CRAZY HORSE

Being a horse race player since my high school days...at the infamous Oregon State Fair Races ...which no longer exist, my good friends...I have always had my eye out on the biggest single race of the season... The Kentucky Derby ...on my bucket list (hint hint Dentist son)...anyhoo, the races down here are splendid, out at the Del Mar Grounds...a trip there is divine...fortunately, I frequent that yard a ton... BUT, there is none like the race that happens today...in Kentucky...where 20 hosses give their all for the crown as the Best in the Biz as a 3 yr old ...as often is, the handicapping of this race is nearly absurd...the credentials it takes to be even IN THIS RACE, is worthy of a look...at betting that hoss...this time, 2022, it is as hard as ever... You want a winner?...well, so do I ...the Kentucky Oaks was the JV game...and I hit it at $5 on the nose...that was yesterday.. .'Secret Oath', ridden by Luis Saez ...listen to me, kids...not sure if it has happened before, ...

Just a friendly reminder all, that this weekend contains Mother's Day ...for goodness sakes, if yours is still on this earth...treat her WELL!...you are cuz she birthed you...even the smallest gesture, is worth it...most Mothers just want a simple 'Love You'... a call, a visit, a card, a box of chocolates, something...it is the least you can do...GET ON IT!... Don't know why this weekend has the impetus it does, with the LEAK of what the SCOTUS may do ...but it does have some form of connection... I get that it should never happen with the highest court in the land ...but, we had the same form of ridiculousness in the highest position in the political land, too ...we were not on stable grounds...the clean up is necessary and is to be forthcoming... When you think that your marriage might be not what it should be...ah, like in Bridgerton...but, just have a listen to what the Depp/Heard one was like...and yours is doing quite well, right?...how can any one stay in tha...

Sometimes one can get a feel for what's coming ...with the title of the Blog...you might think that the Horse is disgusted with whomever is now riding shotgun on the latest version of the San Diego Padres...not this time, kids...it's more local than that... the newest commandeer of the golf course which is  Ours!!!… For some odd reason, there are orders that have come forth, that are downright strange...bewildering...and yet, perhaps all money driven ...I do not know...to be fair, I also do not know if the actions are by the advice of the board of the member's association, the Tribe, or the wants and desires by the bloke in command, all by himself ...however, I have an idea...who... The course itself is getting a makeover, at least the one ...adding water and it's attractions...which shall be a beautiful and much harder layout, if done properly...our foursome, has been witnessing the transformation monthly....and then, some decisions have abruptly rang out...which had o...

Some of you have asked for historical items from my Native background...sure, the brain is a bit foggy now ...but, I can go back to about my early teen years and give you this one...it is all true, to the best of my recollection...and sorry, has little to do with the heritage...but it does have reality and a tad bit of humor to it... bear with me...circa 1957-1961 ...around then...you do the math, and can see that I may have lost a vague amount of exact happenings... It was the beisbol career of the Horse ...as the options of that era, were NOT the glamorous Little League and Babe Ruth leagues of nowadays...no classy uniforms, no sponsors, no cool caps, no coaches...no nuttin'...but a field and a field supervisor...ah, the coach...( to be honest, I did the same job while in college)...I recall we had a league that we played in...maybe a 'C' league...maybe not, that may have been later... Anyhoo...we showed up to the infamous River Road Park, right behind Shakey's Pizza ...

I was going to lead with a humorous story in my past...a beisbol oracle that erased any path for my talent ladened youth...well, lack thereof...BUT, along came this headline, like everywhere...that made that story line a mere joke... a LEAK, discovered by Politico...that was of a memo from SCOTUS back in February ...that mentioned, er detailed out... the OVERTURN of Roe v. Wade ...the ABORTION decision...which would take the right of said process AWAY from the judgment of the woman...did I say that right?... Is this party driven?...is this an agenda item of the conservative right?...did trump win?...needless to say, he (donny) doesn't really wants this ...but, those who vote for him, must...as does Mitch and his hooligans...we are in for a ride like no other in this country, I fear, kids... WOMEN, and shoot, ALL of us, should stand up and ADDRESS the Supreme Court... No doubt, there will be chaos in the streets of the USA...in retaliation for the judgment of the Court ...probably j...

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I wondered if the USA would do a visit to Ukraine ...Great Britain did, and I thought it was inevitable we would...go to the besieged and highly defensive minded...and proud country...of course, with Putin giving orders to bomb, and blast anything moving...the trip would be as dangerous as one can imagine...yet, we did go... Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, was the chosen one ...along with a delegation of US members...accompanied with a promise that we would indeed help them 'until their victory'...say what you will, you forevers, it was the right move...hopefully, you agree...unless you are on Putin's side...then off with you...
