CRAZY HORSE

Not sure how this is going to come out...it's a major deal to police religious wars...and honoring commitments is just that...regardless, Prez O has authorized AIR STRIKES on militants in Iraq...a place we just can't stay out of...and threats of mass executions, like humanitarian type...has this as a warranted action...the US Conservatives, ah hem, the repubs, are pleased...correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they always trying to send our troops in everywhere?...I guess this is a necessary evil... Look throughout the world...there is unrest...many fronts...and all very disturbing...where is everyone getting their ammo?...somebody is making a mint...just another way of looking at it... We are lucky we are not in Maui right now...it's a month away...2 storms hitting the islands back to back...I'm sure we will hear stories...actually saw blokes on the waves as the storm hit...surfers, dudes, far out man... Did watch the Bolts ...and I liked what I saw......

The PGA ...ah yes, the last major of the season...and the high drama?... whether or not Tiger was playing ...and there were a whole gaggle of peops lining the course...on a practice day, Wednesday...he is a spectacle...odd, seeings that he treats his admirers like crap...I digress... It's in Kentucky...and we don't get to see it until 10...TBS or TNT, I get 'em confused...boo...so there you go... The Pads hired a new GM...a  bloke from the Texas Rangers...hmmm...and the 3 headed interim guys are getting out of dodge...he's 37...and the latest trend in this type of job...the young guns...I will hold my judgment until he does something... The Bolts host the Cowboys in the 1st extra season game....no Romo...boo...and I am mildly interested...it's the pro's...kids...they all run the same stuff...with some minor exceptions...TG, we don't have Norv calling the shots... The toughest work?... Sec of St Kerry's ...now in Afghanistan...trying to figure...

You know who this is? ...well, if you are NOT a follower of the WBNA, probably not...she was voted one of the top 15 of all time players in the pro league...nearing the end of her career, she has been dabbling in the coaching field in the off season... Becky Hammon ...CSU grad...and on a number of the pro teams in the league...well... she has been a volunteer coach for...get this...the men's league...the San Antonio Spurs ...what?...just seems like she has impressed the innovational head coach there ....the one and only Gregg Popovich ...widely acclaimed as the best in the biz...at least right now...and it's always about now, right?... Guess what?... Pop hired her as part of his staff ...the first gal ever in a paid spot in the NBA...now this is way cool...and highly deserved.... Which begs the question... "Do you have to play in the league to coach in it?". ..many of the best haven't, guy or gal... it's all about smarts ...and how you pick up on the ...

The PGA Championship ...in Kentucky... Valhalla GC ...back in one of my schools that I taught at...were the Vikings ...and I put up a board for highlights of our kids...called it Valhalla...kind of cool...anyway... Who is the fav?...got to think it's Rory ...duh...starts up Thursday...and one thing of course to look at...what's the weather?...this area, this time of the year, can be a huge factor... The final major of the year...albeit, it's a Ryder Cup one...which means this doesn't end here... On the other hand... Tiger ...is through...he pulled out of the T, with a bad back...and with his demeanor to the adoring fans...well, he's no Lefty in that department... Speaking of Phil ...where did that round come from?...a masterful 62...he still has the ability...I just don't think he can do it for 4 rounds...I'd lurve to be proven wrong... Finally, yes, finally a book that is intriguing me...will be out on Tuesday...written by a professor from Amherst...tales about the occupation of France during the 2nd World War by the Germans...how the collaboration worked...and the need to survive...hmmm...called "When Paris Went Dark". ..hope it's on Nook...ah hem...pre-ordered it...$8.99... Have you read "Unbroken" yet?...absolutely spell binding...and a movie is being made of it...will knock your socks off... I can't think of any John Grisham book I didn't like... I just can't imagine reading the novel, wait, nonfiction one by Hillary, "Hard Choices" ... And the absurd, Abby Lee Miller ...you know, the Dance Moms luny....she is signing this week at Coronado...have to get over there...NOT!...
