Much to my surprise, once I got home from the links...just happened to turn on my Tee Vee, and voila!...the US Open was on Natty, NBC ...the course, appears to be dried out...some ugly sand coming off of fairway shots...and the greens themselves...are brutal...I know the USGA wants fast greens, but these are extraordinary...the telecast pretty much followed the plight of Tiger Woods...and his failed attempt at making the cut...fans just want to see Tiger...NBC knows that... The leaders, are the guys who have been in the elite this whole season...minus, Scottie Scheffler. ..who barely made the cut...would not be surprised that the eventual winner, might be the only player UNDER PAR!... As expected, the 4th game of the NBA finals...was a waste ...well, for the viewers and the Celtics...who mailed this one in...the Mavs won by 38...ho hum, boring...but not for the Dallas faithful in attendance...will say, that Dallas was super motivated and earned it...even saw Luka guard a guy...although...

The high drama of setting up the new television...shoot, I'm not sure what they are really called anymore...well, it was the same brand...Samsung...and it is amazing!...stunning!...the picture is beyond what I had hoped for...even tho, I did see similar ones at Costco and BestBuy...it's like watching commercials on how the fast food looks...and then when you take it home, it is a far cry...in this case, a beaut...QLED...perhaps, you already have one...so you know what I am talking about...if not, get on down to the local Tee Vee store and see for yourself....a perfect Father's Day gift...for all... Must lead with the NBA finals playoff...as the Boston Celtics went into Dallas, and got game number 3 ... no one, no team ever...in the history of the NBA, has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit ...and won the championship...that being said...let's get into the game...it was a game of surges...the Mavs starting quickly...then the Celts...and in the 3rd stanza, it appeared that Boston had wrapped up the game, up by 21...and breezing...the Mavs closed back and it was a nail biter... THEN, Dr Flop, er Luka Doncic, took his team out of it ... falling on 2 straight possession, tryin to flop his way to the FT line...in lieu, gave up 2 easy buckets...what is more taxing on the Mavs...he FOULED OUT with 4 minutes to go...listen, kids...for that to happen...for a guy who doesn't play a bit of defense...is truly amazing...he is a statue on D ...to compare him to the Beard, that makes Hardin an all star defensive player...yup, he is that bad... 12 years ago... one of the most tragic mass murders happened in Connecticut...recall 'Sandy Hook?' ... the date was actually December 14, 2012...the elementary school ...and now... THE SURVIVORS are graduating high school...carrying with them, is the never forget terror they witnessed...which will be with them FOREVER...as we continue, we meaning the USA's Congress...continue to do very little to stop these tragedies...the NRA has the Congressionals right where they want them....by their lobbyists buying their votes...you know my feeling about this... these are those, that did not survive... Watching the Friars via the TV...I heard this awesome sound coming from the back deck...er, side deck...wait, the cooking deck...whatever... it was FIREWORKS on the Bayfront! ...what, why, wassup with that?...no idear...but, it did make for a very festive evening....yes, here in SD...
