CRAZY HORSE

The waste of lives...as the killer in Maine, was reportedly found DEAD...self inflicted gun shot...it is called 'suicide' ... in other words, he didn't want to happen to him, what he did to others...have some police shoot him up ...it's another tragedy that took innocent people from this earth...I can't fathom the rationale...these are words that I have said so often in the past, I dunno, ten years?... mass shootings ...the numbers are staggering...the frequency beyond comprehension...yet, we still have laws to protect the killers in owning and USING these assault rifles ... shame shame shame on Congress ... 'our thoughts and prayers go out....' ... bull shit...take your money and shut up ... In the Gaza Strip...negotiations have obviously come to an end...and more lives, many more lives, will be lost from the earth ...as the constant need for...well, what is the need?... the Middle East ...is a blood bath waiting to happen...and, unfortunately, will happen...

You recall this flick? ... The Hunt for Red October? ... Tom Clancy ...it was a chilling submarine tale...in 1990 I think, thereabouts... Sean Connery ...the Horse had him as one of the best, Jerry, the best actors of that era...of course, he WAS James Bond ...I am going back a bit, huh... I am really referring to the HUNT for this killer in Maine ... 18 dead, and 13 injured ...the officials did not say wounded.. .looks to me, as he had an escape plan...probably via a boat...and on his way to Canada ...this is not the norm, for these killers...in most all of my sources, this is THE topic...the manhunt... My bias, is obvious ... there is no rational reason for the common man to own an assault rifle in the States ...well, anywhere...as we sit through another diabolical session of Congress...misinformed, misguided people who sit in judgment of others...this is the lowest level of elected officials that we have had in about 70 years...yes, kids, we have sunk to a new depth...we all have...

We fear this in the United States ...all the time ... MASS SHOOTINGS ...I should say, more accurately... MASS KILLINGS! ... the use of the rapid fire weapon...on innocent people, just living their lives...taken away by a crazed person ...it has happened in so many places...schools, churches, theaters, bars, fields, concerts, bowling alleys, grocery stores...the list is long and inclusive... We witnessed another last eve...in the state of Maine ... reports are somewhere between 16-22 dead and 80 injured ... the FEAR ...at a bar and a bowling alley...about 4 miles apart, by the reports to us, the public...and the killer is still on the loose...a 40 yr old that has the capability of using the weapon...I guess they all do... too easy to get, too easy to use...and the NRA and the republicans , grant them the rights to have 'em...you want division in our country?...start right there...BTW.. . the number of mass shootings in the USA this year, has surpassed 560! ... BREAKING... the numb...

This is the unique time of the year...the end of October ...when the leaves turn color (other than here in SD)...ha ha...the days grow shorter...the heat seems to disappear...we grapple for the perfect Halloween costume...coughing becomes a norm...flu shots are abundant... and all the major pro sports are played at the SAME TIME! ...complete TANGENCY!!!! ...check it out... MLB , as the World Series starts... NHL (hockey, you doofs)... NFL ...and the start up of the NBA ...listen, if you are a sports junkie, it is YOUR time of the year...hope you are not a bettor of 'em... The DBacks (Arizona Diamondbacks) did it! ...beat the Phillies, and won the trip to the World Series , to face the Texas Rangers ...who'd a bet on that early on?...they didn't even end the regular season right...and hung on to gain the 6th wild spot...then, suddenly, caught fire all over again...baseball is different than all the other sports...I tell ya...speaking of the game... It's not the same, if you haven't got a team in the playoffs...but, it still has character...to watch ... MLB Game 7's ...as both semis have them... winner to the 'World Series' ...the most coveted of all beisbol trophies...it's sports... grown men, acting like kids...cool...and, the fans acting like kids, too...it's OK ...in the  AL, a smashing splurge in the end...the right time...to get together...as the Texas Rangers did just that...and beat the highly favored Houston Astros... under the guidance of former Mgr of the Friars, Bruce Bochy ...he has done wondrous things, since getting the heave ho from SD...got that?...the Padre management is a joke... In the NL, it is down to Game 7, too ...as the other late bloomer, the DBacks are trying to get to the WS...standing in their way,  the other favored team...the Phillies ...this will be a doozy, kids... of course, I am pulling for Arizona, but really...JCC... Let's talk more of this heave ho crap...as ...

The Horse was back on the course, fours were wild on the back...fives were dominating on the front...ha ha...been a while...thus, I missed the am blog...sorry ...so you get The Afternoon Edition ... Can you believe it rained out at Singing Hills this am? ...was prepared, but not a drop here in the hood...go figure...sporting a 68* afternoon...as I am now, watching some of the beisbol...hit and miss, and so is my viewing... Hey, unless something wild happens tonight, the FF team will win number 4 in a row ...chickens...don't count 'em yet... 2 more hostages released ...my thoughts about holding off the ground attack must be right...until they are all released...am seeing a number of 222...something like that, right?... Way way long time ago...one of my buds would ask this 'Whatcha Doin?' ...seems like it should have been a slogan for the 60's...as, of course, we all said it...at least, my smallish gang... I can still recall with a wide grin, when he asked my Uncle Irving that...and with the grace and humor he had built in , repeated it back to him...laughing out loud...and then...when ever he saw my bud, he would ask him first ' Whatcha Doin?' ...the things your mind will recall...er, my mind...this bud, was a former hoopster friend in high school...
