Ricky Barnes is the round 2 leader and he is part of the group that got to play in the ideal conditions ...as compared to the other half of the field who played in the miserable muck ...golf is not all skill ...sometimes luck ... Tiger , Lefty , and well, everybody else has a lot of ground to make up... Are you following what's going on in Iran ? It's worse than what we think... Well, I have watched them for countless years and we are seeing them again at Humphrey's in September... Lefty has begun 1 under ...early...I watched a PGA tourney back a bit where Tiger beat May in OT and noticed how small Tiger looked ... interesting ...just not that long ago ... The unrest in Iran will boil over after the Iranian Supreme leader spoke... It is weird not having a paper delivered to my doorstep every day...more than that , I miss it ... Have to search the web plus the boob tube for my news... I almost cut my hair ...

I am afraid that Iran is going to civil war ...and, I'm not sure who is the side that we should be pulling for ...I hope the people can withstand the political crap that is going to erupt... Just watched the Padres pull out an OT win over the Mariners to avoid the sweep ...my hero, Kooz , got the winning hit and all is happy in SD ...ugh for now... AGonzo 4-4 ...why does anybody pitch to him ? The weather is not conducive for golf at the open in New York ...the course is brutal enough without all that rain... they'll probably have to play 36 tomorrow .... It's bright and sunny here in the great NW ...

Due to the fact that the Padres were hosting the Seattle Mariners I got to see my pathetic Padres play last night...and Kooz had the only hit going in to the 9th for SD ...it was another drubbing , this by another poor team, 5-0... And I do miss the Trib as that is a real newspaper ... Not sure where Country Music is heading if that is the best it has ...at the CMT Music Video awards ... What on earth is the Houswives in NJ Show doing in but one family ? Their uprising resembled a Sopranos sit down ... Hit the links yesterday with the wife and had a great time...16 holers we were... I hate the waiting period of selling your house ... We saw an early Russell Crowe movie "The Sum Of Us" that had to do with dealing with gay issues...he was young and it was a breakthrough type movie for him and the Aussies , I think... The LA Lakers easily conquered their 15th NBA crown yesterday at Orlando .  Superior defense and of course, Kobe, led the Lakers to the best of the best showdown... Why do people seem to think the thing to do after a championship is to riot and tear up the city they are so devoted? Woeful, pitiful, lackluster, effortless, outclassed. ...adjectives of the lowly Padres as they got swept by the Angels for a combined score of 27-7 in but a 3 game series... Did you expect anything less for an election in Iran ?  One side says it was rigged , the other says they won with a huge majority , and the loser fears for his safety ...
