It's getting to look a lot like...wait, that's gone and past...oops...it's the next phase...getting to look a lot like a NEW YEAR! ...the next one... 2019 ...hard to rhyme with that...so, I won't try...you one of them peeps who attempt the resolution thanger?...yea, me too....lasts about 2 weeks, and I resort to whatever I have been doing prior to Xmas...it's the truth... Wonder how the Witch is feeling right now?... the Demos take over the House in a week or so. ..and they will be coming after him big time ...apparently, he is bunkered down in the White House...will forego his golf trip to Miami...and stay on until the Shut Down ends...as one of his 'followers' said on the pixels, 'we will stay in the Shut Down, until Hell freezes over'. ..hmmm, that dude is drinking the Kool Aid, don't you think?... 'or until we get the money for the Trump Wall' ... Me son asked me a Q, 'what is the best team in the NBA right now?' ...I h...

If you want a pixel version to what is going on in the southern US border...catch the last episode of Madam Secretary ...it's a 2 parter...now, listen kids, it is tele, but, still, very powerful...really, it is a must see...and this leads up to the blog headline of the day... Trump Threatens ...more innocuous Tweets from the bloke... He will close the southern border , if he doesn't get the money for HIS WALL ...the antiquated method of showing separation with Mexico...wait, think about this... if it takes just a referendum from him to seal the border, then why does he need a wall? ...he has his blockade already... It really is hard to watch, read, and hear what he has to say ...everyday...make that every day...an embarrassment to this country that will take too long to recover from, when he leaves, or is shown the White House door ...and that can't happen soon enough.... The Market ...the last 2 days have been remarkable!. ..it's trying...

Each and every year, the Kennedy Center Honors some legendary artists...usually in the presence of the acting President...sure, not this time...HE was not in attendance...but 3 of the honored I recognized...the authors of the play 'Hamilton' , the country sanger, Reba McIntire , and the gal who has done it all, singer, movie actress, and a thespian... Cher ...the other two, I did not... Wayne Shorter and Philip Glass ...out of my genre... The gig is to have others play their music...to 'HONOR' them...it is quite cool and very classy...hence, Donny not being there...I digress...there were some wonderful renditions of the songs that made these people so warranted...from Kelly Clarkson to Brooks and Dunn to Little Big Town to Cyndi Lauper ...but the best of the best was the Cher song 'Believe' performed by Adam Lambert ...which even brought tears to the eyes of Cher...you MUST hear it...haunting... As I was a writing yesterday, I normally have my fill of ...

Morning, kids...how was your Christmas?...ours was wonderful...yes, the anticipation of the grandson is beyond compare ...diminishes anything else...however, one of the things we did while they were here, is to go to the new movie complex in the Gaslamp...called 'The Theater Box' ...which features many different options from the old movie house... Probably the first thing that catches one's eyes, is that you pay for and reserve your very own seat. ..like you would do at a concert...or game...then, your seat...is a recliner...with 1st class amenities ...with service included... order from your seat ...food and drinks, as well as the norm, popcorn and soft drinks...if you are still an old fuddy duddy, you can still buy them at the counter... The screen is larger and the number of seats is smaller ...and the prices for them are seemingly cheaper...I dunno, like $10 each...so, it is smart that you reserve yours (via your smart phone), early, as they go quickly...we were...

Surprise!...I have some time this am to write a bit... Merry Christmas! ...well, Christmas Eve ...we are all together and it is wonderful...as I am listening to probably the best of the Xmas music of them all, by Johnny Mathis ...I can still see in me mind him singing last year at this time...priceless... pictured here is what I arose to ...makes you festive?...sure... How about the ending to that NFL game yesterday...which had loads of scoring and was the deciding factor to our Fantasy Football playoffs, too...ha ha...as me son's team won it ...as the Saints had to come alive and beat the Steelers...gosh, it was a great one to watch...couple that with the Horse, needing a WR of NOrleans to have a big game, to WIN the toilet bowl, the battle to NOT finish last...and you got it, I am number 9!... The playoff teams are still not set...which makes next weeks games a plus...I'm holding out for the mighty Titans to slip in...have to beat Indy (the same record) and get lucky...

As our mini fam finally reconnects , the Horse will cease and desist for a few days...actually, we are canceling our trip to Mir-a-Lago ....gonna give the greens a chance to weather the beating that I give them...and stay at the SD House the entire vacay....the wife is already there, but is, in transit back here...WAIT!...what am I talking about?... it must be a dream (nightmare) that I am thinking about...got my story all messed up... Truth is, the kids are to be here and life will be grand ...celebrate the Holidays the way we should...and I will not be writing for a few days...yes siree Bob, Merry Christmas ... The initial bit on sarcasm, was in reference to Donny and his cancelation of his trip to Florida ...that he is going to stay in DC, to muddle up whatever he hasn't already. ..rest assured, kids...there is more he can do...and sure, he unleashed a lot of Tweets after me blog posting yesterday...the one that caught my fancy, was in reference to the resignation of ...
