My year ending blasts to keep all of you (?) in astonishment at why I would possibly write about these highly over-rated people for this past year...only, in my opinion... #10 Angelina Jolie ...not what she seems, not a fan of any of her movies, and she stole BP from Jennifer...and wherever she goes, she gets followed...not me #9 Justin Timberlake ...why oh why is this guy famous? can't sing, can't act, not particularly good looking...mystifies me...what am I missing here? #8 Taylor Swift ...bear with me on this...she is a nice talent and has a good voice and all...but, she is not the best and is not worthy of all the hype that garnered her all those trophies this year...better than Carrie or Faith? I don't think so... #7 Cougar Town ...I know, not a person but...all involved...the writing for this sitcom is horrible and really should be shared with equally bad writing of the "the old adventures of Christine"...blah, blah, blah... #6 Tracy McGrady ...for yo...

Finally! The PDX Blazers give Gerald Bayless his due time and how he responded! 14 pts. in the 4th and 29 overall, as he led a huge comeback against the Suns...he adds youth, defense, pushing the ball, and DESIRE to a team that needs it...it was so cool to see that team actually play great defense... Peyton is incredible...so much for the theory that the Colts were going to rest their starters...as they also came from behind and beat the Jags last night... Are you into Survivor? Thank goodness Shambo was cut loose last eve...very annoying player... In the aftermath of all of the tragedy of Tiger's outing...disintegrating marriage, truths and half-truths, loss of his endorsements, scathing remarks by his fellow golfers, rumors of steroids, and, the trickle down effect of all the tourneys he won't enter...attendance will be down...as the San Diego Open will feel when it starts up next month...sad, really... Well, we reinvested in the Pads for another season...better seats and are on the Pads side this time around... As the money ladened college bowl season heats up...we received comp tix to the Poinsettia Bowl from our good friend, Jack, from the Pads...nice! Still bummed there is no playoff from the BSBCS... The Bolts have won 8 in a row and host the Bengals this Sunday...should be a good one...speaking of streaks...both the Colts and Saints continue the entire reg season without a loss...but, the Colts have already wrapped up all incentives and thus, will rest their starters prior to the playoffs...try betting on that! So I am hating the effort of Randy Moss this past weekend...another reason to never, ever, bet on NFL games...and I witnessed a boat load of people doing it in Vegas...go figure the Cowboys...they have all the parts, but the self-imposed pressure is too much for them apparently...no doubt will cost the coach his job...and, what on earth was going on last night with the Cards and the QB Warner? Something was real fishy, real fishy...and it stunk to high heaven...I wonder where all the money was on that game? I'm going to say this, and have always wondered...Tiger sure got big the last 5 or 8 years...they say it was from a highly regimented workout...say what? Hey, and if you thought there was a recession, then what were all them people doing in Vegas? I'm not kidding, it was like old times...people on tables and machines everywhere..what? I guess I'll never understand the plight of guys trying to destroy our country...that we have to hide them in our little part of Cuba.....

So we took in two shows while we were in Vegas...one was real good and one was real bad...the good...Donnie and Marie...the energy and fun that those two put on was as good any we've seen. Albeit a bit spendy, it was worth it...singing, dancing, dancers, band, oldies, just non-stop cool stuff...and Marsh was grinning from ear to ear the entire time... the bad...the worst show I have ever seen...and I have seen a bundle...there are very low ones, ie.Joan Baez, Eddy Arnold, the Caveman...but far worse than all of those is this well publicized fiasco, the Blue Man Group. Now it has been passed around from Casino to Casino...OMG there is no humor anywhere and it got embarrassing with in 10 minutes...an hour and ten minutes later we finally left and couldn't figure out how anyone could put that act together and actually sell tix...Horrid! Isn't it great to have me back? Big Bolts win over the Cowboys...
