Bombshell news ...as the combo owners of the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers have secretly paired up big bucks and bought land in La La land ...specifically in Carson...with the intent of building a football stadium that they will share... been in the works for over 9 months ... Here in SD, the owners of the Bolts , have been playing a cat and mouse game with the mayor ...suggesting that if the right deal came along, that the club MAY be in...well, in the last couple of months, the dialog cooled...and the ownership seemed almost belligerent...of course, they were... they had an alternative site in their bag... The NFL must have known these shenanigans all along ...and like other pathetic judgments or non-judgments, the league goes on it's merry way...and does whatever it damn well pleases...doesn't surprise me much...there is no stopping it's domination... don't get too attached to your team, kids... I recall back when we moved down here, I was me...

It's the perfect storm...in the NBA...the game is going on and is a good one...change of leads, fast breaks ( a lost art), inside and outside scoring, decent offensive sets being used...in the regular season...hmmm...well, now, it is the Spurs and the Clip Show... And then POOF!...the legendary coach of San Antone, Pop, decides to change things up and does the momentum and game breaker, Hack a Shaq ...well, in this case, it is the Hack a Jordan ...the Clip's incredibly poor FT shooter... This is a method of play (?) where the Spurs immediately grab Jordan wherever he is...and puts him on the FT line...and he usually misses...like a 43% success rate...and the game stalls...horribly...well...did it work?...you can use the tactic until the last 2 minutes...and that's what happened...it turned out to be a 2 minute fray...which LA did win... It's over and TNT turns to it's analysts... which included the one and only SHAQ! ...he's ticked that it's happenin...

Hey, hey...morning kids...sometimes there is a new bright light that emerges out...and there is a dandy... Meghan Trainor ...really...we go to a ton of concerts...well, a lot of 'em...and usually we have the same comment...I'd love to be their agent...and make their show much better than we just watched...well...not this girl... Whoever has her, is doing it the right way ...full of energy, uniqueness, fun...and catchy tunes...we saw her at the SD House of Blues...rather small...but, it was a sell out...and alive...really alive...you must catch the act...it's on the rise... I can't make this up...the lead in band is one out of Australia ....called...get this... Sheppard ...what?...and their hit song is "Geronimo" ...I'd be lying if I wasn't telling the truth... Very sad news out of Blazer land ...as ex Rip City member, Jerome Kersey, passed away ...not much explanation as to how...other than he recently had a knee op...not sure if there is a co...

OK, kids, it's time for my trash path...as I will talk about the show, The Bachelor. ..first of all, it's the worst I've seen for a while ...really?...yup...no pop...as far as I'm concerned...and his choices are dwindling...and he took them to his hometown in Iowa...a tiny lil place of 400... The gals were aghast at the plight ...of the city...most everything is closed down...and the glitz and glamour of Hollywood it is not...it would take a special lady to want to give up LA, or big city life, and move there... I'm not saying small town is bad ...it's just so diff from what most of the gals that are on that show seem to want...his eventual pick (turn away, if you don't want to know), has to give up a passion and great job in Chi-town...really?... 2ndly, he has a difficult time speaking ...feel like I'm listening to Marlon Brando at times... Lastly, it's supposed to be the launching pad for the jilted ones ...to become the next Bachelorett...

This month always seems to speed by...maybe cuz it has the fewest days in it...it's already the 15th, huh...so I had a whole gaggle of time...so I watched the Pebble Beach thinger... Turned out I was scratched from the T out at Sycuan ...didn't know it until I got all the way out there...some mix up...boo...so hopped back in the rig and headed home...not sure how that happened...but oh well... There were a bunch of youngins in the Pro Am ...many country singer peops... like a guy from Rascal Flatts, and one from Lady A...and Jake Owens...and on and on...as well as Huey Lewis...and of course, Bill Murray ... and some sports guys...some SF Giants...and the QB from KC, even Larry the Cable Guy ...it was fun to watch those blokes play...for the most part, dang good swings...and the pros...having a field day up there...with the great weather...and little wind...like 18 under, or thereabouts...ancient Jimmy Furyk leading the pack...go figure... NBA All Star game this eve....
