Hey Hey

So are you like, pumped now?  Your fav money man, the Donald, endorsed the other money man in the GOP race, Mitt...hey hey...that's the topper...he's the candidate...the rumor is the Trumpster thinks this is the way he can weasel into politics...ha ha...how can this go wrong?

Here's my take on the Sooper Bowl...should be a very good game...and I have the Giants by 3...the bloody FG...boo...the over/under has dropped to 54...still seems like a bunch...but those guys know...somehow...and the Pats by 3...ooo, the bloody FG...boo...but, alas, the real boo goes to the 1/2 time entertainment...the Elton lurving Madonna...are you kidding me?...the worst, Jerry, the worst...boooooooo

They have already announced the starters for the NBA All-Star game...what?...didn't the season just start?...and the west is LA...2 Lakers and 2 Clippers...booooo....and the east has Carmelo Anthony as one of theirs...ha ha...booooooooooooo....

OMG, they actually had a press conference at the Sooper Bowl...for Madonna!....OMG!...booooooooooo

Did you see the latest Bachelor?...is the poor foo Ben blinded?...Ha ha...he deserves what he gets...ha ha....

The Crosses just left...had a grand time...took them to our favs...and it was a blast...yeh....

We've booked our trip to Maui already...Fall...nuttin better....

So we watched the Woody Allen flick, Midnight in Paris...has two of my favs....Owen Wilson and Rachel...oops, and my other fav gurl,  what's her name....some fav, huh...Cotillard...the premise and peops were good...the script was typical Woody...kinda good, kinda not...I gave it a "C"...but, I was the low man on the totem pole...the others had it higher...the scenery was magnifico....

It's a good thing that the Sooper Bowl is inside, as the weather looks awful...

Cheers to you all!

It's a Horse, Horse World

Sorry Brad, and it's not mad...you get my drift...the Housewives of Beverly Hills...if there is a more shallow bunch of people in this world, I'd like to see them...no...I wouldn't...they are doing a sit down and talk about the season for the next two weeks...repulsive and regretful, on all the items and talk...Bravo TV...yet...I watch the mess and pretty much hate them all...

My real item for the day is an unknown DVD that's out there about the singers of the day...1964...called the T.A.M.I. Show...have you seen it?  You MUST rent this and you just may be mesmerized like we were...it's a concert filmed live in front of many screaming fans...in Santa Monica (LA)...took two days to film...yet, it seems like it was all in one...and there have been bootlegs of it around for some time...interesting, that those that were out there...deleted the Beach Boys...???...anyway, it's all here...remember the year...here's the performers...Jan and Dean...Chuck Berry...Gerry and the Pacemakers...Lesley Gore...Smokey Robinson and the Miracles...Marvin Gaye...Dianna Ross and the Supremes...the Beach Boys...Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas...James Brown...the Rolling Stones...and others...really....and the entire set was non-stop action, led by Go-Go gals, which included Teri Garr...and a house band that included Glen Campbell, Leon Russell, and Hal Blaine...and, it's in black and white...

The Crosses roll in today...sight seeing, bike riding, golfing, and fine food!

Tin Cup

The Farmer's Insurance Open turned into the drama open...as Kyle Stanley, in search of his first PGA title...appeared to have it wrapped up for 71 holes...had a lead of 3...needed at most a double bogey to win the T...and the last is a par 5, which he had mastered all week...and, gulp, the unthinkable happened...massive drive, and then, to all the announcers glee, hit a lay up to use a half wedge for his 3rd...which he did...15 feet past the hole, that spun...and like a yo yo...right back off the green...dribbling oh so slowly and like in slow motion...into the pond in front of the green...naturally, he hit his next to the back of the green and just needed a two putt to still win...and...his first putt came to rest 4 feet away...and then pulled it left...geez, an 8...snowman...Tin Cup...

The drama continued...Brandt Snedeker thought it was all over, too....got wind of the debacle...and pranced out to the practice green...which at Torrey Pines, is oh so close to the 18th green...to unleash his putting, JUST IN CASE...boom...he needed his caddie and clubs...and all hell broke loose...off to the 18th and start a sudden death OT with Stanley...

Snedeker drove into the left bunker...Stanley a boomer, down the middle...Snedeker laid up, right by a pelt of a divot....Stanley a 3 wood to the back fringe...luckily, Snedeker was able to dislodge the divot without touching his ball, and knocked to 3 feet...Stanley a beut, to 3 feet...both made 'em...on the to the par 3 16th...Snedeker pops one over the green...BUT...wait, in lieu of being in the canyon and the match over...hits the TV tower and stops the ball...Stanley to middle of green...Snedeker gets a drop, pops it up to 10 feet and nails it...Stanley 3 putts and loses...

I think we have all been in the situation that Kyle Stanley was in...and it just fell apart...it is sport...high drama...and in golf, you are alone...you fail...sort of...he had a stupendous week and just fell short...too bad...BUT...the classiness of Brandt Snedeker...is above them all...he lamented about what Kyle went through...and was gracious about the win...especially as he has weathered two hip surgeries and thought his career may be over...believe me, at that course, he was tested...I'm proud of them both...

Sunny Days

The weather seems like summer....so warm at night...the party we were at...we were outside most of it...'til about 11...facts, mam, just the facts...

The leader out at the Farmer's is an unknown...Kyle Stanley...look him up...no idea...and he has a 4 stroke lead...and over at Dubai, Tiger didn't finish it off and came in 3rd...more work to be done...but he still picked up his reported $1.7 million...just for showing...

SDSU traveled to Colorado St and got their tales kicked...upset and the ride there was awful...

The peculiar drama of the league's best QB, Peyton Manning, in Indy bewilders me...he does get a bunch of money...but has given their franchise a lot of stability and cash....and the rumor is that they are releasing him...well, to the best suitor...and try their luck with Luck...

Florida just may be the crowning of the GOP nominee...all signs point to Mitt...geez, I think I have said this before...will it change back next week?...regardless...boooo...

The Clippers are leading the Lakers...ha ha...cuz them Lakes can't win away from home...ha ha...

Pool time today...

You Say It's Yer Birthday...

Well, it's my birthday, too ....ah, them Beatles ...thanks to all of you who sent birthday wishes...it's always cool to get them...s...
