We are closing out the Christmas part of the Holidays...as today, we box up our stuff, til next year...because we used to keep it up until after New Years...ah, not this time around...just wasn't as holly and jolly as seasons past...for whatever reasons...just a NO... The Holiday Bowl...moved to the newish stadium in Mission Valley...called the Snapdragon...where the seating is around 30 grand....instead of the 50+ in the 'old one'...done, as the Chargers and their evil owner Spanos, bolted to LA...where nobody likes them...ah, hem...get to the point, Horse...Syracuse whomped the WSU Cougars last eve...the problem?...Wash St lost 30 players to the NIL...so, the team they brought were backups, yet gallant guys...I tell ya, college football is in shambles...they need a new governing board...like NOW!... 'Hey coach Brown, is that you?...ah, well you are fired!'...yup, the Sacramento Kings, fired their head coach over the telephone last night...yet another classless mov...

C'mon now, kids...the Holidays are NOT over...we dine, we party, we meet, we sip, and we be merry...until the New Year!...hmmm, or when the Ducks play the Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl...thereabouts is the finality...we got festive yesterday, to boot...got the rig washed...kept on going to the beach to see the so called 'high waves'...which were normal...tide must have been out...and yes, for all of you non SoCal peops, it was tee shirt and shorts...finished it off with a swim in the pool...don't hate us...we pay for it... 6-3, was the score of a NFL game...not beisbol...the ending score...as the Seahawks beat da Bears...six to three...BTW, the bowl game with Pitt and the eventual winner, Toledo...was a doozy...6 OT's...with countless booth reviews...ejections...and just plain, a mess...the Horse should implement this rule...if your bowl game is not part of the CFP, if it is tied at the end of the regulation time period...it ends in a tie...ha ha...wonder what the coach...

Good morning!...how was your Christmas?...well, now, for all of my born days and since...I have never ever heard this...the thang called 'Boxing Day'...the day after Christmas...just happened on it, reading this am...say what?...of course, tickled me interest...and here is the scoop... It is also called 'Offering Day'...a day of goodwill...to give to those who are needy...the origination is unclear but did start in the British Commonwealth...Great Britain...hmmm...wonder how trump would handle a day like this?... Hype and then...the goods...and the bads...Beyonce's halftime show...almost 13 minutes of highly choreographed dancing, singing, and whatever...it was quite the production...did catch ones eyes...but, the underlying concept...was to overshadow a very weak singing voice that she has...this was on the break of the NFL game of the Ravens/Texans...which was ONLY carried on Netflix...go figure...the regular networks were carrying some NBA games...JCC...didn'...

Merry Christmas! from the Horse and Boss Lady Good morning to you all...as we wish all of you out there in the free world, a most wonderful Christmas Day...however you choose to honor and cherish this occasion...the anticipatory actions of us all, quite often is better than the real thing...but, that's OK...just thankful that our family is doing well...and hope yours is, too... The sports slate is filled with the NBA...5 games I think...and in the NCAA, 3 games, ie Oreg St at Nebraska...the NFL, there are two, via Netflix (?)...Chiefs at Steelers...and Ravens at Texans...so there you go, you sports junkies...you have your fill... If you have children, and or grand children...the wake up time is mighty hard for them...was for me, back when...ah, some 70 years ago...lawdy, that just doesn't sound right... Query...does trump ever eat a meal in his own compound, cooked by Melania?...or, does he always have to go to the circled off area at Mara-lago, to dine...and one more thing...e...

And all though the house...well, it is here, kids...Christmas Eve...it's been a long year, seemingly...just a feeling I guess...perhaps, it's been the elongated political plight...something tells me the next 4 years will even be longer...we have been fortunate in other ways...the kids are doing great...we are healthy and active...sounds like I am doing a year ending summary, which I did not mean to... Christmas songs...nothing takes you back into your younger days, then the songs of Christmas...whenever I hear the Johnny Mathis ones...time appears to have never changed...well, that's the beauty of music...it is what was recorded...forever...+ seeing him in concert, twice, at Xmas...was a treat beyond a dream...he looks and sounds like his albums... 'How Great Thou Art'...the live version of Carrie Underwood and Vince Gil...was the most haunting and beautiful rendition of it I have ever heard...if you are not before, you may turn into religion...which I try not to ta...

It's that day...the one that triggers the emotions of those...well, who need another outlet for THEIR true feelings...HAPPY FESTIVUS!...for the rest of us...the airing of grievances...the showing of the fits of strength...the raw look of people that are just plain, weird...there are those of you out there, that need this day...yes, we all have our cliques...time to REJOICE!...reach out to fellow Festivusites...pull up a chair at the table and start talking...presents?...nope, none needed... Prez B took to his pardoning act, prior to giving up the gavel to trump...commuted 37 of the 40 inmates slated to be executed to...life long prison sentences...Federal thing, where he can do it...there are those, who are affected by this...the remaining families of those whose loved ones were killed...that would love to meet up at the Festivus pole... I am one that has trouble analyzing how our government works...you see, the Judge and Jury do their thang...find someo...

That name...is it used in this generation?...Darling...the blog title is in reference to the Beatles song 'Oh! Darling'...but dig it, you don't hear it much used any more...I bring this to your attention...as whence I have watched countless hours of the CFP games, mixed in with the KC Chiefs fixed ones...ha ha...I ramble into the boudoir, where Boss is...and I hear the 'darling' used in...her countless hours of watching the old time flicks...you see, we watch in other rooms...my sports, her movies...it works...anyhoo, when I hear 'darling' I know right away that she is watching films from the 40's or so... Now, I have heard 'darlin'...'Hello Darlin'...Conway Twitty...' Darlin'...The Beach Boys...and have noticed the way the southern lads use it as they talk to their woman...but NOT darling...'Li'l Darlin' by the Diamonds...and the reason for the name given to our Pomeranian... Nonsensical stuff, Horse... Just like ALL ...
