MLB has spruced up their playoffs ...no more of the one and done wild card... it is now a best of 3 ...no duh, red rider...there was nothing like that in the regular season, and they had it in place for the playoffs?...finally, they are getting with it...yesterday, made for a great day of beisbol, if you are into it...for moi, I don't get to see much of anyone other than the Friars...so, this was a treat... The crazy 9th for the Phillies, down 2-0...and they went berserk and scored 6 ... the M's looked terrific, well, their pitching did ...and I was in ga ga land when, I noticed their ace closer, Munoz, was once ours...GM Preller messed up on this one...of course, the best of the best, was the last game on... as the Padres cruised...won 7-1 ...and made the pundits all over the land, eat CROW!...the news hub of the Nation, NYC was ticked... Be patient, kids...it is a best of 3 ...so sit tight...don't get euphoric quite yet...there are many innings of the game to be played......

Good morning, kids...have had lots of stuff, and was unable to do my work...consistently ...should be fine for a week or so...hang in there with moi...so how you been?...we had the honor to host them Snookis for a spell...culminating with the Leonid and Friends concert last eve...in Solana Beach...to tell you the elders, standing for 3 1/2 hours is a bit much, is an understatement...needs seats ...duh...but the cover group, all from Russia and Ukraine...were extraordinary...there isn't bitter lads and lassie amongst them...find them on YouTube and you will see and hear the best of Chicago...ah, the group...really fun... The headline is 'Prepare Yourself' ... the price of petrol...will rise ...as OPEC is reducing their output to us...conveniently done prior to the Mid-Term elections...my take, is that the Middle East powers, want a Republican Congress...oil does drive much of what we do...well, everyone does...there are always sinister movements that come about...this is on...

For youse Bums fans , you are used to it...most every season in the MLB...you are basking in the playoffs...vying for the World Series...title...but, the team south of you...certainly not the Angels...but the other one... the San Diego Padres ...have finally got a taste of it now (first since 2006!)...albeit, in the wild card...but really, whoever finishes strong has a shot...thing is, I don't think we are finishing that way...probably need Jr's stuff, for next season to be complete...one step at a time, kids... My FF team is leading going to the Monday niter...LEADING by 9!...it is not a for sure, so...I am winless...so, I could break my maiden...relax...hey, isn't it weird that the Pack lost game 1...QB Rodgers said 'relax'...and they went on a winning streak...last year...guess what?...the same is happening, winning 3 straight...BTW, there is no comparison to my FF team and the Pack...ha ha...
