Is this the air coming out of the Trump Prez run?...is the balloon deflating right before our eyes?...the release of the tape of the celebrity announcer, Billy Bush, and the Donald talking women...hmmm...with the crude remarks therein...that leave nothing to the imagination...well...this could be the nail in the c_____...albeit 11 years ago...where they can both claim immaturity...but, really?...too much...too often...and too little defense...

Aw come on, I can't possibly tie that to the UO football team...the too little D...I'm not...but, I will say that the bandwagon that has been so full of green and yellers...has peops jumping ship left and right...I watched on Facebook, where one of my "friends" can't give away his Dawg game tix...for today...used to be, they would be swallowed up in minutes...right?...OK...let me say this...there are plenty of kids with talent there...and...score a bunch and this could be a whole lot more interesting than you "doubters" say...the line is now 9...

That pix I have for today on moi...that is like last eve...and the puffy has pretty much left...hip hip hooray!...damn them bees...and the kids arrived like at 11:30 pm...so, all is well...finally...we will go over to the beach for breakfast...BTW, it is hot hot hot here...and then take in the SDSU/UNLV football game this eve...probably swim in the afternoon...sounds like a fun one, right?...

Terrific baseball game in Chi-town...where the Cubbies won by a single dinger...1-0...that at the crack of the bat seemed to leave the yard...if not for the webbing, the wind would have kept it catchable...both pitchers were spot on and SF has nothing to be ashamed of...and...with the best pitcher in the game...struggling to make it thru 5 innings...the Bum's Kershaw...LA found a great relief in their relievers and held on to beat the Nats in DC...cool...I guess...sure seems like there are a lot of former Padres playing for contenders...hmmm...right AJ?...

So...what happens if the Donald resigns his campaign?...is this a possibility?...what is the protocol?...do they have to go to the VP candy man that Trump picked?...or can the RNC find their own guy or gal...how about Carly Fiarina?...she always wanted to give it a go against the Hilz...this should be a great couple of days for you who like political poo poo....

The Effects

Morning kids...the storm has hit the east coast...just now getting the
pix...Matthew...the eye of it just passed Cocoa Beach and am wondering the normal...what happened to that area?...I just can't imagine staying in a house or condo as it hits...terrifying!...can you believe the pix on the right of this little girl?!

Day 3 and a half of this bee sting on my face...right below my right eye...it's finally starting to unpuff...is that a word?...anyway...it doesn't hurt, but sure the hell is annoying and BTW...turn away, I am hideous...is there a day that I don't make reference to something that was said on Seinfeld?...I'm sure not...I should be normalized by the end of this fine Friday...hope hope...

It's been like 10 years that a hurricane has touched down in Florida...really?...seeings that we have a one weeker in Cocoa Beach...on the Atlantic side of the state...we are always aware of what it is going on...this storm, Matthew, is headed straight on line...maybe by this eve...we have been in their storms...but not the stature of this one...and it is terrifying...mass evacuations are in place...all the way up to North Carolina...bracing for this thing...let's hope it dies down...or heads up north and cycles back over the ocean...probably wishful thinking...

Oh my...Madbum...the San Francisco Giants won the NL wild card game in NY, er is that Jersey?...I dunno, never been there...the Mets place...the lefty was marvelous yet again...went all 9 and got a timely 3 run dinger to propel the V...good stuff...and off they go to take on the Cubbies...this I will watch...talk about your weather...both cities will probably be on the coldish side...

I am SOOOOOO tired of the pundits on this election...there is no more paint...and yet, there are countless hours, by all the channels who do this...for more of it...are you with me on this?...hey, kids...it's a politician vs a money maker....there is no correlation...so...sit tight, watch other things...and wait for debate number 2 on Sunday...then you can see the pundits dissect it for the next month...geez...

Giddy Up

I was asked what my favorite pixel show was...almost all of my thoughts went to the ones made a while back...like, in some cases, years ago...I still belly laugh at the antics of Cosmo Kramer on "Seinfeld"...marvel at the slapstick antics of Lucy on the "I Love Lucy Show"...the interaction of the 6 young adults on "Friends"...the ins and outs of the former ballplayer, now bar manager, Sam, on "Cheers"...the slick wit of the doctors on "Mash"...however, that's pretty much it...the powers to be just don't have that type of writing...of course, you have to establish the characters...and you have like  6 to 8 episodes to get 'er done...maybe, just maybe, one might to turn to the more serious in nature "Madam Secretary"...which I do like...I dunno...I'm more into the reality types..."Survivor", "Dancing With The Stars", "The Voice"...to name the biggest ones...and, of course, the sports...which I watch the most...BTW, pictured is Cosmo drinking a pissy beer...right Euros?...

