So in our tiny little condo I am trying put together the best sound package possible. I still have the Bose 3-2-1 system and am figuring out the best way to mount the speakers. Bose has it's own speaker system and you can't add on to the system...so, make the best of it and find the perfect spot to put them up... The Beach Boys were awesome, as usual...the blend of the young guys and the originals is so much fun... Tiger Woods ...appeared to be human in yesterday's round as he missed a couple of 4 foot putts finishing off his round...then you notice he still emerges on top...he's just keeping the interest up... The Padres ...continue their torrid pace in a 4 -0 shellacking of the Diamondbacks... Iran is pushing the button on confrontations with the rest of the world...let's hope they allow the mediators to do their job... The more I think of it, I am excited about the Bears / Dux game at Eugene...another 4 -0 thinger favoring Cal...BUT, every year is a new ...

It's like the 5th or 10th time we've seen them and it never gets old...non stop music...the version of these lads contains Mike Love and Brian Johnston ... Brian Wilson has his own...as does Al Jardine ... Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson have passed on...it would be so rad if all the living ones got together and put on a concert...by the way, Al Jardine sounds great...so it's tonight at Humphrey's ... So I watched Ol' Miss last night and suspected their no. 5 ranking as a farce...east voters and all...yup, they were like a no. 5 player in the Pac -10... Are you getting your fill ...

Is it just me but isn't it time for the United Nations to become the governing body for this world? The US of A can not be the sole arbitrator...now I know that Britain and others put their stamp on it, but the rest of the world must step in...yes, and allow countries like Libya , with their outrageous leader, Colonel Ghadafi (?)...to speak out, oops...by the way, take a look at his power trip and he has waffled more than any US politician ever... Well, the gals were considerably better than the guys in this season's version of DWTS ...one of the favs will be Joann Krupa , lucky enough to be paired with Derek Hough ...the Olympic swimmer and Ozzy's daughter will be factors... The elder judge was a bit cranky last night and was annoying...and OMG !!! Was Macy Gray high or what? As Prez O goes about his business we are blessed with his gift of gab...there is a lot of stuff going on in the world...as example, the bloke in Colorado ...back and forth from Afghanistan...just why do we allow his type in our country? Just a few short miles from the border of Mexico there is major conflict going on....the inability of their government to control the gangs there may just spill over to this country...it will stop the crossings of Mexicans into this land and create another type of problem here...mainly not having enough workers to do the jobs the US people don't want to do...I have a republican friend up in Orygun who say...

Pardon me boys (and girls) but the crop of men on Dancing With The Stars are clunkers...the 2 exceptions are Donnie Osmond and Aaron Carter ...feel for Cheryl Burke as she is stuck with Congressman Tom Delay ... The women go tonight and they have nowhere to go but up ! Nothing but defensive comments coming from Norv Turner in his latest debacle...if you're real keep your mouth shut and get ready for the next one... I purposely say very little about the Padres as they continue their rebuilding for next season...but they did win 3 of 4 at Pittsburgh ...even though Heath Bell continues his struggles at closing games out... Headley had a 5 hit game and the Pads had 3 dingers...off to Colorado to see if the climb goes on... The PGA cranks back up to finish off their playoffs...and I don't have a clue how it's done...but if Tiger shows up he'll probably win...which is the way in any tournament...so why have this thing? So you control the ball for 45 out of 60 minute...

The preparation that you go through is all about what to do in prime time ...what is the play or plays that will work when the game is on the line...hey, that's the fun of coaching ...that's why you do it...whether it's by hours of video watching or by hours of relentless practicing...it's what you do...it's what Ray Lewis of the Ravens reacted to in the closing moments of their Charger game yesterday...the tendencies were there and he made the final play that keyed their victory...it's what you are coached to do... the Baltimore Sun ran an article about the ineptitude of the brain trust of the Bolts ...saying that the Chargers are near imploding due to the lack of coaching... An overabundance of time was spent on the injuries to the Chargers and how they were undermanned in the lines...OK, they had a week to try to mend the situation and do what they can to get ready for their next foe, the Ravens ...and the Ravens did have success early running the bal...

Nothing like shockers for the collegiate football scene this past weekend... 9/19/09 .... 1st of all the Wazzu came back and got their 1st win in a long time with a beaut beating SMU ... U Dub took it to the Trojans in the great northwest (another loss up there Coach Carroll)...as this blogger thought it may happen... The Dux knocked off the Utes (people called it an upset, yet they were favored)...say what?... A big ten team beat Arizona ...always a coup... The Beavs got drilled by Cincy ...OMG...Big East power... ASU beat a paddy cake... Florida St. drilled BYU ....as I predicted (in Utah)... and... UNLV came back to beat Hawaii in a who had it last game... Which brings me to my pix... 3-2 and an overall 11-4 for the season... Gone but not forgotten, my fav Jake Peavy , got his 1st win pitching for Prez O's White Sox ... The Bolts host the Ravens today...and just got bad news that their nose tackle is out for the year... STILL ...the Chargers win this one...PRive...
