Mubarak is supposedly stepping down this eve...and I ponder, "Is this a good thing?"  Hey, I know the protesters are united, but didn't this happen in Iran a few decades ago?  I have said this before, but if you have a dictator in power, there is but one way to change it up...revolution...let's hope that a democratic society evolves there... So we have this little 8 or 9 or 10 couple wine and cheese party this Friday at a spot in the Gaslamp Q...it is called a Cheese 101 Class...do I have to take notes?  I'm not that good at that...anyway, we each have to bring two bottles of the same wine...our assignment is to find 2 full bodied reds for about $15...so the little lady and I are traveling up to Temecula Wine Country to accomplish our first task...yup, it's a road trip... The Aztecs demolished the Utes last night and are in the process of running the table, let alone Utah...hang on kids... Melo to LA LA land?  Oh my... Gotta go...somebody has to do it...

Make no mistake about this, Aaron Rodgers is in his prime...tremendous showing as he led the Pack to the Sooper Bowl title against the game Steelers ...and, by the way, Big Ben , did his thing in the 2nd half...fun game...finally I picked one right...outside of your gurl Christina's rendition of the national anthem, it was a hitchless night...oh wait, the people who bought tix, that were denied entry due to the seat's malfunction...that was awful...oops, and was Fergie ever on tune? And in a couple of year's this game is going to be played in New Jersey, right?  OMG, that'll be another treat for the fans... I was switching back and forth from the Waste Management Open in Scottsdale... Two Gloves Gainey is our hero...probably the worst swing for a pro ever, yet he scores...there's 5 or 6 holes left and he's back by 2...and the crazies were gone on 16, they went to a bar to watch the Sooper Bowl ... Did you watch the Glee show after the game?  I am say...

It wasn't the Blazers who broke the all time losing skid of the hapless Cavs ...losers of 24 straight and 34 of their last 35...you know it's one thing to lose, but they are lifeless...ouch!  PDX had enough to escape with a win... SDS with a very average beat down of TCU ...lucky that their game was against the Horned Frogs...and what on earth are you doing USD ?  Lead by 3 with a mere 2 seconds and you allow a 35 footer for a tie?  I always believe in a grab foul...and BYU bopped UNLV. ...I still think that the Rebs are better than their scores... Not as much hype for the Sooper Bowl as in the past, right?  I am just moderately interested and think it's a toss-up...did pick GB by 3...but, could understand Big Ben doing something great the other way...
