When one goes to sleep before 9...expect to rise at 3 ...ah, that is what I did...good lord, it is 3:32 AM!!!! ....and I have read my 23 sources already...had one cup of Joe...now I am writing... who says I have a pathetic life? ... the early bird catches what? ... Yea, well I read about the loss to the DBacks ...yet again...as we gave up with the winner in the 9th...what's that?... 1-13 at Arizona now? ...I think Jr is back and that should give us a spark...hopefully... Staying in the negative...on the PGA tour...the once highly heralded and adored Rickey...like Fowler , has fallen on hard times... did not qualify for the Fed Ex...the top 125 players for the season ...he makes a mint on commercials...but his game?...ah, not so much... The Taliban has been waiting for us to leave...and now they are taking the country back over...Mitch says we should bomb them...?...get our arse out of that place...it is a different world that we can't manage nor understand...how about sending...

I think I may be naive here...as we went into Costco yesterday, I would judge the numbers of people that are MASKING at 80% ...the Delta variant?...not being inoculated?...or, the common sense of just putting the thang on?...is it that those who don't get the vaccine are driving the rest of the country to protect themselves from them?...it just confuses me.. .however, to be safe, we shall mask up...again ...like I said the other day, the numbers of protected people in masks, are much much higher here in Cali than in Oregon...I dunno... The nonsensical argument that the kids shouldn't be in schools...masked ...where most are not given the shots...brings out the worst in some parents...no worse than in the vagabond state of Florida ...where the foo Guv lays out fatal judgements daily...still in his forever mode... now THIS is a guy that needs to be 'recalled'... How about the beginning to the 'Field of Dreams' game yesterday!...as Kevin Costner relived that ep...

No doubt the comfy confines of the home...and nothing better than the BED! ... the cool sheets and the breeze upon our faces at night ...with the pillow like mattress caressing the bod...yup, it does feel grand...love the excursion, yet love the home life, too...ya'll know what I mean... 3 weeks is enough time away... The norm, the packages and mail build up ...used to be...back when...the piles of bills were ginormous...now, we have but a few...that's a blessing (?)...ah...the stuff we ordered from wherever...took a cart to bring 'em up...sort of like Christmas ... Nice to settle in and read my 23 sources ...the same old stuff, really...er, a reality... the pillow dude , suffocating on his own plight... Rudy , the former minister of madness, trying to raise $ for his defense...and the sad tale of the forevers , still rationalizing that the Covid shots are not needed...as the numbers in the hospitals are direct derivatives of them... We did notice the further south we trave...

Takes a boatload of planning...to get in a class B RV, and meander about the west coast....all the way up to the great state of Oregon....kudos to the Boss Lady for the organization of it all!...as we are on the last leg of the excursion...back to San Diego...three weeks of a journey... It is not easy...the driving, in particular....the wrong turns...the delays...the hook ups and tear downs...the repetition of that...what to cook, when it is 107* outside...the timing when we can arrive at a RV site....petrol at or about $4 a gallon... However, it is all worth the efforts...mostly fun...the object to see our amigos in our old home town....the terrific props in Bend....a blast was had...yes, we were guests...and treated thusly...and we did depart before started to smell...I think...the dawg, Sammi, was beyond great.... NY Guv Cuomo did resign...why didn’t trump?....the infrastructure bill passed...won’t wonders never cease... The hardest thing to do on these trips?...showering...2nd hard...

As we find our way back home, the country that we see....is truly amazing...on the 101...the crops, the vineyards, the fruit trees, the colors, the people, the different RVs...and whatever I am forgetting to mention...it’s been an eye opener for us....let alone how great Sammi has been...what you don’t get when you fly over all this....yes, the speed is often the best....but, sometimes taking the country in is so awesome.... DC....somehow the Congress peops are gonna pass some infrastructure money....how Mitch agreed to this, is a major coup for Prez B....the USA needs it in the worst way... Hey, to blog on the road is a real trick...the web net can be fleeting....ha ha...and, I don’t have all the 23 sources at my fingers... Before we left Oregon we did get to stop at a Fred Meyer...the company has not changed one bit....also, got some of its petrol at a reduced rate...BTW, getting about 17 mpg....for the trip...on regular.... Is it wrong to say that Sen Rand Paul needs a lobotomy?.......

The dramatic colors of this area...unparalleled....mesmerizing shades of green....with tree trunks of awesome brown tints...the many splendors of Oregon...coupled with the aromatic fir and pine trees smell...which is beyond belief...it is a must see and exist in...yes, there are times that I miss this so... We are in our return trip to south SoCal....heat, my gawd, the heat...Orland is the destination today.... As I led the blog today, there is one road block...fires...and it’s smell...the air quality...as high as 170....0 is good...even though there are none where we have been...the winds shift the aroma to us... The Japan Olympics are coming to a close today...the USA has emerged as the overall champs, ie the highly coveted gold...the ladies won the hoops...like forever...Nelly Korda won the golf....the volleyball nailed by the gals...does France get the next Olympics?.... The mighty Padres...won 6-2....hey, Jr is close to coming back...and may be switched to the OF.... As per usual,...
