CRAZY HORSE

This ever happen to you?...transfixed into a very deep sleep...and then...KABOOM! ...your spouse awakens you with an earth shattering thing...that needs to be done...IMMEDIATELY!...the klapper in the guest bath ain't working...YOU need to fix it...the Horse is now groggy, and kind of getting with the program...hears a bit of the issue...something about a crap in the house...hmmm, no dog, no cat, no guests...then, one good shake...and I hear the problem again...shouted into my good ear... So, PRONTO, I mosey on into the guest bath...'there is no water coming thru the hose' ...I declare...damn thing is busted...the Horse is officially awake now...Boss has some vid for moi, to see...YouTube 'do it yourself' thang...here we go again...welcome to MY weekend... There is this stat in beisbol....you KNOW I am talking Friar's ball...called LOB...left on bases...stranded runners on the bases, while YOU are at bat. ..YOU strike out, er, make an out and none, make that NONE of the runners score...it is a very bad stat to own...well now, as the sad tale of Padres continues...losing to one of the worst teams in MLB...which makes the Padres...ah, worse than them, right?...anyhoo...we had two players that achieved this awful milestone...of futility...one bloke, CF Grisham...had 4 times to plate...struck about all 4...and LOB NINE runners!!!...and our 'star' RF Junior, stranded SEVEN!!!...LOB...think there might be a reason we lost?...well, you know what the Friars do...which, unfortunately happens almost every season...they fire the hitting coach...we have had 15 since I have been living down here in SoCal...well, we have...sorry, Boss... The debt ceiling crisis...all signs to point to some sort of closure ...and the stock market is sensing...

Going to lead with the NBA playoffs...as the Denver Nuggets wasted the Lakers...well now, they wasted a huge lead...then, found a way to finish the LA team off...the 3rd stanza was a crazy shooting display by both teams...especially the Lake Show...shot 75%!...an example of what they can do...and this series will have some great runs by each team...may go 7...yea, but it was fun to watch...as LeBron said after "good thing this isn't the NCAA"...one and done... As we all were in a panic during the 9/11 attack on our country...who, what, where...why? ...the idea and or notion, that our mainland could possibly take a blow...a hit to it...was a penetrating shot to the ego of the USA...we, in fact, were penetrable...again...not since Pearl Harbor...was such a craziness to occur...this I am sure YOU ALL RECALL!...very much like when JFK was assassinated, YOU know where you were, what you were doing...and how helpless YOU felt...out of the ashes of the Twin Towers emerged the Mayor of NYC...Rudy Guliani...he seemed the guiding light of the tragedy... In fact, he was growing into a possible presidential candidate...and I could not UNDERSTAND why there was reluctance ...both on the people's part and HIS part...there were skeletons...and my oh my, they did emerge...as time wore on, he got involved into the trump clan...the shenanigans...he was part of it...he was outed in one of those Borat Movies...he was not what he seemed... As the court suits ...

With all the grandiose expectations of the new Friars in town...that euphoria has been put on hold...as the bats are silent...the pitching OK, but the wins are few and far between...it's just not happening...the success story so needed in the city (town?)...the faithful are here...witness sold out crowds at Petco...the pomp and circumstance has been bought...the hype is real, for the fans...it's time for the pressure to come our way...pressure of the W...what I fear is what so many professional teams do, fire the boss...this crazy game of beisbol, is a long process for the season...give them time...ah, just not too long...perhaps, some SMELLING SALTS might do the trick... As I feared, Idol has been cut to 3...and one that should be in that group...did not get the fans vote...too bad, as she was extremely warranted...and per usual, the cowboy type is in the 3...almost every year...and usually wins...to give a clue as to whom votes often in this show...the Hawaiian kid is clearly...

Good morning, my good friends...it is Sunday, May 14...yes, it is Mother's Day! ...happiest of times for all youse mothers out there... we have been blessed with terrific mothers, as I am sure you have, too ...not exactly sure, what is in store for the day...but, hitting the super is part of it...just what the Boss wants... This is some pix of the greatest moms in the World!...yours may be great, but, they are NOT number 1! I am a little baffled by the NBA ...as the players have too much say when it comes to the coaching...as not only the Buck's HC got the axe...but now the Sun's HC did, too...both are REAL coaches in the biz...the players want guys they can dictate what THEY do...how they play and so on...hoops, as we know it, is now gone into the abyss...not that it doesn't have crowd appeal, but just try to tell the 'stars' what to do, and the 'coach' gets shunned...and soon, the door...I have lately wondered, just like Lindsey Martin has queried, why...
