CRAZY HORSE

How the heck are YOU doing?...it's the weekend, and YOU have to be doing great...start the day off right, with a little Horse, some pancakes, eggs, bacon and a cup of french roast...there YOU go, the perfect beginning... YOU still get a newspaper at your door?...or, are YOU one of many that get their news via the web net?...hmmm, or one of them who wait for the pixels to inform YOU ...maybe, YOU depend on the Horse for your latest and greatest... Today is the Derby ... the Kentucky Derby ...it is like the Masters in the PGA ...the, make that, THE event to win...20 hosses entered...run on the main track, not the turf...er, the grass...but on dirt...I have spent 3 days handicapping the race...yes, it's true...included is if there is inclimate weather...there is a 60% chance of precipitation ...in some areas that is a probable, not here in SD...but in Kentucky, I think so...so I have checked out which ones appear to like to run in the slop... Has to be terrible to ...

A staple...something that you watch all the time...and...you probably recognize every episode...the pixels conveniently air them when, you are off work...or dinner time...I can think of many in the past...MASH, Cheers, Happy Days, Seinfeld...and others...but how about this one... FRIENDS ... showed it's last 'good bye' version...get this...13 years ago today! ... thirteen? ...my how time passes...we STILL watch it...it's a comfy 30 minutes, don't you think?... The House...of Reps ...well now, the Repubs got their act together and passed the anti-Obamamcare bill ...hey, it was close...the conservatives celebrated...the Demos continue to lick their wounds from the Clinton mess...the Horse keeps gathering info on it... appears to moi that the insurance companies win out ...if this plan is the one...it's back to the free enterprise system...hmmm...on to the Senate to see what they think...it's not a done deal, kids...BTW, it sure looks like the heir apparent...

Morning kids...isn't it too early to have the rage in MLB? ...apparently not...seems like it emerges in the heat of the summer, as the season wears on...tempers get the best of the dudes...but NO!, it's going on right now ...Baltimore Orioles at the Boston Red Sox...just a myriad of things happening...alleged racial slurs directed toward a player...and... the bloody Bean Ball ... The awful act , unfortunately a part of history in the game... throwing the baseball at the opponent ...as a warning...yea, sometimes hitting a batter...on purpose...think about it... 90+ mph ball coming at ya ...say what you want, you purists, but IT HURTS! ...and that's what is going on in Bean Town...wow, is that name appropriate or what?...get rid of this part of the game... The Pads got their comeuppance last eve... slaughtered by Buddy's crew...11-3 ...geez, I keep saying that it is hard to justify the SD Pitcher Weaver, still chucking for us...time marches on, kids...as it has fo...

Some times it's just right to sit back...and take in what you have, where you are, and how happy your life is ...hopefully, you do this today...and...is there a better song than that of the legendary Johnny Mathis , "Wonderful! Wonderful!" ?...perfect...now do this and pour yourself a cup of Joe...find that vinyl, CD, cassette, or the song on iTunes...and enjoy the moment... OK, now you are in the proper mood to read the Horse... Lordy, I have to start with them Padres ...sailing along thru five innings getting no hit ...that's right...have no hits...and then, 'Boom!' ... a walk, a triple, a double, then back to back dingers ...that"ll do it...a big W against the league leading Rockies...and the former Mgr, Buddy Black...sweetness and this team continues to mature...baby steps, kids, baby steps... Yes, I am in a fantasy baseball league...and yes, I am in first place...I am loaded with front line pitching, unlike the aforementioned Pads...ha ha......

There is a norm in the NBA World...that the coach of the San Antonio Spurs, Gregg Popovich , so affectionately called 'Pop' ...finds a way for his team to play at it's best...come playoff time...the pundits, both the newspaper ones and the pixel dudes, sing his praise relentlessly...right?...well now...the start of the 2nd round had his team hosting the Houston Rockets, for the bragging rights of Texas...sorry Marc Cuban, but your morose Mavs are out of it... The Rockets, are led by the newly formatted PG position... James Harden , he also of a nickname, the Beard ...of course, I am a fan of the shortened titles...Houston rocked the SA world...absolutely demoralized them from the get go...in fact, Pop, called a time out in the first minute of the game!...signs of things to come...the pundits were screaming 'brilliant move'...no way...his arrogance got in the way of common sense coaching...I think it had a part in the blow out...as he just obliterated the game p...

Or should that be, pay?...yup, time for them bills ...the one constant in our life...I can guarantee ya that each and every one of them will turn up in the mailbox for us to gander on...contemplate and pay up...wouldn't it be nice, if one of them rich companies sent this out, "you've been such a great customer, and thus, we are suspending this month's payment of yours...as our sign of appreciation!" ...just one time... The trip to Chino Hills to play in the Alumni T  (Pomona College) was a huge success!...Los Serranos CC...son Cris came down from Santa Barbara and I drove up from SD...he was spectacular and we won the bloody thing by, get this, 5 strokes...our 4th win ...but, who's counting?...easily the widest margin of victory...anyway, big bragging rights, especially for him...BTW, the name of Chino Hills?...that's where that UCLA pop Ball is from...and his fam...you may be familiar... A couple of months ago I stated that Ryan Secrest was a natu...

Not sure the last time I saw the Pads score 8 runs in an inning...let alone in a game. ..wowser...a myriad of ways, too...including the ever loving home runs, er, dingers...hip hip hooray!...and let it be in San Francisco, and it's just all too sweet...BTW, it was a giveaway promo night for them...ear flapped snow like caps...they were cool... The diet pop scare ...the effects of 'em...well now, Coke has come up with an alternative...that has it sweetened by yet another 'less harmful' additive...Coke Light, I think it's called...something like that...I've been going with Black Tea...but, egads, doesn't have the carbonation...that the Horse lurves and desires...if you have another, let me know...
