I don't know why, but the life of the TV's have dropped off in the last couple of years. Each of the ones I have owned down here in the south land have died their miserable death after just 2 years...now one was a Best Buy exclusive...so I could understand that...but, the other was a Samsung...so I'm TV shopping again...any suggestions? I am on the mend with my golf game as I played in a tourney in this marvelous little course in Coronado...such a beautiful place that I will return and return again...OK, maybe, because I was playing well, but it still was so picturesque... So there is this plan to go around the country and discuss the projected national health plan by the new Obama regime ...one of the methods is by hosting town hall meetings...it's a process that the Prez used when he was running for the job he now has earned...he can talk...but now he has the rest of his party TRYING to do the same thing...well, not everyone can talk like him...which gets me to my point the hard way...who is behind the volatile opposition that has erupted in these meetings? Are they just frustrated republicans? Are they a result of private town hall meetings that have been formed to show opposition? Are they groups that come out of the christian right? Or, are they a product of the insurance lobbyists? Just where are these groups being formed? Very interesting ... So your favorite singer, Madonna , is singing in Bucharest (Hungary) (?) and decides to open up about the plight of the gypsies in the area...seems to be a verboten thing in that area and she ...

The passing of Senator Ted Kennedy has brought to an end of the largest, longest, most trusted, politician family of my lifetime. Personal life notwithstanding, their dedication to doing the right thing was always their best credential. It is truly a sad day for us...I think back to the presidency of JFK and how we were all enamored with his actions and his speeches...or with RFK and his hope for change in the Viet Nam War era...and the endorsement by Teddie of Obama just this last year... Which brings me to these questions. Is it better for the country to have the rich run it? It is harder to coerce them by the hated lobbyists? Is it not good to have but one family have such a long influence on the country? In these past few days I have brought up some very unflattering things that are still going on in this country...if in fact we are all about change...let's get on with it... now...
