And that is HIBER-NATION! ...just what the country is doing... how you handling it?. ..as of now, it is the only safety we have...gosh, the news from my 23 sources is all the same...the numbers infected are off the charts...I do not need to repeat it...you will see it everywhere you turn, in the papers, the tele, the web net...lordy... So, I turned on Live PD on the tele last eve...there are some incredibly difficult jobs in this world...one such is the life of a policeman or policewoman ...what they have to face, on a daily basis, is beyond belief...wait, no, it is totally believable...imagine the current state, of what they must deal with... I applaud them...and am extremely thankful for what they do... As the sun is rising from the east, it is welcome relief from the nasty cold and rain we have had the past...hmmm, I don't know how long it's been...but, it is a welcome sight ... a sign of promise , perhaps?...normally, I would pull the shades down...nope, not today...

I know for many of you, who reside in other areas of the country...that waking up to 50* temperature is nuttin' honey ....but, down here in south SoCal, it is bitter cold...and quite extraordinary ....throw in a sleep awakening at 3:30 in the am rain and wind titter tatter on the bedroom window. ..you have extreme weather...and US wide awake, at 5:30...enough of this, MN, bring on the heat ... After 4 days of recovery in the Market, the Futures are leaning the other way this morn...the hardest hit are the cruise ship stocks ...just ponder the way that the very rich and influential, scatter their money around...I don't get it...never will... remember when one would put their cash into the bank, and let the interest accrue?...or bonds? ...things of the past... The stimulus package ...is now awaiting 2 more things ... the House to pass it...and if they do, then Trump to endorse it...many of the House are gone, so they have to scurry back for the vote...why they can...

I must have been Carnac the Magnificent ...as I proclaimed the $2 Trillion Buck Stimulus Package as a go, yesterday...in me blog...ah ha, not so fast, Horse ...both sides agreed to it, and then they (the Senate) VOTED on it YESTERDAY ...I was a bit in the future...the tally was 96-0 in favor, hmmm... there are 100 Senators, right?...oh well, I don't want to know the rest. ..YES, it now has indeed passed...and help is on the way... The other big ticket item for the 23 sources this am, is the announcement of the numbers of the unemployed ...duh...as most businesses have shuttered...regardless, it is what the reporting is all about...give us all the gloom and doom....and Lordy, it is out there for your observation...until, there is a change in the virus, we are in it... That's the news...those two things... well, and the devastation of the virus ...you can see for yourself...I will go elsewhere... Here at the condo, the powers to be tried a new concept to airing the mo...

The stimulus bill has passed! ... $2 trillion bucks ...the massive aid for the common man and woman, is a hit...but, in reality, what does it mean for you?... totally depends on your tax income for 2019 ... make less than $99, 000 for the year, and YOU get a check...for a couple, double that. ..thing is, as government works, the actual payday won't be until the end of May ...that's the scoop I have thus far...the immediate affect?... the stock market had a remarkable rebound ...over 2,000 points...in the DOW...what is not clear, is what else gets cash...big business?...small business?...I have not read about that...but YOU know that there are add ons in the measure... How are your cooking skills? ...surely, they are being tested...this being creative from what we have in our freezer, does put the ingenuity to work...marinated some sirloins for at least 4 hours...then pan fried 'em...tasty, but NOT filets...however, the price was right...and the Horse cooked a pound cake...

Thinking about the message that I am relaying out to you...following the plight of so many others... the gloom and doom ... YOU need some other angle... Let's Twist it up ...find the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel, so to speak... give us all, something to look forward to ...right?... Lord knows , there are many obstacles before us ...in San Diego, the Mayor has forbid most everything...closure of so many things, it is hard to list them all...but, if you want to go outside, make a beeline to the dog potty area, or to the grocery store...and that's it!... Got a memo from one of my golfing buddies, that Costco has an online ordering and delivery service...that WORKS! ...of course, you have to be in a delivery area...but, he didn't have to leave the house to get his supplies...next week, we are going to try it... Thank goodness for any form of video chat on the cell phone...as we can keep in touch with our kids and their kid...ah, our grandson...as you know, it is h...

A stimulus package that is floating about the Senate floor, has to have fewer bonuses on it...for the first time ever, why not just promote the main idea, and NOT the add ons?...seems like no bill ever produced doesn't have a lot of things to coerce the 'other' party...you know what I mean... The LA Mayor is closing down most everything ...too many of the people want to get out and beat the boredom...stay safe, but too many are doing it...thus, the problem...I get it and I understand it... The Stock Market ...well... the Futures say down again. ..yet, I am reading that there is some form of rally...not sure why, as everything is shuttered...as IT should be... The flick last eve?... It is a Sunday , right?...as I said yesterday, the days are all running together ...be safe...as best one can...yet, do not succumb to extreme paranoia...and, if you are watching the tele, it's hard not to go that route...as I have told Marsh, binge watch on other things ...you can find the hard stuff on most any channel... Is there an alternative to the cabin fever? ... the walking of the dog ...keeping your distance...we have a policy in the building, one family in the elevator at a time... we take wipes everywhere we go...and then, wash our jackets after arriving back home...we went for a little car ride ...ended up at the beach ...kept our distance... walked on the beach ... all safe stuff , the experts say... take a walk ...just keep your distance...of course, did the super market thang, for the week...egads, there was NO TP! ...but, everything else was in supply... so we are set for another...week... I will not give you stats upon stats of the virus...go to most any T...