Like last eve's exhibition NBA game...yes, like a practice fray...the Golden St Warriors hosting the Clip Joint...oh my, GS is on a different plane...up by 50 most of the way...the addition of KD makes them virtually unbeatable...I WILL buy the NBA Package yet again...call me a hoops nut...

The walk off win in the 1st Wild Card game in the MLB arena...everybody likes a winner...the Blue Jays are tough...and beat the Orioles in OT...dinger...not sure why the O's manager, Buck Showalter, stayed with that pitcher...imagine there are many irate fans in Maryland, today...nature of the biz...

OK, I did watch the first 40 minutes or so of the VP Debate...said I wouldn't...I lied...remember I am an Independent...but thought that the Repub Pence lambasted the foo Kaines...is that his name?...the Demo kept interrupting...and without any clear help of the rules by the moderator...it was just awful to watch...annoying...thank goodness this is the only one of these fiascos...right?...bring on the vahsity...the jayvees were not good...

I still have me doubts about the KK jewel heist in Paris...maybe she should get Inspector Clouseau to investigate the crime scene...was the Peter Sellers movies on him the best?..."Pink Panther"...I did get to the movie house to watch those epic films...and yes, fed off the crowd and belly laughed...where is Cato hiding?...way, way funny...

The kids are coming down this weekend...and we are trolley riding out to the Q...taking in the SDSU/UNLV game...Dr Cris got his Dental Creds from UNLV...it will be fun, as we are going to tailgate there with the Wainscots...they are rabid Aztec fans...I am, yet again, an independent...ha ha...

Every once in a while...just to get the feel of the era...you need to pop in the DVD, or Blu-ray...or whatever you have...of the movie "American Graffiti"...it will make you smile and relax your cares away...trust Horse...and the music!...da best, Jerry, da best...

You notice how the NRA totally controls the gun laws in this country?...the issue comes up when a mass shooting occurs...and then dies (!) off...that lobbyist group has a hold over our Congress...don't doubt it for one second...now THAT should be a crime...

DWTS...I see that Vanilla Ice and Babyface got the boot...if you are a sanger, do not go on that show and think that you will win...take heed, Jana Kramer, you are next...as the oldies but goodies move on...ha ha...and did you see the reaction of the judge and former dance star, Julianne Hough...to the gal she was body shaming, Amber Rose?...Amber apologized and I don't know what the Hough girl though she was saying...but it wasn't an apology...BTW, the Rose dance, this time, should have made her uncomfortable...ha ha...still, the Oly gal is far better than the others...

Monday Monday

We're finally in the month of the leaves changing...wait, we don't have that much down here...the weather dipping...down, er, back to the 70's...yes...that's it!...we finally opened up our windows and let the fresh air in....been like 3 months, kids...easily the hottest in 10 years...really?...we've been in SoCal that long?...hmmm...

No better play in the Ryder Cup was our boys...as they cruised to a much needed W...did you watch?...that 1st match was a beaut...and Patrick Reed beat Rory McIlroy...their 8th hole was legendary and set the stage for the day...Rory hit a 50+foot putt and went ballistic!...shouting whatever he could come up with...and then...Patrick hit one right on top of his, from 30+...it was epic, fun, and the shot that was needed...more story lines emerged...and the US continued to the finish line...victorious...BTW, the Euros were a class act in their loss...hint hint Lefty...

Abysmal...the closing of the Chargers game...totally in control...and left the ball on the ground twice in the last Q...at the Q...and found a way to lose...yet again...hey, that's nothing in comparison to my FF team...who, even though I fired the O coordinator, lost by 60 points...60!...these are professional football players...who choose not to perform for moi...is there a guy out there that I could hire to turn this around...some dude who used to be an OC?...

Could just be in Orygun...as the boo birds are circling the camp in Eugene...Helfrich, the now HC, is getting heat...so it is said...the D is still terrible...and now...the O has turned...as the worm turns...you see, when you have so much success, that when things don't go right...well, the Alums are demanding more of the program...or, at least as much as the dude before you...if...there is that word again...if...there is no change, there will be a change...salty...and to think I'll be up there in a month to see the product....

