is the worst ever...however, I loved the close of the Titans and the Eagles...a stellar performance by QB Mariota...and Tennessee won in...

We have returned...2 weeks in paradise, as it is rumored... Maui ...gosh, it is as close to it, as one can imagine...couple with the kids, joining us...well, it was a grand time...only had one crazy weather day...the rest were beautiful, albeit muggy...well, let's go... Did read 3 books while on the vacay...but the majority of down time was probably spent just like ya'll did...watching the spectacle in DC ...the confirmation hearings of Kavanaugh ...the 'she said, he said' dilemma...depending on YOUR party persuasion, you probably lean toward that side of things...right?... My take?...which I have said all along... Kavanaugh is there because he sides with the non-indictment of the President...however, his testimony showed an awful side of him...gone was the notion of fair and impartial judgments that we all need for the Supreme Court...his temperament was undeniable...and really, disgusting...and let there be no doubt he will side with the conservatives...
