Where on earth have the Pac-10 hoops men gone?  There is a very strong sentiment that only, and I mean only, the conf champ gets in to the big dance...(note, FB, a playoff)...the powerhouses of the past are not... UCLA , Arizona , yup, all of them, are below average...not to mention the basement dwellers from Orygun, the Dux and Bevos ... poof Went out to SDS yesterday an we're like a couple of collegians...beautiful campus and visited the library...I know, you think it's the 1st time ever in one... Aztecs host the Rebs today in a big match up...would be going if I were not hitting the links, which is much more important... The NBA dunk contest is today and I don't know who's in it...sad really... Isn't a luger a gun? Watched the Winter Olympics last night...who are these people?  Dancing with the stars guys, right? If you get your girl roses , she should give you anything you want , right? Foooooooorrrrrre !

These 3 are in...but there are a gaggle of them out...of the NBA All-Star Game ...there are those of you out there who don't like this one...I do...these are marvelous athletes that show how they can fly and dunk and all...take it for what it's worth and just enjoy... Kobe, AI, BRoy , to name a few who are missing and are injured...but Melo, Dwayne, and King James will be on hand... So are you one of the few that can figure the connection of our money market to that of China 's?  It is said that we go where they go... Is it just me or are the Baldwin Bros. a bit odd... So one of my pix got x-d out last night on Survivor ... Sugar !  Marsh kept asking me why I picked her...I couldn't come up with a doable answer...anyway, it is going to be a good one, don't you think? It's snowing all the way down to Atlanta ...the same storm that dumped all that rain on us here last week, so they say... Spring training gets started next week in Arizona and Florida...I ab...

So I think you can throw most everything I said about the Blazers out the door after their shocking victory over the Suns ...at Phoenix, a team that had won 5 straight games....OK, I am officially stupid ....I admit it...they still didn't score coming out of timeouts ...but, Andre Miller looked pretty darn good.... You know people don't like to be called stupid. .. Speaking of that, did you see the latest numbers on Sarah ?  The elephant party isn't endorsing her...but your TEA Party is...what?  Who's stupid? I'm not sure anyone is too excited about the Winter Olympics other than NBC... I finally am hitting the links on Saturday...the weather is reaching the 70's and I'm not stupid... I calls 'em as I seez 'em ...the Blazers were awful last night at home serving up the Thunder ( Supersonics ) a filet, quite well done...I have never seen so many (throughout the season) non-productive time outs as Coach Nate has...they rarely score after one...check it out...and the PG play of Andre Miller is horrid ...his flailing, poor passing, lack of defense, is downright legendary...does Coach Nate look at film?  In a watered down league, with a gaggle of injuries, they would still be about in the same position...7th -9th...with no chance of advancing...sorry PDX fans (and I'm one of them), but it's true... The arctic blast hitting the east coast makes me real happy we are on this side of the US of A... With a lack of fan fare, the US of A has launched it's first major battle in Afghanistan...what? Did you watch your Idol last night?  How many commercials can one program have?  Sad, that is what I lead with...the teaser had a few pretty good vo...

So as I am walking Sammi this am I noticed this fella doing the same with his huskie...it was none other than the former coach of the Huskers and congressman, Tom Osborne ... Mr. Nebraska !  I'm guessing he has a condo down here somewhere... Speaking of football, the ride that Drew Brees has been on is nothing more than spectacular...from his days as a Bolt, from bad to very good here...to a huge injury to his shoulder...to his signing with the Saints as a last gasp...to leading them to the super bowl title...good on him... The passion that some of the TEA Party people on Facebook exude is interesting to me...OK that they have this forum, yet, they deny it is faith based...why? The Lakers continue to win, without Kobe...a very deep team...by the way, Sir Charles lamented what I have been saying for a couple of years...the leak in he boat is their point guard, Derek Fisher... Did you watch your Bachelor ?  I have been privy to a spoils column (Reality Steve) that see...

Where's the beef?  I mean the defense?  The Colts D went real soft and thus got ate up by the super bowl MVP , Drew Brees ...really was a great offensive game and was fun to watch...have to admit I did watch the commercials...the Letterman-Oprah-Leno one was the best....as I sat watching the game with Sammi ... Did you see that the ancient Brian Giles was signed by the Dodger s... what ? The PGA got a lift yesterday as Steve Stricker won the LA Open .... Lefty faded into the rough as he still is struggling with his mental side of the game... Run Sarah run...down the floor, and out the door, but...run Sarah run...

Where on earth do I start with this...the Tea Party ...a shortened name for the Tax Day reformation movement ...has emerged...the republican party is in such a disarray that splintered groups have formed...this one has the major backing of the AFA ( the American Family Association ), strategically named to hide the conservative Christian right...get to their website and you'll see what I mean... Newt Gingerich has the unofficial leadership and it is backed heavily by your favorites, Hannity and Beck ...where is Rush?  As you know, I'm not fond of politicians in general, and faith only bigots in specifics...this group is a front for the likes of them....they had this gathering in Nashville this past weekend that featured their keynote speaker... Sarah Palin ...her speech was covered by CNN (what, not Fox?)...and, of course, I watched and was DISTURBED that anyone...I mean anyone...could possibly buy into her crap ...OK, people follow this group closely. ..it will not go ...
