Hey, it wasn't a perfect match for Adrian Gonzalez in Boston...are you feeling the Swift way of lurve in the area?...ha ha...anyhoo, the Red Sox are going to trade him away to the...get this...the hated Dodgers!...there are 9 players involved in the blockbuster...and I smell something fishy...there must be an underlying issue...maybe, just maybe, he didn't get along with the other blokes in the club house...yet he seemed so happy being photoed in a Boston uni... The Padres keep a rolling...go to the desert and whup the DBacks 5-0...there is an aura swirling about...this is a team on the rise...and it will carry over to next season...which will be very exciting for the GQ....mark my words, 8/25/12... We went yesterday to La Jolla to do some shopping and have lunch...what a wonderful area...it gives you the feel of carefree living...so many different type of shops...and if you go to the west side, the views are spectacular... The golf course that hosts the, wait, THE golf tourney of the year... The Masters ...that is for the gents...finally has accepted some lady members ...some 80 years after it's beginnings...and there is an underlying reason here...their money backers made it adamant...so it is said...whatever the reason, it is a good thing... There is this ad in the Trib about a new golf ball that is proclaimed to be an anti-slice one...called the Polara ...and it is banned by the USGA...3 different type of dimples... reduces slices by up to 70% ...ha ha... A few days ago...this is kind of eery, I changed my profile picture to the one with me sitting down at the Kansas City Grill. ..where the bar scene was filmed for the movie "Top Gun" ...here in SD...and the news out of LA, is that the movie's director, Tony Scott , leaped to his death from a bridge...more info pending...but...can't imagine getting that down to just quit...anyway, this is the last day I'll use it, in his honor...
