Oh my...this blog went out...and POOF! it was GONE!...somehow I have to resurrect it...not sure how...dang it all...so, I'll try... Mesmerizing ...is the word that comes up with this pattern of Da Weather ...I jest as to seeing clearly...as there is hazy skies all around...especially up north of us... the crazy fires ...out in the Gulf of Mexico, it is the hurricane season...and get this...two are headed at the same time... Marco (Rubio) and Laura (Ingraham) are the names...that just might combine to make a complete inferno...the midwest is getting horrific thunderstorms ...all this, while the glaciers of the North Pole, splinter off...think that, even you forever Trumpsters (from the dumpsters), that we DON"T have global warming?. .. Part 2 of the day... the mighty Padres ... won their 5th in a row....5 in a row! ...this time versus the always pesky Houston Astros...no grand slam this time around, but timely hitting...and get this, solid RP!...news out that our 2nd in line ...

So much for Trump ...and his nickname for the Democratic Presidential runner, JOE BIDEN , sleepy Joe ...as Biden's acceptance speech was BRILLIANT! ... "take us out of the darkness, that this guy has our country in..." ...the conclusion to the 4 nite convention...the fanfare, is hard to replace...so, the words said are the vehicle that we must ride... the two at the top of the ticket , Biden and Harris , are the here at the right time...to reinstall common decency back into our top office... Sen Cory Booker , had a couple of segments in the final nite...his speech and the moderator of a 'ZOOM MTG' of other Prez candidates of this go around ...as they took turns, embracing Joe and Kamala...it was informative, needed, and fun... the speech by the youngster, that he too, was a child stutterer...how Biden helped him... the list of people that Joe touched in times of grief ...over the many years...one could just feel the compassion of the man , and the direct opposite...

There were dual headliners for Day 3 of the DNC ...the most eloquent speech of Prez O and...the coronation of the VP candy lady, Kamala Harris ...and her speech of acceptance...first, Barack Obama...by accident, I swear...we were watching YouTube a bit before the convention started up...the Seinfeld (Jerry) show, about 'Comedians Having Coffee in Cars'...ah, something like that...was on...the 'comedian' was Prez O...Jerry went to the White House, back when O was the inhabitant...the exchange was brilliant and funny...you MUST catch it... Back to the here and now ... Prez O gave a scathing talk on the strengths of Joe Biden and the extreme weaknesses of Trump ...let's just call this unprecedented...there is a club of former presidents, that one bloke will NEVER be in...Orange is on his own...the message was LOUD and CLEAR... Trump is inept, lazy, and self serving ...his only salvation will be his devoted base of ....followers...the rest of the country?...listeni...

This will be brief, as we are attempting to get an earlier tee time...just like Orange, golf takes precedence...anyhoo, the Day 2 of the DNC...now that we are privy to the 'how to's' of the show...our expectations are downplayed...the enthusiastic crowd is sorely missed...so, it's the spoken word that we have to latch onto... Concise is the how to describe many of the nite's speakers...Prez Clinton, Prez Carter, both eloquent...and totally spot on...the crossovers, the former (Trump)AG Sally Yates and W's Sec of St, Colin Powell...John Kerry was brilliant...but the nite was owned by...Joe's wife...Dr. Jill Biden... Her strength and abilities add to the ticket, and, is uncompromised...she has the 'it' factor...a terrific member of the team that wants to be in the White House... AND... Let there be no doubt of the direction of the Democratic Party ... emphasizing the inadequacies of Donald J Trump as our president ...from so many angles, it almost boggles the mind... YES ...his rule (what else might you call it?) is filled with self serving debacles...over and over...and over...his inability to understand and cohabitate with other countries is now LEGENDARY ...reducing any alliances to money...his neglect of a virus, that was brought to his attention way prior to the extreme deadly zone...his blatant disregard to the constitution...with the singular concept of self preservation...and, with due respect to ALL true Republicans, his use of that party, that immense group of people, to fake his way through their platform...the worst of the lot?...he says he is a church goer...give us all a break... NOW ...is the time to sit back...all of us, and listen to what people say...judge for yourself...are YOU being used?... The VIRTUAL convention does not have the impact that ...

Morning, kids ...as our heat wave continues on ...we tried no AC last nite...ah, big mistake...brings back the time when we had none... I ended up 'virtually' naked , trying to survive the non-air flow...and the high temp...this is so unlike SD weather...you know, I wouldn't be writing about this, if I left the AC on...supposed to be like this all week... ah, figure it out Horse ... The Democratic Convention kicks off today...of course, due to the pandemic, this will be like no other...well, at least for 100 years...it shall be done 'VIRTUALLY' ...if you watched any of the NBA bubble games...that is what they had for fans... all 'virtual' ...hmmm, like the laugh tracks that many TV shows had way back when...come to think of it...one can control enthusiasm this way...when to applaud and all...shout out...don't have to worry about Orange hecklers...ha ha...
