How's your bracket going?... my main guys are hanging in there ...and now...it's the big games...this weekend will set the whole thing up...the first games are the toughest...hoping that the Aztecs can win again... Upset?... the Dukies are out!...didn't see that coming...where is Mercer anyway?...North Dakota St over Okla...in fact, all the Oklahoma schools are gone ...ie, Oky St and Tulsa... The Zags beating the Cowboys was huge for me...in a horribly officiated one ...way too many touch fouls...ruined any flow to the match...booooo... I'd like to say there are some big games today...well, they ALL ARE! ... The overlap of baseball and basketball has begun ...kind of neat...for us who like them the same...I'm not sure how this works...but the Bums and DBacks are playing counting games in Australia...it's not even April???... I got one Pick 6 tix ...and got 4 right...which paid $0 ...ha ha... Santa Anita ...I have told you that Del Mar goes twice ...

Even the best of coaches can freeze up in prime time. ..witness the ever mentioned, genius of the transfers... SDSU's own legend, Steve Fisher ...who had the game wrapped last night versus the game New Mexico St ...and then, inexplicably, gave up points after points and let the sure thing go to OT...including allowing a 3 pointer to be shot when a foul was needed... looked like a rookie coach ...and then...hold on again...and do foul for a 2 shooter in lieu of a 3 ball...and win... It's what goes on in the Big Dance...weird stuff...especially for the favored teams...look at Louisville ...who played just well enough to win...against unheralded Manhattan...who just happens to be coached by a former assistant of the Card's Coach, another legend, Rick Pitino ...my choice to win it all...well...I'm looking like I picked wrong again...eegads... Today is a huge day for my bracket...much diff than the other blokes I am against...and will get me going in the right dire...

The first upset of the T?... Cal Poly ...posting a 13-19 record...won their league's T...and then won their play in game over Texas Southern ...woaah...and play the top seeded team in the Big Dance ... Wichita St on Friday...curious, as most of the "experts" have the Shockers, shocked ...early...not me...as I have them winning some...but, not it all... PDX wins by not playing...as some of the teams near 'em are losing...geez, if they would just change a few parts of their D, they would improve immensely....I know, I keep repeating myself...I get so frustrated with it... Survivor. ... Cliffy got blind sided! ...what was he thinking...the others did not paint a good picture of him...the cameras did not show what they said... Idol ...taped it...started to watch and it was dreadful...did not see all the kids in action...but what I did was worthy of turning off the TV... Sounds like the plane might have been found...er, the remnants of it...off the coast of Aust...

The actual dancers are starting out much better...overall...the "stars" bit is a stretch...however, the concept is way cool...the real dancers are great and makes the show...the gal that is a double amputee...not sure how she does it...amazing... There were changes made for  the season...replacing the gal host.... Brooke Burke ...who was wonderful...not sure why this was done... with the most annoying, nasally former dancing "star", Erin Andrews ...just awful ...and they also have a new band...that sounded not as good as the original...the 3 clown judges remained...I watch...reluctantly...my oh my, Erin is turrible...how do you say irritating?...guess I just did... The Big Dance ...well...I have some upsets...not many...the west and midwest are the ones that will have many possibles...good luck, kids... Shot an 86 today...and literally missed 12 putts inside 10 ft...really...could have been my best round ever...I was close...but no cigars...and that's tr...

I am not as ticked as I was last eve when they announced the bracket... D-1 Hoops Tourney ...thank goodness it's not a 4 team event...you see, in my eyes, if you don't win your conference's own T, then you don't deserve a number 1 seed ... Arizona is the one...anyway...the other 3 seem deserving...and off we go... my bracket breakers are ... New Mexico...SDSU...Gonzaga...MSU...Creighton ...and my bracket duds are ... Kansas...BYU...Duke...VCU...Arizona ....what?... Don't know if you watched the Blazer debacle last night...up 18, and blow it... you'd think they might have doubled up the best shooter in the game ...nope, he was taking pot shots...uncontested...and brought the Warriors back...gross...and if you could figure out the PDX O, you are ahead of me...and the free fall continues.. .turrible coaching...just turrible... By the way... Virginia beat Duke in the finals of the ACC... the bloke guiding the Cavs was the kid coaching WSU just a 4 spot back...

Do you find it odd that the D-1 Prezzes OK the BIG DANCE in hoops...alias the tourney of tourneys...and not in football?...the whole thing screams confusion...and a deliberate camouflage of reality ...and deception of corruption in the bowl system ...I digress...as the announcement of the 64+ teams that get to dance...is today...at least, I think it is...it's soon nonetheless... In the Mountain and the Pac 12 , the regular season champs got taken down...SDSU and Arizona...hmmm...will that affect where they are placed?... And the missing plane is still that...7 hours of unchartered flying?...eegads...horror...and if it was due to sabotage, where was the onboard safety guy?...more unanswered Q's... We went down to 5th and watched the festivities last eve...pretty dang wild, kids...at about 1 am we heard a very loud collision...could not see where it was...but seemed close by...lots of sirens and all... 80* again today...just like summer...and the breeze is missing.....
