Make that 'combative' debating ...ah yes, the present day right and left arguments...our 2 party system in limbo... the base of it all...is the man sitting in the White House ...who triggers passionate responses...from the ones who support him, and the others, who don't... I get in the mix of it all ...lost in the rhetoric of what is thrown my way...I fail at keeping my cool in the onslaught of the information, misguided as it may be...see?...I can't just sit and absorb the statements...smile, nod me head, and blurt out "you may be right"...knowing full well, there isn't any way in the world, that that is so...I have to respond...usually with incredulous looks on my face, while I retort... Yes, the Horse gets an 'F' for lacking composure, and the art of the debate... OK, let's go... Trump was on the stump (ha ha) in Montana , doing a good deed for a fellow (?) Republican there, caught up in a battle for a spot in Congress...Matt Rose...

These are trying times , don't ya'll think?... the walls of the republic are apparently much thinner than this President would like...it's not like the ad for 'what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' ...nope, not one bit...but Trump would prefer that ...in HIS White House ...let's be very clear...the man has reached a breaking point... PARANOIA! ...listen, it is time for all of us to watch out for bizarre statements, actions, and directions from this guy...ha ha, I mean extremes... Morning all!...the 9th month of the year is upon us...back to work, back to school, back to...well, whatever ya'll do...this is our celebratory month for our, gulp, 44th Wedding Anniversary ...and, like for the past 14 years, we will hip hop over to Maui for the observance...shweet... Not sure the last time I enjoyed a team LOSING as much as I did last eve...as the 'one and done' former HC of the Ducks, Willie Taggart , got his arse handed to him ...let's stage this for ya...he came into Orygun, with high hopes and promises...used the social media like no other...posting pictures of his signed recruits, right along side of him and his smiling face... HYPE! ...wallowed about in a disappointing season...then, promised better...but...better was, only for him...as he bolted to Florida...left in the lurches, were a bevy of commitments, disgruntled players and fans...and took his smile to the Panhandle... Ah, the collegiate land of the tomahawk...the Florida St Semin...

Such was the exclamation of TVG's Todd Schrupp , as the final race out at Del Mar was finishing... 'SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED!' ...it appeared that one of the horses bolted, like 30 yards from the finishing line...threw the jockey...(horse and jockey are doing fine)...chaos ensued... you could hear the tat tat tat tat , on air. .. Everyone was running , somewhere to hide...sound familiar?...how many times have we talked about this sort of thing in the past, well, decade?... at schools, malls, theaters, concerts, churches, the list goes on ... SHOOTINGS! ...now, at a race track...where there is no metal checking system in place...I'm sure, there will be now... The setting was a bit odd for a day at the races...as one of the 'promotions' to get more people out to the track, is to offer concerts...at the end of the day...this one was for 'Ice Cube' ...a rapper...a popular choice who like that type of music...thus, the limit of tickets had been achiev...

Howdy, pardner!...I watched soooo much football yesterday....bits and pieces of a gaggle of games...and the RESULTS are in...I like the college gridiron...the atmosphere...the fans...the stadiums...the traditions...the pace of play....the list goes on... Here are my takeaways from yesterday's action... Beavers lost HUGE to the Buckeyes...gave up 77 points...however, I saw loads of improvement offensively...throw out the score, there is a positive step...Ohio St?...really really good...they might have beat ANYONE in the Nation yesterday... Cincinnati beat Chip's UCLA in LaLa Land...it will take time...but, if you can believe this...the Bruins are woefully thin at many spots...and the DC made a horrific mistake of too many players on the field in a CRITICAL sit... The Dawgs lost to Auburn...now, most pundits have UW winning the Pac 12...just don't think they have the QB for that...so, I disagree...BTW, Auburn is a very fine team...to be watched... West Virgi...
