CRAZY HORSE

Greetings all!…as we take a breath, from scurrying about with the kids…we are in Cosmo, resting…while the kids get outta the house…hoping that least one of them, falls asleep…yesterday was a whirl wind, and something I am not free to write about…so be it… This the date of the attempted coup by donny and the do wrongs…of which he just may, join his pawns in the pokey…eventually…a blight to our glorious history of the country…unbelievably, there are forevers still going to vote for the foo… Cosmo is our 2nd home… as we adapt, change, and learn to live in it…still…so much more convenient for us, rather than a singular spot somewhere…and, the price is right…you do know we are on a fixed income… orange will get his day with SCOTUS in February…isn’t that the month of the rat?…I get confused on that stuff… Horrible… the fuselage blowout of the Alaska Airlines plane… a NEW max…cmon Boeing, this can’t happen, ever!…AA has grounded all the new Maxes…no kidding… The line on the Natty game?…4 1/2 ...

As we settle into the depths of the so called 'WINTER' , referring to the cold, wet, frost delayed days of January ... it brings about the need for a hot cup of coffee to start each and every day off...right ...with all the weather apps at our disposal, on our cell phone, the need for the weather person on the pixels has been greatly diminished...we ALL have a clue to what is in store for us...in lieu of looking out the window...glancing at the sky, and wondering what's what... This notion of global warming stirs my innards greatly...as the northerners usually are blanketed with the white stuff by now...as our mountains are, too...however, it is LATE this year...predictable? ...as the earth's temp has been rising...not exactly sure what is the solution...but, finally, the east is going to get a snow storm...like in Philly, the first in a year and a half...I just lurve to watch football games, that are played in that condition...on the tele, mind you...just watch it....

With all the bing, bang, boom, for the now Washington Huskies ...as they play for the Natty...I am going to take you back to the 70's...actually THE 1970 ... that the Dawgs had this QB that had ties to Oregon, and was always referred to as diminutive.... shoot, the guy was 5'11" ...actually my height...the rad thing about him, was he went to Ashland HS... and took over the reins of a struggling Huskie team ...that had gone 1-9 the previous season...he wanted to stay in state, but the Bevos past on him (too short, said the really short Beaver coach Dee Andros)... Washington got him and led them for 3 years...his name? ... SONNY SIXKILLER ... the Dawgs gave him #6 ...how creative...and, for youse, that know me... he is Cherokee Indian...born in Oklahoma...Indigenous ...whatever...and still with us, at the age of 72...I just read this back, and I did not say...this... as he was a terrific quarterback! ... Nowadays, the QB's last in the colleges a lot of years...the cu...

The Horse sees things that we all see, the only possible difference is that I write about it...take the semis in D-1 Football ...the match ups were extremely close... Michigan was better than Alabama ...but, it took OT to prove it...and WTH, was that last play of the Tides in OT?...after 2 timeouts, and THAT'S what they came up with?...deserved to lose...and then, the Dawgs  surviving against Texas ...seemingly had it, and tried in vain to give it back to the Longhorns...listen, all you old school defensive coordinators out there...why you insist that rushing 3 or 4, and sit back in prevent...and then get picked apart is the best D...you are off your rocker...anyhoo, it is Michigan vs Washington for the Natty next week...in Houston, of all places... Ducks humbled Liberty ...the team that should not have even been in the mix at all...c'mon, BSBCS, get a grip on things...did NOT see any of this...you know, on the links...thought I would get back for the 2nd half...got home j...

2024...here we come ... alas, the Horse was down and out by 9...and now, up at 1:30...in the New Year. ..as per usual, we watched all we could from the pixels...ie, from Nashville...who were those 'stars' anyway?...the country ones I like were nowhere to be found... ended up most of the time watching the sillies on CNN ...oh well, it was fine...ah, where were the fireworks?...saw none of that...the Ryan Secrest telecast?...weren't many of those 'singers' lip syncing?...Milli Vanilli?... I have a clue for the NFL owners and their drafts for quarterbacks ... think real hard about who your backups are...as they are the ones that finish off the season ...14 of the top 18 teams, are using backups as I write...something like that...even with all the protection the QB's get...it ain't enough from getting hurt...it is a brutal game, kids... I can not even fathom to tell you how noisy it is in the city (town?) this am ...people all over...still...yelling, screaming.....

So the New Year is a coming...many of you will venture out to a party, or a street fair of sorts...to celebrate the end of '23 and the hopes of '24 ...right?... the rest of us, will be glued to the pixels and WATCH celebrations throughout the World...the pageantry, the crowds, and the fireworks...and music...the younger generations doin their thang...all cool...we fit into the pixel group ...I dunno kids, with all the hatred running about, going to a mass thing, is very testy...anyhoo, to get yourself in the mood (you GET in the mood)... I recommend a video by one of my favs, Little Big Town ...the title is indicative of the nite before us... 'Wine, Beer, Whiskey' ...you are welcome... You know I ragged on the Beavers in their bowl game show...really, not the fault of the guys and coaches who were there...the others? ...yea...hate the portal...and then...