The "Preller Cup" is coming home to San Diego...as the mighty AAA Padres completed their 3 game loss sweep to the DBacks...so yes...solidified the last place finish in the west...congrats to the brass and Trader AJ on the miracle that you have given the local faithful...and, oh by the way, the 3rd pick in the draft next year...so dumbfounded were the Arizona boys, that they are about to fire their manager...what?...does this make sense to you?...

I saw this article on the ambivalence of some voters...well many...as there is sentiment out there...to "not vote"...well now...listen kids...that is not what your option should be...pick out the better of the two...for whatever reason you have...if not, the candy man or woman will be chosen by a select few...don't let that happen...voice your choice by YOUR vote...

Rumor has it...that my new (old) irons will arrive today...via UPS or USPS, or something...probably have to get new grips on 'em...Horse is excited!...

Clemson Tigers

There were some great matchups in football yesterday...no better than the Clemson Tigers and the Louisville Cards...terrific play by both sides...and came down to a game winning drive by the South Carolina team...it is unbelievable the type of atmosphere that these schools have...like many of the colleges throughout the nation...I dunno, but they look like a final 4 type to me...

On the other hand...my worst fears have come true...the Ducks have fallen to mediocrity...or worse...got hammered in the Palouse...easily...and...this doesn't sit well in Eugene, or anywhere in the Oregon Duck nation...grumblings are about...you know, you have to win in that sport...to me, they just haven't recruited well enough...to a highly coveted school?...and...the fast paced O is a thing of the past...boo...I have other fears...gots to figure that the HC is on the hot seat...

The Aztecs ventured to 'Bama to play South Alabama...so much for the undefeated hype...just like last season...got their rears handed to them by the same school...see above...and back SDSU comes to the Mountain West to feast...and slide into a lesser bowl...not there yet...

Ryder Cup...that was really fun, right?...it's amazing the passion that the fans have for the sport...happens in Europe, too...almost like Halloween...the dudes (the fans) get dressed up and then do their shout thing...for golf...hmmm...I thought you were to be quiet when the players were about to strike the ball?...ha ha...anyway...the US is leading going into today's final round of single's matches...the 2 leaders of their respective teams, not only play each other, but are in the 1st match...Rory McIlroy and Patrick Reed...should set the stage for a great Sunday..."C'mon!"...

If...if I say...the news about the Trump tax issue is true...in the 90's where the report says he lost almost a billion dollars...if...and may have not paid any Fed Tax for like 20 years...if true...he will be lambasted...and will get clobbered at the polls...if...let's wait for the reply, kids...don't rush to judgment...

And now, the time has come...to announce the winner of the "Preller Cup"...given to the worst team in the west...the AAA Padres lost again to the DBacks...the closing game of the season is today...with a solid loss, will bring the trophy home to the Gaslamp...congrats to the Brass, the GM (suspended bloke, Trader AJ), the...well, congrats to them all...to cap off yet another miserable season...no other like this one...yes, they called me to re-enlist to the season tix package...they got an earful, and I'm sure they will not call back...oh my...

When you return from a 2 week vacay, it is just terrifying to open up and look at the bills that come in...right?...hey, it was all worth it...

Staying in my poor poor pitiful me mode...my FF team continues it's slide to the basement of the league...BREAKING NEWS...Horse has just fired it's GM, AJ Shepard...hmmm...if you have that as your name, you are probably feeling the heat...well...the Bolts have a homer today out at the Q...do you know that the Chargers are on the ballot here?...for a new stadium downtown!...called Measure C...and it will be built by ____...you fill in the blank...

The VP candy men have the next debate...maybe tomorrow?...it's like having the JV Coach defend what you do..."listen dude, I worked with JFK, and you are no John Kennedy"...something like that...or the question, "Can you just name me ONE periodical that you read on a daily basis?...just one?"..."does Playgirl count?", she responded...I digress...

Finally...when the Horse went from dumb blonde back to smart black...er, dark brown...the hairs which are left standing, find their own ways of adjusting color...you who dye your hairs on a regular basis know what I am talking about...well, some of mine are on the red shade...what?...resembles more of a rainbow...man...
