It wasn't that long ago that Mr. Peterman was working his groove out in the inaugural version of Dancing With The Stars ...actually it was John O'Hurley. ..and it turned in to a smash hit for ABC ...with a curious cast of judges that almost ruined what they had going...and, of course, there was a controversy in the outcome...as the winner was a soap opera star (forgot her name)...who's claim to fame was not only the winning, but her thinger popped out of her holder...there it is... the reason ...I digress...it has now progressed to a must watch TV phenomena...and the pro dancers have become like famous...like wow...just so happens one of mine, is Cheryl Burke (it's my blog, I'll picture who I want)...if you are a follower, you are very aware of this fact...anyhoo...every season there seems to be a bit of wonder of why some or many of the "stars" are chosen...or if they are really stars at all...I'm a little scared of listing some, cuz there are thos...

Hey, it's the game of the year ...this Saturday in Dallas...the Ducks versus the the Tigers ...geez, I hate when the opponent has had all the problems...seems to make the team rally around the base a bit better...and the hot rumor out of Looosiana is that they are NOT making special defensive schemes for Oregon ...that Auburn got away with being in their normal D, thus, so will they...you know, the Southeast has better football and all...so they say...WELL...we'll see...the thing about Coach Chip is he doesn't stay pat...expect more stuff...and I say...the Ducks will romp! MLB...good lord, the Padres are a miserable lot...blame it on the play station GM ...I have all year...consistent horrible moves of player personnel...as I have often talked about...as they are held to one run in another pathetic effort...and, what on earth is going on in Frisco ?  The Cubbies go in there and beat up on Lincicome ...and SF is now 5 back of the DBacks ...weird stuff... Well, how do I say turrible.... TURRIBLE ...the latest of award shows...this time it's the awkward one, the MTV's ...now, there are some that are OK, but for the most part...they try to top one another...get as outlandish as you can...that's the trick...and here's the catch....I'm just fine with that part of it...that's their schtick... but I'm offended by the hanger onners ...for what reason in the whole wide world would Kim Kardashian be invited to this?  I mean isn't she on her honeymoon?  Or is that not paid for?  I digress...and for crying out loud, enough of Justin Beeber ...biggest joke since the Jonas Bros ....back... Lady Gaga is really out there...now, this is a very creative gal...and, I try, but I just don't get rap...maybe it's my red blood...drums I can understand...enough of this.... The Padres go into Arizona and get swept...and the manager talks to how good the DBacks pitching is...fact is, it's the horrendous hitting ...

In our sleepy little beach , just a bit away from us...in Mission Beach ...it's the go to place for most of us sun worshipers...and there are a bunch of the surfers that dot the coast line...just a small problem...there appears to be a great white lurking...spotted by the lifeguards...it has closed down the water ways for the last two days...according to most of the locals...they are out there...just a little closer to shore now... Watched a flick last night that we had never heard anyone talk about... "Get Low" ...starring Robert Duvall , Sissy Spacek , and Bill Murray ...great...it's one of those that you have to rent and just enjoy...no, I'm not telling you a thing about it...it's soooo diff... Irene didn't pack the wallop that was feared...which is a good thing...and now most resembles a strong northwest storm...just makes you wonder what type of weather those easterners really go through... The Bolts at the Cards last night...don't tak...
