CRAZY HORSE

This was a nice change to the day. ..and highly needed...some good news...as ESPN aired the ladies pro hoops draft...which is called the WNBA ...3 of the first 8 taken, were all from the same collegiate team...the mighty Ducks of Oregon! ...has that happened before?...the gals were Ionescu, Sabally, and Hebard ....listen to this...the GM's of the league were ready, too....as the 3 rounds were done...finished...completed...in less than 40 minutes!...36 players ...is there any other draft that is that efficient, in ANY league?...nope... Want more?...there is a study that was just released...that SUNLIGHT , heat and humidity will conquer this virus...! ...of course, this will hit the rest of the planet very soon...we now hope and pray for the summer...if true,  but Lordy, we have had lots of studies...awaiting the inoculation for the bloody thing...can't tease you this much...Yahoo news released it...and it is based from Seattle... One of the concepts that we fear around here...with some intentions appearing fair and just ...is a POLICE state ...as there has been an increase in the bloody yellow caution tape ...thrown all over the parks...in a direct order to 'not congregate' or else... the parks, the beach, the whatever ...but, perhaps they went a bit too far... closing off the area where the dogs do their duty ...a smallish area a block away from our condo...what is their idea?...go on the streets?...I get the notion of self quarantining...but... they are getting off base ... all the while, the street people roam wherever they want...this rambles in me brain, 'ticket those who can pay'. ..something is askew. .. OK, I am usually a positive Horse ... but, this gets me fired up ...but, politicians can be a too much for me...and their orders can be intrusive...and ridiculous at times...ah, just look at whatever Donny says...he is the example for many to follow... c'mon leaders, get a grip....

Wouldn't it be nice? ...if we could actually be in a Throwback Thursday ...and live in those times?...hey, that is one of my all time favorite songs, sung by them Beach Boys ... 'Wouldn't It Be Nice'. ..in our gaggle of watching them perform, they always sing it...and the fans go 'ape shit crazy' ...wait a minute, what does that phrase mean, and why does one use it?...I digress...my point is, that we were in such lovely times, not that long ago ...and we long for those days...yearn for them...right?...they will come, kids...they will return... This may be the theme of the day....but, last nite in the 8 o'clock celebration of the solidarity ...it seemed like there were more participants than ever...it went on for 5 minutes or so...really, heartwarming...from our outside speaker, we played 'Stand By Me' at full volume...not sure if the masses could hear it, to give you an idea about the noise factor...the song was made famous by Ben E King ...you ...

So exciting to see the sun pop thru the southern Cali skies yesterday!...even more of it today, as we rejoice!...took a 'legal' bike ride down by the bay, via the bike path...all the way up to the airport...so refreshing, kids... the masks adorned, made it a bit more difficult a trek , but to get out and exercise, all worth it...passed by one of the 2 cruise ships docked at the bay ...and saw people, still encamped aboard.. .supposedly Colombians, that can't get back to their homeland ...not quarantined...and then, I took some photos of the beautiful water and skyline ... This was the day, that the stimulus checks were to be sent out...and, of course, there was a hang up... Donny felt the need to have his name splattered on them ...so, the Treasury Department, ordered it... 'they' say the checks will not be delayed due to the addition of his Trump on them...when and if we get one, will be the fastest I will ever cash it...with all that crap on it...ah, bad ...

Call me Crazy...ah, H-O-R-S-E , as this actually worked!... ESPN tried a Zoom type of hoops game. ..one vs one, in a game of HORSE ...you shoot, they have to make, if they miss, they get a letter, eventually to spell out, HORSE ...and then, whoever gets that, is da loser...c'mon, you know all about the game...started with 8 players of now, and yesteryear...guys and gals. ..all sequestered, with hoops outside their home...with commentary, in between... it was diversionary fun ...the 2nd level is on Thursday, ah, the winners...check it out...some of the 'big' names got whupped, ie, Chris Paul III, Paul Pierce, and Trae Young... Back in me coaching days, like when I was an assistant...not the boss...I would play the game with players... I always won ...they choked...ha ha... the Horse was the HORSE champ ... More disturbing news out of DC ...as the hot rumor is that Donny wants to fire Dr Fauci ...he just doesn't get it, does he?...how can this guy live with hims...

It's Easter Sunday ...as we all shelter in place... hoping...praying...for a cure for this horrific virus that surrounds the World... It's a test for us all...as the churches preach , that 'Jesus Christ has risen!' ... without parishioners in their midst ...whether you are a believer or not, the message is powerful ...and as worthy as anything out there...take some time to figure it all out... it is up to you, and only you, to take the meaning to heart... 'Hallelujah' ...he recommends two versions, one by KD Lang , and the other by 2 Cellos. ..I listened to KD's and it was quite nice...could not find 2 Cellos...my personal fav of the song is by Jeff Buckley ...regardless, kids...it is riveting... That song was written by a Canadian, Leonard Cohen ...released in 1984...his version is totally different, mostly due to his lower voice...crackling sort of...and now you know...take some time this am, and play it on whatever yo...
