The NBA is an elongated series of repeated games...where the hoopdom is really way too long...way too long...however, it is all about the money, right?...and my, how the league makes just that!...I digress...the playoffs do carry a lot of TV coverage...and we watch....in droves...here are my pix...and feel real strongly about them... The best series?... the Clips and the Warriors ...basically a tossup...until the big guy went down for GS...and the inside game of Blake Griffin will be the diff...however...Coach Doc has to be creative with the post...as C Dr Dunk has the worst FT % in the entire league...and the GS coach will use the hack a shaq...bewilders me how a guy can be that bad from the line...try underhand...something... will go 6 ...take it to the bank... Houston and PDX ...just may be a sweep...for the Rockets...inept defensive coaching is the diff...ha ha...as some of the Houston blokes play none themselves...should be an offensive show of fun proportions... Hey all...been in Santa Barbara staying at Cris and Leila's...as the good doctor was performing tricks on my teeth...a much needed situation I might add...and all turned out well... One of the nights we hit a Chinese Joint ...as we had just settled in...and being seated right next to us, was this guy that was way too familiar...and I told the table, Christopher from the Sopranos ...with his wife and son....who by the way, looked EXACTLY like Michael, er, his real name...er, his stage name....I really thought that Marsh was going to scream!...and did all she could to be held in check...she wanted to take a pix of Cris and Leila, with Michael in the background...apparently, they live there... And to continue the onslaught...as I was waiting for Marsh...she was getting teeth cleaning, too...hey, we have a Dentist son!...while I was at Starbucks, down the street from Cris's office in Montecito...there was one of them Baldwin Bros ...a hitting on a hot chick...to be fair, he M...

Morning kids...how are YOU doing?...am hitting the good dentist for some work... The last days of the regular season of the NBA is upon us...one of the rules that is in place...is the accumulation of the bloody technical fouls... once a player is dinged 16 times...he is suspended for a game ...over an 82 game schedule...well...the power hungry refs throw them out like candy...to be honest, the players deserve some of what they get...and there are some of the stripes that are just too tech happy...really not a huge deal...but just another "rule" that is arbitrary due to the lack of consistency of those who call 'em ...so says me... The Pads lost a close one last eve over at Petco...way too many opps missed...the pitchers did good enough to get the W...I know, get after me for this...but why oh why is Headley in the lineup?...continues to have no production...160 batting average...and leads the league in hitting into double plays ...we start the game with 4 straight h...

Give credit where credit is due... Bubba Watson ...whupped the field and won his 2nd Masters in the last 3 years... massive tee balls, that left him with short irons...was the difference ...and the 20 year old... Jordan Speith? ...2nd....had a great T and will be a major factor real soon ...not the high drama I was expecting, but still, real good stuff...oh yea, Bubba won $1.6 million ...hmmm... And the Pads ... won a series ...go figure...against a much better team in Detroit...actually we had some timely hitting...and the BB Gawds helped out ...in come the Rockies...well, you know...geez, my over-rated award again goes to Headley ...this time he had 3 errors in 3 games...not a fan...and...he's not batting over the mendoza....line ...I digress...look at me...find negatives in the positives...odd stuff here...Rivera caught the 2nd of 3...hmmm...and Hundley caught zero games...???...OK, it's a very long season... Gets down to the last game for number 8 slot...in the west...

I am blaming the picks I made for the Masters on Lefty ...really I am...got off the Jordan Speith train ...first time at the place... yadda yadda yadda ...and left off Kuchar cuz of his debacle in Houston...and then included the broken down Mickleson due to the way he can talk...geez... I blame myself... OK... the final pairing has Speith and Bubba ... a twitchy piece of work that just may win again...I don't think so ...the changing of the guard is upon us...as Jordan will create the new path of stardom...and the guy creating a stir will be Kuchar , just ahead of him...and who's this newly shorn kid out of SoCal,  lurking?...is that the Puma Boy? ...new coach, new kid, new results?...maybe... Rickey Fowler ...AND... LPGA dahlin, Paula, picked JS ...I go with her...
