CRAZY HORSE

In a recent publication, I said the hardest job in the country is that of being a cop ... special people choose the profession, for many reasons...you can count them...thing is, one has to have unbelievable intestinal fortitude...bravery...be willing to be trained intensely...and have a keen sense of timing...when to use their talents...knowing that their life could be on the line at ANY MOMENT! ...yes, it takes a special person to choose to do this... The Uvalde Massacre ...you know the story by now...the carnage...these cops were in this situation that they are PREPARED for...and...didn't act for 77 minutes...AWAITING orders...this came out yesterday, in yet another 'detailed' timeline...that the upper tier of the police went over...I do not blame the cops... I blame the COMMANDING OFFICER ...the blame game... Heart wrenching ... an interview with a 10 year old who survived ... when asked 'do you think you will ever have to go through with something as this again? ......

I can not fathom the human pain...losing a child...do not want to ever feel that...as life is short as is...but in this merciless manner, is all I can take...so true, throughout the USA, the parents are feeling the same ...home school?...what safety is there in the school we drop our kids off at?...is there truly a plan by the police in the area to combat said emergencies?...it all comes down to 'who do you trust?' ... If...what we are hearing today...that the police in Uvalde, waited for an hour before going into the school...for fear of 'being shot' ...that just can't be true, can it?...what about the kids and staff, UNARMED while they awaited?...'they' were waiting for the task forces, that were trained for this...I guess...'they' could be the prey or the police...sad, if true... There is a story out this am, about an 11 year old girl who survived the massacre ...by painting herself in a fellow students blood...to look herself, as DEAD ...the seem...

The day has been spent in grief...the why's start to build up...the murder of 21...in a school, this time...you KNOW the story...in Texas...many have said what they think SHOULD, COULD, or MIGHT have happened...better...as the details have started to come forth...the timing...the preparation...you can read it all in most news sources...most of it, will make you angry...then, sob...it could have been us... The blame machine was at it already...sure...the worst?...the coalition of Texas Governor Abbott and his posse of elected officials and police, well, armed militia...as he put forth a hastened account of the massacre...then...did his best to deflect the murders away from the weapon used...to mental anguish...like he was taught by, the reps of the NRA...it was deplorable...I have termed it 'The Abbott Report'... One man stood up and voiced his opinion of the charade... Beto O'Rourke ...the opponent of Abbott in the upcoming governor election...'This is all on you!...

Before YOU go off on a defense of, or an accusatory rant...of the latest mass shootings, and killings...of children...put YOURSELF in the situation...a parent dropping off YOUR grade school child at school...as YOU meander off to do whatever YOU do...work, household, attend school YOURSELF ...whatever YOU do...assuming that YOUR loved one is safe and at the school... Which has taken hours and hours of dedicated time...to protect all that inhabit that space...security, locked doors, prepped teachers and staff, trained for the horrific things that may happen...that hopefully, will never occur...at YOUR school... And then it happens...a shooter...young, as usual...armed himself with newly bought assault rifles...flak jacket...ammunition...with the intent of assassinating as many people as he can...this time, it is grade school kids... YOUR kid...how can this happen?... YOU turn to whatever YOU can...religion?...why God?...why?...family?...spouse?...all so helpless...life seems ...

Gosh, I hope that isn't racial...not intended that way ...but the duo who broadcast the San Diego Padres , analyst Mudcat (Mark) Grant and play by play guy, Don Orsillo , are the best in the business ...at times, their chit chat is as good, if not better, than the game they are broadcasting...no greater an example of last night's thang... as Mudcat showed up with HUGE glasses ...and the two made a hilarious exchange of what the heck they were...interrupted by the game itself...it's what they do...if you were a fan of Abbott and Costello , you would be of these lads...it is that funny and entertaining... Yes, and the Pads won again ...keeping pace with them Bums...who won't let up...an OT game...I did not see the ending...as the Horse finally got some much needed SLEEP!...almost 11 hours of it...hallaluah...(sp?)...TG for the Nyquil (well, the CVS brand)...and me head is clearing up... Today Boss and I get our eyes checked and new prescriptions for sure...I am not seei...

It is rare...well, rarified air...for the San Diego Padres to sweep the always competitive SF Giants ...at their ball yard...in fact it has been 6 years...the last game was a doozy, a 10-1 romp...now, a day off and then back at Petco...for a 7-9 game homestand....something like that... Not so gloomy for SF, is their hoops team, that has a sweep in mind over the Mavs ...a one man show, these Dallas dudes...the Warriors, have many weapons...if that is what one calls the options...anyhoo, won game 3 at Texas... Just north of there in Oklahoma.. .the PGA Major was won by a guy out of the pack...like 7 back...JT ...tied it up and won in OT...the guy from Chile had it in the bag, until his last tee ball went swimming...too bad...have I told you before, golf is a hard game?...seems like I spent most of the day watching this... Idol ...it indeed came down to the Huntergirl and the dude...and the dude won ...he was better...kind of a good show to end the season...a 'B'... Is the state...

You know, I can see how donny typed cofveve , or whatever he did ...in this comparable stage of lack of sleep...anything might come out of the fingers...yea, so I am up at 2 am...can't shut me eyes...thought I should start to write my blog in this state of mind...just for laughs... what is monkeypox? ... it is now the virus that appears to be the new one on the scene...deadly? ...I dunno...listening to so many people say that they did not get vaxed for Covid...can't imagine...figure they will not vax for this one either...they will just carry the monkeypox all over the land... Did donny ever show, or release, his taxes? ...weren't they being audited?...how long does that take?...ha ha...all a facade...
