The Horse is up early...it's a R&R day to get ready for the SB trip...however, did get out to play at golf yesterday with the boys...who humiliated me yet again...dang this left calf is lingering...there you go, my excuse for the time being...but, true... Rex Tillerman, our Sec of St ...was in Moscow...and got an earful from the Russians. ..reportedly... was told to not bomb Syria again ...is this one of them or else things?...this is all so confusing to moi...I don't understand diplomacy so much...especially now... Hey ya"ll...a short one today, as we have a ridiculous tee time at 7:37 ...just barely sunup...which means I leave here at 6:37...egads... The Padres went into Colorado and got game number 1...just wondering, when is the last time we have won the first game of ANY series, TWICE in a row? ...used pretty much the entire pitching staff...as the scheduled starter went on the DL...and...our All Star, Wil Myers , acted like one... hit for the cycle. ..only the 2nd Pad in history to do so...way cool... PDX did get slot number 8 ...this is good...they play the Warriors...this is not so good...NBA West... News out of SDSU ...the legendary hoops coach, Steve Fisher, resigned ...he has had a coach in waiting on staff to take over...much like what the Duckees have done in the past in football...ah hem, not this last time around, however... San Bernardino ...think they haven't had enough drama?...now a school shooting ...wasn't that long ago they had the terrorist shooting...

No better finish to the Masters than this one...as the final pairing was on their game... Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia ...who took turns taking the lead...and, of course, it went OT... SERGIO got his first major...ever...have to admit, I liked it...and there is no more gracious loser than Justin...they both were hitting great shots... Unfortunately, the great American hope duo of Rickie and Jordan ... fizzled ...here's my take...when one of 'em tanks (Spieth) the other one gets dragged down...the case yesterday...too bad, as Fowler started fine...but Spieth was terrible...and Rickie then wobbled about... However, you can't take away the efforts of the top two. ..they were simply fantastic and played superbly...terrific show...and the drama was the best... Ole ... For all the hullabaloo of the Demos in their attempt to delay the coronation of the new Supreme Court Justice, Neil Gorsuch , it would appear to me that it was a complete waste of time...and...it'...

The final day at Augusta ...no place in golf better...once a year, the coveted green jacket is won by a deserving bloke...it is the Super Bowl...it is the grand champ...for the Championship of the World!...ok, you get it... The Masters ... The field is bunched... Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia are leading...but...non-winners there...and moving into contention, is Jordan Spieth , already a champ...hanging on is the San Diegan, Chas Hoffman ...lawdy, there are others sniffing around...so close...one of them will catch that crazy part of sport (and politics), MOMENTUM ....and put on that jacket... the winner gets almost $2 million, to boot ...wowser...oops, I failed to include Rickie Fowler. ..hey, he's a real possible...sorry, Puma ... NBA final places for da playoffs... PDX beat up the Jazz in the PNW...pretty much won a lock on the spot to meet...the Warriors...not sure if that is winning...anyway, Dame Lillard, went on a streak and scored the most that any Blazer ever ha...
