Finally, the summer has arrived!   And with it the frustrations and elations of the long MLB season...the Diamondback's Edwin Jackson threw a no-no gainst the Tampa (Devil) Rays ...with a whopping 149 pitch count , which included 8 walks...the Rays are fresh off a whupping by the Pads and are still hurting...got to think, if the Ariz squad was in the hunt, he would have been lifted after the 7th... Woooah!   The Cubs are struggling , as usual...and the former ace of their staff had a melt down...in front of all the baseball world... Carlos Zambrano , had another rocky start...fumed into the dugout, and called out his players for not making dives for the balls hit at them...oops, the wrong guy to attack. ..one Derrick Lee , the massive 1B, and leader of the team...chaos erupted...CZ was booted from the team for an indefinite time... oh my, the heat of summer... So, I don't get it ...the hour before the draft, the GM of the Blazer's is fired ...and he is to fulfill his obligations as the pro-picker before he leaves... what? ...I guess I am off the charts on that...regardless, he moves Martell Webster ...gets a shooter from Nevada (Reno) ...then in their real pick, gets a another guard from , get this, Nevada (Reno) !!!  Was that team any good?   I'm thinking they feel like they are going to sign a biggee from the available vets....like really?   I just don't get it.... I'm not sure what the rules of soccer are ...well, I have an idea, but the rulings leave me baffled...no wonder there are so many riots at these matches... Bachelor Jake is a flake...what is with the mess with his babe Vienna ?  The stories of this duo are legendary... cry me a river... NBA draft ...of course I am all eyes on what the Blazers do...rumor out of PDX is that they are moving Rudy for a higher draft pick...another, is that they are working a deal for PG Paul of N.O .....whatever, they'd like to ...

There is but one boss... the Prez ...and for the top general in the field to be so brazen as to speak his mind in a magazine...it would take a huge turn around for the Prez not to fire this guy ...I'm talking Stanley McChrystal ...I was listening to some fool on the Today show saying it was the general's war and it is succeeding...and to remove him would be wrong... OMG ...don't like any part of this and the only avenue is to get someone in there who understands the concept of chain of command ....I'm sure the jerk general expects that of his subordinates... There are so many book readers out there....and they are good...that only enhances you... ipad, Kindle, Nook , and more to come, by the likes of Samsung and Microsoft ...the books are downloaded from the net for $12 or less ...absolutely, an awesome thinger ...I have the ipad ...the most expensive of the lot, but it does a bunch more ...actually can replace the laptop for convenience...get to an Apple store and check it out...or go online and look at the book readers... you will not be sorry... Bachelorette ...poor Ali ...she has some real lulus to choose from...and, I suppose that's the way it's been for 3 or 4 years now...what's with the wrestler dude...did you see where last season's Bachelor Jake and his pick are split now?...surprise...naw...I heard that Kate Gosselin was going to be the next 'ette... Pebble Beach Open ...the survivor at even par , yup, I said even par...none other than Graeme McDowell ...as the golf world was collapsing all around him...he and only he, could muster up enough pars to get the win ... Dustin Johnson actually shot an 82 to wither...what a brutal set of greens this place had...watching the best just shake their heads after missed putt after missed putt, made me wonder, what do they really think?  No, this place is one that I would never play , regardless of price...but, $450... OMG... The Padres won another series beating the Orioles ...are 1 and 1/2 game up on the Giants ...travel to Florida for two series with the (Devil) Rays and the Marlins... coincidentally, so are we ...back to the Sunday father's day game...outside of a horrible defensive start by our 1B....two more non-charged errors and giving up 4 runs in the 1st...we battled back for 9 runs ...2 dingers by our new clean up guy, Nick Hundley , and Will "the thrill" Ven...

So the star duo combo of Lefty and Tiger took their turns at getting into contention at the pasture land , so affectionately called Pebble Beach ... BUT ...it's the long john, Dustin Johnson , that's dominating the field at 6 under...matching the miracle 66 of Tiger ...so...look back into time and I predicted this young man as the player to watch...hey, expect some cool stuff today ...you Tiger haters, turn away... No walk off win last night, but the stage was set for the Pads ...tying run on 3rd with one out and ... no cigar ...normally if we score 4 runs, it's a win in the books... we need a number 4 hitter ...in the worst way ...maybe have to look one of our closers...hate the thought...but, to win it all, we have to have cover for AGonzo...
