Hi, kids, I am back from the golf getaway...something like that...where the apparent closure of golf courses continues...as the site that we normally play in Borrego Springs ...did just that... the Resort ...that will try to continue on, without the golf...the restaurant and the hotel...hmmm...you see, the summer there, is brutal...and when the owners reconvened to bring it back to life...felt it was a losing proposition...and never reopened ...too bad... Thus, the Bozo brass scrambled ...found a place that would take our sorry arses on... a PRIVATE course , De Anza ...I must say, with beautiful houses surrounding the site...and thriving...listen, it was a beautiful golf course....very very green...lush...with high rough, grass rough...interesting to have that in the desert... rumor is that this course bought out the Borrego Springs resort's water rights... In essence, the De Anza people have the money... the rich survive ...so, the same weeding out of golf courses continu...

My news from the old, yet, grandiose, Memorial Coliseum in LaLa Land ...is that the Ducks of Oregon are alive and well, simply on a mission to win the Pac 12 ...never been in that area, proved to be a test in itself...which appeared to be a simple jaunt up the 405 to the stadium was clearly...NOT!...the atmosphere is much different than anything I have run in to...hmmm, I know I am being pretty generic...but...
