Fer a good long time now , there has been this cousin of mine...that has been digging into the family tree...searching archives, everywhere...finding pictures of great great, well, you know, mothers and fathers...and on and on...my mom's side... the Santee Sioux ... John LaVelle ... a law professor out of New Mexico ...in preparation for writing a book about the lineage... Often seen on his Facebook posts ...he and his mate, Monte Deer Carden , seem to be everywhere...meeting up with people and doing more and more research...well, it was our turn...as they were in San Diego for a convention ...we had the good fortune to meet up for a couple of sessions...the work he has done is overwhelming... he and Marsh gandered at what she had...a 'book' of our ancestors ...from my mom's side to my dad's...and her parents, too...that she has made for our son...it is in itself, amazing... John shared some marvelous pix of the ancestors ...one, in particular, was as clear ...

What the heck is going on in the land of Paradise? ...the New England Patriots ...the NFL's premier franchise...or so it seems... blockbuster pooh out of the likes of ESPN ...that there just may be a crack in the perfect egg ...oh my...the triad of power...the QB Tom Brady, the owner Bob Kraft, and the coach Bill Bellycheck (sic) ...appears, according to the article, that two of the three are seeing eye to eye...and one is not... BOMBOGENISIS ...this weather phenomena...that is set to hit the east coast...probably in New England...extreme drop in low pressure...creating a cyclone effect...thus, the name most given to it... 'The Bomb Cyclone' ...crazy high winds, plus, loads of that snow stuff...in the bitter cold...well, there you go...the cold, is up and down the coast... but, this Bomb will hit the NE ... And all we want on this other coast, is to get some rain...any rain...any moisture ...this is just a weird, weird, weather pattern in our country...right now... Whatever it takes to get these two countries to talk ... North and South Korea ...trying to join hands and unite as one for the....get this... Olympics ...what?...I must be misreading the statements out of the two lands... did you read the ridiculous tweet about the bigger button, by Prez T? ...oh my, in reference to the Foo's button on his desk...ah heck, ...

A good while back, I was expounding upon the fact that is this...in D-1 Football , that it is 'Bama and everyone else ...as they thoroughly whupped last year's champ, the Clemson Tigers ...to get back into the champ game...this time versus my bowl pick, Georgia ...who narrowly beat Oklahoma in 2 OT's ...BTW, a great game to watch...here's the Horse's take... The final solution is for expansion in the playoff numbers...a team like UCF 'upset' Auburn...who has beaten two of the this year's final 4...and it was no fluke...Ohio St could beat any of the chosen ones...throw in the notion, that most of these bowl games are worthless, just ask the participants who opt out of them ...however, I bet there are coaching contract incentives...get to a bowl, and they make more $...I digress... How'd you ring in the newest of the years?... 2018 ...we had a problem, Houston...we started early...as we ventured out to Callaway to pick up our shipment of wine...you know, we are CLUB members...lah tee dah ...and...after an extended tasting time...and 4 more bottles to tote home...let's just say, it is very fortunate that it is walking distance home... Watching the east coast, in particular, Manhattan ...do the New Year thing sufficed...lawdy, it was coooollld there ...tried to stay up for all the 'ball dropping' thinger...did so with CNN and their doofus hosts ...but, ABC and Fox , did a delay bit for us west coasters ...boo...thus, did NOT see the infamous Mariah Carey song...or, Britney's rendition of her past hit, for that matter...boo...thus, can't do the Horse review on either of them... Will say that, there was so much noise at midnight here in the Q , that it did awake us...these party animals...imagine, here at the home...the partiers...

As this year comes to a close, are you one of them peoples...that will seek out and attempt...the dreaded New Year RESOLUTIONS!? ...hmmm, you know, the things that you should be doing...but are not...why does it have to be now?...can't you do these things, all the time?...in essence, you are Changing Your Life Style ...so, it takes a change in the calendar year to prompt you?...maybe... Eating more healthy ...duh...aren't we always on this mission?...less fatty foods...more grains...more vegetables...organic, of course...less red meat...less sugar, but don't replace it with the substitute...fat free milk...spend countless hours reading the labels...assuming they are telling the truth...for goodness sakes, making your own food...thus, you know what's in it...but, c'mon...aren't we trying to do this all the time?...
