It was time to spruce up my blog...so what do you think? In the aftermath of the Buckeye win at the Rose Bowl, there has been a minor tremble of disgust towards the kicking of a field goal in the last 5 minutes by the Dux coach, Kelly...naw, he needed 2 scores and did what he should have done...the prob was the FG missed and thus, the game was gone bye-bye... Now the injury plagued Blazers lose another...zone buster Steve Blake has pneumonia and is out...what on earth to do? OMG! The NFL games mean a lot to some, but for the vast majority of the others...nuttin... 3 weeks to go to the Buick (?) Open over at Torrey Pines...weird to think that not everyone will be there...Lefty will and it will be his year... 74* and mighty nice...

I have to admit the better team won. Ohio St. had a legit QB that was the diff in the game...big 3rd down plays...and the Dux made key errors in key times...a good game however...and, the Big 10 is a much improved conference...and the Pac 10 is not...all the tell tale signs were there... I have heard enough of the hype for the BSBCS champ game this Thursday...it has to have a playoff before I'd give anyone the crown... Time for a Blu-ray marathon this eve...1st up is Valka...something like that... Happy Newest Year!

I think this is more a wish list rather than a reality one...however, it is a goal that a person of my stature could achieve... 10 ...take my 2 pack and make it into a 4 or more pack...make 3 times a week at the gym...limit my intake of garbage foods to under 3 times a week...chance? 34% 9 ...go green...get a hybrid in lieu of the more flashy red convertible we have now...recycle...turn off lights as we leave...wear green and yellow tomorrow for the Rose Bowl as the Dux whup the Buckeyes...chance? 75% 8 ...have the 1st run on Sammi's takeout everyday...so as to let the working one get more sleep...and yet do the last run half of the time...chance? 90% 7 ...have more patience with the Padres...not take my frustrations out on a chosen few, but spread it around...chance? 40% 6 ...work dilligently on my putting game and refuse to believe it's the stick not the stickee...chance? 10% 5 ...after the Keizer compound sale, back off and let the other half have a high amount of say w...

I can't believe it's been a year since these two battled for the presidency...as politicians go, they were each good choices...how has Prez O done? In a world that has some isolated dissenters of freedom, that has some haters of the USA, that has some who hate to hate....and...in this country itself, has some who question everything, has some who are conservatives who can only see their side of things, has some who block any new thoughts....I say pretty well...he has re-established the notion that the US has a scholar and spokesman for the free world...that he meets all the dastardly acts of the enemy quickly and appropriately...that he presses on with his campaign promises with the act of following through...you see, this country is set up with the checks and balance scheme that forbids quick changes in anything it does (outside of declaring war), and yet he continues on a path of change...I say , "well done!" Have you tried to follow the all-pro thing for the NFL? ...

Just watched the Woodstock movie...like the setup one...very nice...check it out... After this past week in the NFL fugget about picking the winners in the upcoming games...the Bolts have secured the No. 2 spot and it is awesome...Monday night doozie last eve as Bret lost finally...or is that, finally lost... The Gaslamp Sun is the champ! (Me)...beat all the young bucks... The Trib does a real nice thing with the high schools scholar athletes...puts a big spread on them in a big paper...why can't the smaller ones do the same? There are a boat load of Huskers running around the Q...by the way, you can rest now about the lack of the Neb band...it has been remedied...looks like there is a Neb high school band already in San Diego, and they are going to perform the duties of the older generation... Its the Holiday Bowl! The premiere bowl in San Diego, sorry Poinsettia, but it's true...the Pac-10 rep is Arizona and the Big 12 (?) is Nebraska...the mighty Cornhuskers out of the true midwest...probably one of the best traveling schools in all of D-1 football...well, now, sort of...it seems that Big Red has found it safe enough to send it's football team, but not safe enough to send it's band...what? So in their celebration of success this year, they chose not to have a noise section...oops, I meant sound section...maybe it's because San Diego is so close to Tijuana and the Neb folks have read about all the problems in the Mexican border town...and you know how rowdy band people get...they'd be sneaking out over the border and getting in dangerous situations...can't fault their safety concerns there...now the big bad football boys would never do such a thing...anyhooo, the local Cornhusker fans are up in arms, and are calling for an investigation into the ma...

It's that time where the D-1 boys get jiggy...USC finally wins in the Emerald in SF, and the Pac-10 gets a much needed win to boot...the Gators Urban Meyer steps down after a great run there due to stress...the Rose is fast approaching and I am excited to see the Dux...by the way, I mostly miss all the predictions on these games... The NBA...the Blazers continues to win without a true center...they are playing defense...the Lakers lose their stopper to a home fall...Ron Artest stumbles at his home and is out for awhile...they reload and win...did you see the Rockets sent McGrady home...not what he used to be, yet he thinks he is...you're outta here... Picture this...Tiger at a driving range...in the caged golf cart picking up the balls...and the hitters, all the girls he supposedly he caroused with...fore! We finally inked the line for season tix at the Pads...great seats and we are optimistic... I have eaten so much lately that I'm thinking about a tummy staple... Finals o...
