The Weekend

Seemingly, all these last few days have been running into one another...could be any day, in reality...feels like a Tuesday...whatever...more and more news, of closures...now hotels down here in the Gaslamp/Marina in San Diego...the Pendry, the Manchester Hyatt, and on and on...in essence, the shut down becomes more and more of a true reality...witness the very few taxis and Ubers out and about...almost to the point of what is open?...remember back in the day, when most businesses were shuttered on Sundays?...60's and 70's and of course, before...then, they all opened up...seems like more of a Sunday...

The NFL is in their preparation mode...moving and shaking like never before...well, at least that I can recall...players a moving all over the place...in hopes for the upcoming season to actually occur...gosh, we are hearing boatloads of cash for the new contracts...as we sit on ZERO...nobody making anything in the here and now...and watch, bewildered and certainly not bemused, at the falling of points and stocks...in the DOW and NASDAQ...

Peops aren't making anything....so the contracts those blokes are signing are more of a wish list, I reckon...who knows the length of the lock down...I am telling you nothing that you already don't know...

Trump prances out with his team of experts, to tell the US what the daily report is on the virus and the preparedness...or, lack thereof...a problem is his winging it...I can see why he doesn't have press conferences...he can't do 'em...case in point, was his undressing the reporter yesterday...calling him names...displaying his own lack of class...again and again and again...listen, Donny, let the experts talk...the look that the doctor gave when Trump responded to a Q, was absolutely legendary...figure Trump ripped him and the Dr is on his last hours in the team...

My good friend from the PNW, Snooki, has begun this gig while we are all in confinement...er, shut down...ah, lock down...anyhoo, he has a plethora of songs in his iPod...and he is gonna list a favorite each and every day, as we are sequestered...today's hit to listen to, 'Up On The Roof' by the Drifters...hey, Snooki, it is a terrific song...sophomore year in my high school days...when this whole world...and all my cares just drift away... 
ah, Pilot's error...was informed by my esteemed colleague from Orygun, that his mountains of music were from his iTunes, not the antiquated iPod...these new fangled thangs...

BTW, RIP Kenny Rogers...so sad...'Just Dropped In...'

A stimulus package that the Senate is proposing...hmmm, or should that be hymn....might it come to fruition?...money from the Government to help get by, during the lock down...interesting concept...let's see if it really gets passed...and our household definitely qualify...ah, both on fixed incomes...

What about this?...the reincarnation of the drive in theater...stay in your car...take your own snacks and beverages...the entry would be by an app on your phone...the only thing that would cause prob's...the latrine...more planning needed...but, what u think?...

AND...let's stop televising the experts, ie, Trump...just have the newspeople report on it...bet you a C note, that if that happened...Donny wouldn't come prancing out with the experts...just the facts, ma'am....

Thank goodness for the video chat...as we got to see our grandson on his birthday...while being miles away from him and them...so dang cute...and we can't hardly wait for the chance to be with him...and them...

Marsh got out the guitars...might we strum up some tunes for the masses?...hymn, well I am still a rookie on it...apparently, we have the time...

Not sure if I know any song other than 'A Horse With No Name' by America...it has two chords...now, THIS, I can do...but the lyrics, who came up with them?...oh my...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
