Nothing more creepy than the late 60's and early 70's marauding group of whatevers...the Charlie Manson Family ...an existence of the then so called 'hippie culture'...which they were hardly of...but more of a stoned out mess of a group, led by a monster...got so bored with life, that they took other's...LIVES...in brutal fashion...most of you are well aware of this...the Sharon Tate murder, amongst others in that home...and the day after the LaBianca's murders...it was front page news, of course... What was not known...at least to the public at the time...there were about 60 MEMBERS in the family ...yes, you read that right...however, only a few were involved in the murdering...at least, in these two major cases... 60! ... Manson, and his select group were all found guilty, and sentenced to death ...thing is, in 1972 the state of Cali...abolished the death penalty ...so, there they were...plucked down in prison for 'life'...well, not so fast, my good f...

Probably the best thing that has happened in the past, let's say at least 50 years...is that NATO is becoming stronger than ever ...yes, this is this grouping of Nations that trump wanted us to rid ourselves of...good lord...so, we have more and more countries bonding together to fend off...RUSSIA!...in particular, Putin...those countries that have been deemed 'neutral' are no more...or will be shortly... Finland and Sweden, who are so important to the northern waters of Europe...as I told you a few days back, Sweden is extremely fortified...much more so than I ever imagined ...and the county under a brutal attack by Putin, Ukraine...is only days away from getting into this most important collaboration of Nations ...surprisingly, not much is talked about this in ANY NEWS!...time to show the world, how this is going to solidify the freedom...that we need and want... The Horse likes cola...likes the fizz...the CARBONATION!...likes the flavor ...the Horse knows that too much sugar is not good for you...or me...so, the cola of choice for over 55 years...well, it started with TAB ...right, you heard me...then, it turned into Diet Coke ...shoot, Diet Pepsi , too...did not like the off brands...there were and still exist, others...RC...Safeway had one... and little did I know what the sweetening thing in it, was...it just wasn't sugar... The latest is aspartame ...put into the colas around 1981... which really is a dipeptide artificial sweetener...ah, what?...it's composed of 2 amino acids...aspartic acid and phenylalanine ...wooah...200 times as potent as SUGAR!...no wonder I like it...it has been named other thangs... Nutrasweet, Equal, and Sugar Twin ... So...now there is more and more evidence...that extreme consumption can lead to cancer...headaches...seizures and depression ... according to the FDA ... an adult would have to drink 18 cans ...

I am not a reviewer...far from it...BUT...I can see what's what...and have a 'one man's opinion'...er, the Horse's View ...something like that...and we have seen many many concerts over our lifetimes...all genres...even the almost newbies...love the oldies...of course...and the country stuff, which we have absolutely fallen in love with...the late 60's and 70's music is to die for...unfortunately, many of those artists are doing just that... In the near past, we have seen Diana Ross, Little Big Town, and The Beach Boys...and last eve, the one and only Neil Young ....who has been popularized with many many hits...outside of his collaboration with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young... but, something happened last eve, the same that happened when my son and I saw Hall and Oates in Vegas a while back...they played their 'new stuff' and none, or very little of the songs that made them WHO THEY ARE! ... Young played songs that he said were 'in the vault a...

Going to lead with the MLB All Star Game today in Seattle ... thankfully, the outcome has no bearing on the season, who has home field advantage in the World Series, or anything else ...it is just a showcase of those worthy for their 1st half of the season production...that's all...all teams are represented...fine...hopefully, they all get to play...sometimes, they don't...let it be...as is...and for goodness sakes, if it is tied after 9, let it stand as is... The Home Run Derby was fun...Vlad Guerrero, Jr was the winner ...but, the star of the show was the OSU product, C Ad Rutschman...who hit from both sides of the plate...did great, hit 27 dingers...and still lost...his pappy did the pitching...it was fine, fine, super fine...not crazy about one rule, the extra 30 seconds gained if a player hits a couple really long...a homer is a homer...  As I finished the last blog entry about Northwestern football ...the coach did indeed know about the indecent hazing within his program....

They want us all to believe them, this time...ah, now, they are telling us the truth ...we may have fibbed before, but this time it is legitimate...trust us...you may be thinking this is the line of trump...and whatever is left of his entourage...but NO... I am referring to the Kremlin...the Russian leadership, I guess ...which has released this fable... that Putin and the leader of the rebellion, Prigozhin, met...just days after the uprising came to an abrupt end...they say, Prigozhin and nearly 3 dozen mercenary commanders were confabbing with Putin ...so...where are these dudes now?...it has been hinted that Prigozhin got a sweet deal...he could go in to hiding...hmmm, does this sound like what the Putin regime would offer?.. .historically, he would be killed immediately...something doesn't add up, Kremlin... The MLB takes the center stage with it's All Star Game...Home Run Derby ...all kinda fun...this time in Seattle ...we had it a few years back, and we went to it...mosey...

I have said often, that we are in too early times to start the process for the 2024 election ... ah, but NOW, this date of July 9th, 2023...the Horse declares that NOW IS THE TIME ...let us begin... the Demos have but one real alternative to the incumbent, Prez B...RFK, Jr ...and the Repubs have a slurry of possibles, with the leader of 'em, none other than the guy from Mara-Lago, trump...thus, most of the show will be on the elephants side... Is there a chance that the Repubs could put forth someone else? ...they need to, as, donny can't win...so just how do they finagle their way through this?...his forevers will be damned to go elsewhere...but, the party knows much better...the absolute need for a debate is a must...and trump has to be pressured to be on the docket...to show his party his ineptness...I am not saying who they should choose...that part is to be determined...
