The NFL has some terrific matchups this weekend in their playoffs, for the WORLD TITLE ...kinda funny, right?...WORLD?...seeings we are the only country that really plays this type of football...The Real Thang...the rest of the places, soccer...the other parts of the WORLD...enough sarcasm... today we have the Texans at the Ravens ...gotta go with the home team...and the 2nd one... the Pack at the 49ers ...going with home team again...but, listen, kids...never ever bet on the NFL...on Sunday, the Bucs at the Lions ...and the Chiefs at the Bills ...the latter is the one I must see...tossup...oh yea, I have the Lion s most always, in the 1st game...got my weekend set, how about you?... Good afternoon, kids...we are back home...just a fantastic trip to the desert...thanks so much for them Morrises for boarding us ...yes, we did start to smell this am...and we were kicked out fast...I get that...the concert was a true lifetime joy...once in the life thang...so good...I think I have a concert of theirs on DVD or Blu Ray which I will search for soon...it also is terrific to swim in real warm water in their pool...just like Dr Cris's one in Montecito...the one here at the home, is sorta warm and sorta not...we are water babies... Have turned the pixels on to the news, to see how trump is faring in his defamation trial in NYC ...he and his 'team' have run into a no nonsense judge...so formidable for his clan...'sit down and shut up'...well, words to that effect...very arresting...tickles me so... BTW, our trip back was so fast...10:30? ...man, that was a world record for the Horse...oh yea, we did go to the Hat Shop in Palm Springs...and Boss and I each...

This must have been the best concert ever...The Eagles...sounded simply awesome...the addition of Vince Gill was so smart..he is multitalented...as he had to cover more songs than normal, as one of the guys was under the weather...at least his voice was...as they were all present...the live ‘Witchy Woman’ was haunting...at least to this Injun...and Timothy B Schmidt’s ‘I Can’t Tell You Why’...perfect... A bit disappointing, was Steely Dan...the vocals of Don Fagan were muffled...too bad...AND they DID NOT play ‘Rikki, Don’t Lose That Number’...booooo.... Anyhoo, Boss was very happy... Where are the repub candy people going this week?...New Hampshire...cmon folks, do the right thing...vote for Nikki...dump trump...as he settles into another courtroom... Yea, we swam in the awesome, very warm pool yesterday...dang, I could get used to this...them Morrises are hinting that we are smelling already...thus, we get only one nite more... As we do our traveling gig...in to Indio, to see and stay with our McNary neighbors...from back when...them Morrises...we spent a good part of the afternoon...REMINISCING!...so many stories...many which cannot be repeated...very funny...they are great people...tonight is the concert...Steely Dan and the Eagles... The Iowa caucuses...trump the clear winner at 51%...DF had 21%...and Nikki at 19%...Hoot failed and has dropped out...and endorsed his idol, donny...can’t believe that many Iowans would vote for that foo...gosh, I hope Oregon plays them next year... Yet only 13% of the republicans showed up to vote…!!!… NFL...my how Phillie fell off the spectrum...congrats to Tampa...and the Bills be tough...well, tougher than the Steelers...geez, our hosts have a huge TV screen!...I need one... Hint hint, Boss... Saw a pix of ice on the Willamette River...you Salemites are going thru nasty, very nasty...weather... Set back in the 60's...the catchy advertisement that was a hit on the tubes ... 'How about a nice Hawaiian Punch?' ...and then, BAM!...why this came up, was this is what Boss wants for her birthday today...ah, slightly different... A Nice Hawaiian Brunch ... which we are going to celebrate her day, via the brunch at Roy's...no numbers, just a fun little getaway... Wooah be the people in our hometown of Salem, and well, thereabouts ...in weather that has -19 degrees...ice and now snow, some report...miss the snow, but NOT the ice... The NFL game solely on Peacock, we did NOT watch ...as it, too, was very cold in KC...lowest game played, temp wise, ah, the 4th lowest recorded in history of the league...we did NOT watch, cuz I'll be damned if I am going to buy into the service...as the NFL snuck this crap in on us... Did watch the other game...as Texas romped over the outmanned Browns ...really, a bummer of a match...blowout and pooh...JCC... Do you ever do this?...rea...
