As we have revised our airfare stuff in the past couple of months...we are rejoicing over the cancelation of the Nashville trip scheduled for about NOW!...as they are witnessing killer storms...can't imagine withstanding those...as our precautionary mode has held up...nearby in Kentucky, tornados have hit yesterday, to the number of more than 100 dead from them...terrifying!... The annual Army/Navy game is today at noon...always a fun festivity, as the two universities not only battle on the field, but show off their uniformity in the pre-game show...it is truly a show to watch...the limitations of the big time athletes to their schools, make the offenses and defenses used, more smash mouth...this year, the Cadets are favored... Don't you just hate it, when the lead is that 'we' have 2 THINGS TO DISCUSS ... already argumentative...start with the good, then go to the bad? ...or, fess up with the bad, and then the good...I dunno, why not just talk and not set parameters?...it's like Prez B when he says he has things to say, and starts with first...and doesn't get to second...ah, sounds like a Padre, right?...I digress... In my awful cold that I somehow picked up in the desert ...have had numerous hours to stare at the pixels...and one show came out loud and clear...on the History Channel...number 55 on our list...as it showed an absolutely brilliant portrayal of what the country and our president did THE DAY AFTER the bombing of Pearl Harbor ... actually, detailing in minutes and hours... So many disastrous happenings...as we saw the lack of communication in the days of the early 40's ...so many sketchy things that got to the President, FDR...as he went through the painful decision of how to address what just happened...fearing, more so, how vulnerable the country was at that time...wondering if there were to be more attacks on the USA...like mainland... Franklin D Roosevelt ...Talk about painful, was his inability to walk and this was due to polio ...it took him an hour to get dressed...as he had to be helped thru the process...all hidden from the public, as to keep out the thought, that our lea...

We have seen this act before...a UO head football coach flying south for a more lucrative job offer...as I have been alluding to, Mario Cristobal, has been rumored to take the Miami job...the report is that he has until today to take it or leave it...$8 million a year salary....who gets overpaid?... The coach prior to Mario, did indeed go south to that state, too....Florida St....how did that work out for him?...he crashed and burned...got fired...listen kids, Miami is not a better job than the Oregon one...no way, no how...leaving a faithful and fired up fan base, should be hard to do...rethink it, dude...
