Morning, kids.    The Horse is in the great state of Hawaii!...Aloha...listen, the prep is unbelievable....covid test, downloading 3 apps...none more important than the Hawaii safe travels one....the screening....the after arrival screening...let alone the 6 hour flight...I will say Alaska Airlines does it right... High 70s, which is perfect....and I might add, have never seen so many people at where we are staying...Snooki ordered  the rig back when, which saved boucoup bucks... With my flight pills, the Horse can fly purnt near anywhere! So have been pretty outta the loop...did see that the mighty Padres won game 1 vs them Saint Looey dudes...how?....we are full of subs... The cars on the highway!...this island of Maui is slammed...this is May, right? We have been coming here for 20 years, never seen it like this... The war in the Israel/Palestine region is devastating! ...I have written about it the past 2 days...but, the reality is, it has hit the streets...is not going away, but, indeed, ESCALATING! ...think about the past year, throughout the world, and now we have this...is it not always over the battle for land?...the wars of the past, as some country wants to overtake another's...history does repeat itself... Where are YOU on this? ...it appears that the major powers (?) are sitting back and just observing...assuming that the USA and Russia are whom I am referring to...as both have major interest in the region... Moving on... The Repubs did show their unity in ousting Liz Cheney in a closed door meeting...this sort of thing, always bothers me...as to why would they want to hide the process?...these people have been 'voted in' to do their job...re...

The battle lines are drawn...and I don't see a back off...who is right and who is wrong? ...as Israel and Palestine, their feud has turned deadly ... no longer just 'skirmishes' but on the lines of all out war ...this is my commentary follow up to yesterday's blog post... can there ever be peace in the region? ... I doubt it ...think of what is there...Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and well, you get the picture...add on the combustible nation of Israel...so much different than the rest of them....and, our presence in the region... Why are we there? ...duh...the two reasons... oil and our forever faith and promise to help Israel ...do YOU have an answer?...no USA regime, Democrat or Republican, has had one...as we wallow in near war most every single day... On the home front, the Repubs have continued their harassment of the 3rd in command, so to speak, Liz Cheney ...as she talked to the House yesterday....blazing, well, lambasting the trump and his so call...

The Middle East ... always a hotbed...right? ...well, it's back at it again...this time between Israel and Palestine ... yes, again ...ever since the country was formed there, Israel has been a thorn to the Palestinians. ..right after the Second World War...er, WWII...as the Jewish nation was abandoning Europe, with a home to search...as the Germans were set to annihilate the people...you know all this... Did you know the US blocked a ship of them from coming into our land?...as they were in exploration for a place to live... 900 passengers of the M.S. St. Louis...1939 ...which also tried to land in Cuba, to no avail...as they were trying to evade the inevitable in Germany, by Hitler's Nazis... the ship then rerouted back to Germany...where a third of them were killed...and the rest were interned into concentration camps there...you can imagine their fate... Point is, that the Jewish people have since become very strong willed ...and since basing themselves in the piece of...

There will be days like this...My Mama Said ...as we all wish our mamas a very happy 'Happy Mother's Day' ...the stories that we all could tell... this passage of life, bears too much pain and sorrow ... how we took for granted HER , when she was still with us ...dang it all, if yours is still living, show her what she deserves...and treat her well...
