You know it, up at 10, 2, and 4...the awful Dr Pepper Nite...the Horse knows better...should have taken a sleep aide...as we wallow in a weepy wet weather pattern this evening in SoCal...this has been the worst since we moved...throw in a miserable day at work...ah, golf...and not due to the way I played, which was OK...but other circumstances, which I can't or won't, go into... Somehow turned into a CNN interview of the comedian and sometimes political humorist, Bill Maher...he says he is in the middle of the spectrum, but that has to be part of his schtick...his distaste for trump, is fun for me...the listener...and donny abhors the man...often mentioning him in his rants...all good...I am not going to make this about trump...Maher is an interesting dude, and that's it... Unrest in PDX...as the Blazers squandered yet another lead...in their quest for a playoff spot...the only time the 76ers led, was at the final buzzer...drat...and the LeBron less Lake Show won again...ha...

These college hoop playoffs...as much as I have warned you about 'upsets'...these teams are so filled with parity, that they are mild wins or losses...?...in other words, they are NOT 'upsets'...two of the better equipped squads...many potential pro prospects...Virginia and North Carolina...battled it out and the Commodores move on...the Tar Heels are destined for the lower level tourney in NYC, the NIT...hard to believe, as the talent is there...BUT... The coffee caper is now thriving...brew our own...the capsules are pretty much gone...ah, ha, but we still use them in Cosmo...but here at the home...we grind our beans fresh, and have the most aromatic cup of Joe...a tad bit hotter, too...which fits the Horse to a T...whatever that means... This isn't what you think...the title is totally for this fine wine out of the 'new' Cali vineyards...nestled in Temecula...Ponte Winery...the deli taste of what they call 'The Angry Wife'...an owners reserve, generously named for a generic Red Wine...oddly, this vintage changes every year...every season...different combos of the vineyards best...rumor has it, the name originated from the owners and his friends...gathering together to name the wine...his wife got so upset that he spent too much time on the project...that she told him, it's either the wine or her...he sure is gonna miss her... I get asked, 'how do you write every day?...isn't it hard to come up with points of interest? I can see life go on...
