With our heat wave, no better song to catch it... by them Beach Boys ... 'The Warmth of the Sun' ...up and down out west coast...gosh, you know it is summer...we are supposed to get it, right?...well now, it is here...arrived...for at least the next 10 days ...often accompanied by the thunder and lightning show...not so much here, but inland for sure...love to watch it, but hate to be in it...our trips to Florida have been at times, terrifying...cuz of the storms...Mother Nature at work...work?...well, she just does her thang... The heat is on...like in the PGA T in North Carolina ...they are expecting them storms...thus, they moved round 3 up...like at daybreak...to escape the impending doom...if you are a follower, the dudes are already well into their rounds...seriously, like 12-15 guys in the hunt...many, without a win on tour...perhaps, their first... 'play well'. ..the common phrase used... The game of games for PDX ...in the bubble...NBA...this morning at 11:30....

When backed up against a wall...you know, the Trump wall ...he does what he has always done... emits lies and hatreds as fast as his mini-brain can produce 'em ...sure enough, that is where he is right now...trying to find enough mud to sling, that his base will rise up...and shove him out of the garbage that exists at the base of his...so desired border wall...what can he do?...what can he say?... 'Jared, let's try the birther thing again'. .. 'worked for us with Obama, let's do the same with KaMAHla' ...and yes, kids...this is the latest ploy of Huge Orange ... The next in line is the defunding of the postal service ...in hopes, that the mail in voting process will be so slow that it can't deliver on time...give us all a break...and his base, rolls right with it... delusional...almost hypnotic to false reality. ..which makes this worse, is that he makes no bones about his ploy... he would limit, even debilitate the mail delivery for the ENTIRE USA, to ...

These will be trying times ...the next 90 days or so...the polarization has already begun...the extremes...the name calling...the accusations...the use of the media for propaganda...the countless television ads...this is the time that the political junkies get involved...on both sides...it's what they do, every four years...it is THEIR job...find the skeletons...exploit them...glorify even the tiniest of truths, or lies... Brace Yourself ...it occurs each and every presidential campaign... Now I said both parties...am excluding Kanye's thing ...as he admitted to talking to Jared most every day... a plant by Donny ...trying anything to take some voters away from Joe Biden...just another ploy, kids... The Democrats had center stage yesterday...with Biden/Harris doing the unveiling of their unity...I am biased and I fully admit it... the past 3+ years have been tragic, destructible, and downright deplorable. ..the speeches by Joe and Kamala were spot on... hers, as the VP pick,...

In my euphoric, jubilant scream at the top of my lungs, as to the news of the pick for the Demo VP... KAMALA HARRIS! ...Marsh, was in the back room, and wanted to know what was up...what's the noise all about?...a perfect choice to combine for the ticket...to solidify a strong Democratic Party... Biden/Harris...2020 ... She was my pick for the top spot , back when the primaries were started up...didn't happen...as Joe emerged...listen, kids...there were some other really great options, too...this one makes the most sense...and, for sure... The Race Is O n ... I posted in Facebook, just the name of Kamala Harris! ... the arteries of polarization reared their ugly heads...trash talking is one thing, but name calling another...however, that is the battle line that has been established by Trump...ah, for over 4 years now...it is a pattern that will only grow...especially as he fine tunes his negativity...observing even more so... these are my 'friends' that are commentin g...

Hey, ya'll...just can't believe it has been 14 years   (2006!) that I have written this blog ...time has whizzed by...it started with an idea... often, I had to search far and wide for topics ...geez, not now... have to sift through the copious amounts of stuff that are out there ....quite often due to Huge Orange ...and his countless Tweets and blabbers, that titillate us all ...in negative and positive forms...then, this pandemic...it's arteries that affect every single one of us...in way too many ways...anyway, I thank you for hanging in there with me... I hope you enjoy it...pass me on, if you'd like ... it's just one man's opinion ... Russia is boasting that they have a VACCINE for the virus! ...they are saying this...that Putin himself is using it on a family member. ..the USA skeptics are countering with that there is not enough testing to start it up...yet...interesting, as Orange was touting some crazed solution 3 months back...without proper testing....

When the stars start to fade...it happens, kids... the legends are either getting whupped, or they are losing their once prodigious powers ...in any sport...the line most often used, is 'NEXT UP' . ..meaning, there are others primed and ready to ...take over...we are human beings...and that's what happens...time can be a mean creature...of fate...perhaps, reality... The PGA T in SF ...at times there were 7 or 8 guys TIED at the top in the final round...but, the youth persevered... a very hot and confident Cal Bear grad won ...again...with clutch, grandiose shots...that separated him from the masses...23 yrs old...a major...this is no fluke, kids...he is a goodun'...could, well, may be the face of the near futu...

The PGA Tourney in San Francisco. .. where Tony Bennett lost his heart...er, or, left it. ..as the Pros are trying to get the season's first MAJOR ...fuggit about the notion that one of two, Tiger or Lefty , will win it...in fact , Lefty (Phil, who really is a righty) went up into the announcers perch...and called the 'action' for a while...he was mighty entertaining, kids. ..perhaps, where he should be...I digress...no, really...the field is still bunched... DJ has the 3rd round lead, but nuttin is for certain...at this course...tight fairways...ridiculous roughs...which, even the best can double out of... the fall of Jordan Spieth, is so sad...Rickie, too...it's a tough game and profession, ya'll... On the 2nd hole in MY round yesterday...I stiffed a PW to 3 feet...took out me brand spanking new, Ping putter ...and pulled it left...the crowd went wild...laughing all the way to the 3rd tee box... 'throw that damn thing away' ... 'can you take it back?...
